Kat didn't seem too shocked that Alaina kicked out just before she could count to two. The brunette showed off her toughness further by immediately getting up and returning fire with a slam similar to the one she was just given. The Amazon scoop up Kat and jumped before slamming her straight down and landing on top of her! As a result, Katherine laid there leap in a heap on the sand with her eyes shut. She was left vulnerable while Alaina hooked her leg and began the count.

"One..!

"Two!"

Just as the two count was called, Kat lifted her shoulder, seemingly out of nowhere, out of pure instinct alone! She'd begin to push herself up to her feet while looking at Alaina with a pained expression on her face. "That hurt me a lot more than it hurt you." She said in jest before taking a firm stance and lunging at Sanders. She placed a hand on Alaina's shoulder and her other hand between her thighs, scooping her up off the ground quickly and running forwards a couple steps before jostling her up and throwing her down harder than her previous slam! Kat would then reach for both of Alaina's feet and get them before flipping forwards and attempting a Jackknife Pin before calling out her counts!

Alaina went up and came down worh a jarring impact! She groaned and gasped for air struggling weakly in Kat's grasp!

"ONE! TWO! TH...."

Alaina thrust out of the pin, just barely before three! Panting, the amazon laid there kicking the ground in agony before slowly rolling to her stomach, cradling a short distance before rising up still gasping for air. She was hurting but lumbered over to Kat as she bent over to pick Kat up and try to slam her down again with everything she had left in her! Alaina fell atop and went again for a pin!

Kat followed up her harsh slam with a Jackknife cover for added measure, hoping that it would be enough to put her opponent away! She held nothing back. Having asked Alaina not to hold back, she'd be a hypocrite to do so, herself. After coming close enough to a three count on the Amazon that she could almost taste it, Kat groaned in slight frustration. "Urgh! Next time!" the blonde said as she pounded the ground once to try to vent.

Kat would work her way up to her feet, but as she did, Alaina made her way over. The Slamazon wasted no time giving Kat everything she had, attempting to put her away before thing could start looking any more grim for her. With an audible thud, Kat would be slammed down into the sand for the third time, now. Alaina landing right on top of her maximized the efficacy for the timing of the pin!

"One...! Two...!" But by two and a half, Katherine would kick out! She'd remain in a supine position for several seconds, breathing deeply all the while. After getting her second wind, she'd do a kip up to pop back to her feet and reach for Alaina. Kat would begin to set her up for a Powerslam, but would groan upon and transition to turn it into a Scoop Slam before jumping up and slamming Alaina down, landing on her for an added splash! She'd hook both the brunette's legs and begin to count in the hopes that she'd be able to put her old friend away this time!

Alaina shook her head knowing the next slam was going to be bad. As she went up and crashed down she groaned and that seemed to confirm her worst fears! Kat was on top and hooked both legs as the amazon was laid out. She didn't even resist as the count marched on and on.

"ONE! TWO! THREEE!"

Alaina let out a weak groan as she was humbled again today, just glad that at least her family wasn't watching this one. her arms covered her face as she laid there on her back. After the heated exchange earlier Alaina's pride and taken a huge hit today. She knew Kat was gloating at least on the inside if she didn't say something more after leaving the amazon laying on her back hapless in the sand.

Kat let out an audible sigh as she called the third count. She remained on top of Alaina for a short time, keeping her legs hooked before looking down at the defeated Amazon and observing Alaina keeping her face covered. Kat had wanted to be proud of herself for this personal victory, but Alaina's spirits being down made her feel down, herself.

The victorious blonde vixen would release Alaina from the pin and sit next to her on the wet sad. She wrapped her arms around her knees and contemplated for a moment before venting a bit and finishing off asking Sanders a question which was on the forefront of her mind.

"We can call a quits for today if you'd like...You know...You're a really sore loser, Alaina....Is losing...losing to me....really so demoralizing?"

Alaina heard Kat speak up and she looked up at her, still laying on her back and gasping for breath, wincing when she sat up. "I just hate losing period. I have worked hard to regain my form the past few months and then seeing someone handle me in things I take pride in does hurt. It's not you. Its just that I've never enjoyed defeat if that makes sense." Alaina said looking over at the younger, stronger woman in the sand.

"Is taking on a woman over 40 that meaningful to you?"

Kat continued sitting there next to her friend. She tried resolving their differences with words. By now it was clear that they had two different perspectives and that they'd likely find themselves at odds when it came to certain things. But to Kat, that was ok. That's just how things were, not everyone was always gonna get along with you. Her eyebrows and ears perked up when Alaina asked her if beating a 40 year old woman was at all meaningful.

"Haha!" Kat reacted by laughing while trying to slowly work her way up to her feet. "Beating a random 40 year old chick that has no business being anywhere near a ring? No thanks. Beating a woman over 40 that's an accomplished wrestler? A woman that barely beat me back in her prime by the skin of her teeth? A woman that's gone on to win multiple championships all across the world, and cementing her legacy in pro wrestling scene? A woman I thought I'd never get the chance to face off with again?Yeah it does, haha. But I see where you're coming from." She'd say before extending a hand to the downed Amazon. "You'll get plenty of chances to restore your pride. I'm down for a rematch, any kind of rematch, anytime." Katherine finished up with a smile and an offer that she hoped would keep the two on good enough terms for now.

Alaina smiled as Kat spoke. "You have a foggy memory of the first match, and I would be more than happy to show you that it was no fluke." Alaina said as she stood up. "Name the time, place, and match. I will make it happen." Alaina said, accepting the help up somewhat begrudgingly as she was thoroughly outclassed this day.

Katherine nodded at Alaina's rebuttal. She enjoyed seeing her friend smile with the spirit of competitiveness. She'd brush off the sand from her arms and legs while replying. "That offer goes both ways, girl. You have my number and you know where to find me. We're gonna be wrestling for the same promotion, after all. Gym, my house, your house, an official match. You name it. I'll be there. For now, though, I think Anna and Carl are probably wondering what Mom went...Maybe we should part ways, here? I kinda wanna go get food, haha." As she finished her statement, her stomach growled. Kat was running on empty even before she met Alaina, today. She was ready to continue looking around for a place to eat.

Alaina followed suit trying to brush herself off. "Sounds good to me. You will hear from me soon." Alaina said before heading into the water to clean off.

"I should get back to them, and I will see you in the ring again soon." Alaina said as she waved turning to continue further into the water.
