Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
Oh, Halloween was so happy to see her little babies making a new friend. They crawled up Mama Bears arm, skitter skitter skitter, happily marching up with happy, hungry eyes and open jaws. Ready to climb, ready to touch, ready to bite, staring up at her dozens and dozens of legs across the Bear’s bare skin…
But, sadly, the Ursine Ursurper wasn’t in a friendly mood, and she hastily shut down the meet-and-greet. ”Well, that’s not very nice? What’s wrong, Pooh? Don’t you like my-.”
Halloween was cut off as water was abruptly splashed in her face, utterly dousing her. Not the most pleasant of sensations, especially in this place - who knew where the water had been? But Halloween’s reaction was, well…
She screamed. A loud, wailing shriek, as she staggered back and covered her face. Steam rose through her finger and the air filled with a smell like burning meat, as she staggered away in utter agony. ”I’m melting! I’m melting!”

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
The plan of grabbing Halloween tight and refusing to let go had fallen apart almost instantly, as a sudden deluge of spiders coming from the hooded woman's sleeves would cause Mama Bear to abandon her grip, swinging her hands to shake them off. An immediate reaction of disgust that abandoned her hold on Halloween, Mama Bear failing once more to actually lock down her opponent and prevent her from doing as she pleased, but the masked woman thought fast, reaching out to the water that trailed up to the wall beside her. She'd scoop up as much as she could in a motion and fling at Halloween, and the results were immediate... and really, really good? Halloween shrieked as if she had suddenly been burned, and staggered backwards, steam suddenly beginning to pour out from her where the water had touched, as she howled.
At first, Mama Bear's hands flew to her hand. Whatever had caused this reaction, if it HAD been the water, she was suddenly more than aware that her hand would be suffering a similar effect. But, examining herself, she found nothing. Her hand was wet of course, but besides that, there was nothing more to the liquid, and Halloween's cries that she were melting begin to paint more of a picture of what was happening.
This was another trick.
Mama Bear's eyes narrowed as the hooded figure called out, the cries now sounding far more mocking with the knowledge that this was another part of the show, another act for Mama Bear, and the masked woman took exception. But she also had been taking notes. And as she had decided before, what she needed, more than anything, was to keep removing those tricks, letting Halloween's options dwindle, until she ran out.
"Then let me help you..." The masked woman hissed, before her hand shot out again. This time, it didn't reach for Halloween, but the cloak that adorned her frame. Mama Bear aimed to grasp hold of her outfit and yank hard, tearing it off of her and removing yet another option for Halloween to obscure her traps behind!

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
Halloween writhed and danced about as she covered her face, shrieking in utter, blood-curdling agony. While the sincerity of it was up for debate, there would be no debating her acting skills if this were all a trick, and she certainly hadn't skimped on the special effects. Her screech was ethereal, like a wailing banshee’s howl, something that had no business coming from mortal lungs.
Mama Bear, however, could not have conceivably cared less.
The woman came in quick and seized Halloween while she was in the throes of pain, ripping away at her outfit. The tattered cloth shredded with ease, coming apart at the seams to reveal the tattered woman underneath.
And then .
The woman looked up at Mama Bear with her milk white eye and frothing lips, then let of shrill shriek as she pounced, hopping up on the big bitch’s chest and hugging her tight. She brought slimy lips to her foe’s neck and bit hard on the tender flesh, gnashing at the neck as her fingers clawed away at the skin, moving like a wild animal.

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
The shrill screams of Halloween easily filled the small and decrepit bathroom, Mama Bear feeling a twinge in her ears from the volume of them, though they did nothing but aggravate the masked woman further, her brow furrowing. Still, with Halloween steaming and shrieking, she was turned to face the opposite direction of Mama Bear, and as such, the heavyweight woman would reach out and grab hold of the cloak that Halloween had donned, wrenching back hard to tear it from her body with one swift motion. The cloth, already ragged and old looking, tore away from her with ease, offering not a single inch of resistance as it was ripped away, to expose the woman underneath.
The zombie woman, that was. Halloween's appearance had changed drastically, grey skin and bloodstains covering her, her clothing destroyed and giving her a look as though someone had dug her out of a month-old grave. Mama Bear only had enough time to get a quick overview of change before Halloween charged her, and the small zombie was suddenly on top of her.
"What the fuck?! OW!" Mama Bear yelped as Halloween bit down, clawing and scratching and gnawing at her wherever she could, the masked woman staggering backwards as Halloween latched onto her. But now, finally, Halloween was close, and that was what Mama Bear had been waiting for!
"Fucking BITCH!" Mama Bear shot a hand up and latched it onto the zombie's neck, forcing some space between them as she held the writhing woman aloft, only for a moment. Then, with a sudden and powerful turn, the masked woman would pivot and swing her towards the bathtub, attempting to fling her into it! The water splashing high up to the ceiling, where it sat unnaturally, and the several additions on the edge of it, candles and crosses and insects alike, all falling in with the smaller wrestler!

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
Halloween didn’t merely look like death - she smelled of it, too. The funk of 40,000 years hung in the air, invading Mama Bear’s nose like an encroaching army on the battlefield, assaulting her senses with its overbearing stench. Her flesh crawled and rotted, and her mouth was rank like fetid meat, festering with decay and undeath.
It would’ve been a harrowing sensation at any distance, but it was overpowering at this range, with Halloween and clawing and gnashing and biting and scratching and hissing and shrieking and spitting all over Mama Bear.
The mighty woman flung Halloween away, sending her screaming form flying across the room into the bathtub. It would’ve been a crippling crash for most, but most weren’t straddling the line between life and death, kept between by forces unspeakable and arcane.
Halloween was already lurching upwards when the cross fell upon her back. The moment it made contact, she howled, an ear-piercing wail, as the mere touch of it scorched her skin and filled the air with the acrid taste of rotten burning meat. Halloween leaped away and crawled up the watery walls, defying gravity as she scampered up the ceiling like some giant bug, heading back down to the first floor…

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
Disgusted with the now-seemingly rotting woman latched to her body, Mama Bear staggered this way and that before she finally planted her feet, getting a good grip on the smaller woman's neck, which she used to suddenly turn and throw her straight towards the tub. The water splashed all over the decaying floor, likely doing the rotting wood no favors, and as the water spilled all over, the various objects lining the tub's frame would fall inside as well, one of them landing flush on Halloween's back. A large, wooden cross. The moment it touched her, Halloween sprung up with a wail and jumped up to the walls, crawling along them to the ceiling, before skittering over the door's frame and back downstairs.
Alright, that stunt was a bit harder to explain. Mama Bear's eyes trailed over where Halloween had went, finding no obvious handholds, but the masked woman's narrowed gaze would only linger for so long before she gazed down the stairs. The bag of tricks was running out, as Halloween skittered back to places she had already been. But one thing stopped Mama Bear before she left the room, her gaze shifting back to the object that had seemingly caused Halloween so much pain.
The cross floated gently atop the water, seemingly sitting perfectly in the center of the tub. It was a bit cliche, but if Halloween wanted to play to this theme, then Mama Bear was willing enough to equip herself in kind.
"Oh little lady... I've got something for you..." Mama Bear hissed, retrieving the cross from the water and brandishing it in her hand, exiting the bathroom and slowly making her way down the stairs, following a trail of water that had dripped from the ceiling to the floor. She would exit the stairs into the familiar site of the destroyed kitchen, and give a brief look around, holding the cross ready for when Halloween would come at her next. Her opponent was close, she cold practically feel the eyes watching her...

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
”Mama!”
”Mama?”
”Stay with us.”
”Play with us.”
”Forever and everevereverever-”
As Mama Bear made her way down the stairs, her senses were assaulted from every direction, as dozens and dozens of voice swirled around her. Some of the were children, laughing and crying and singing , while others were older and more haggard, muttering words that could scarcely be deciphered. The shadows danced along the walls as if they had minds of their own, morphing into grotesque and inhuman shapes, and the smell of something acrid hung in the air. Rank, sharp, biting - sulfur and brimstone.
The darkness swirled around her like a living, fearful thing, swiping at her but never daring to close the distance and take its prize. In the midst of this madness, Mama Bear stood out like a beacon in the night, the calm at the center of the storm.
As she moved through the house, a nearby door besides the stairs slowly opened, showing the way down into a darkened basement, darker than the night along a lightless road. There, in the shadows, footsteps could be heard, scampering back and forth in the shadows, along with a faint, taunting call.
”Come and get me, bitch.”
”Mama?”
”Help us, Man!
”Stay with us.”
”Play with us.”
”Forever and everevereverever-”

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
The trip down the stairs was far more harrowing than the first time, as it seemed that the smoke and mirrors had amped up rather than dwindled down, a concerning sign for the masked woman, though she trudged through them all the same. How Halloween had managed to set up all this, the fog and the several screams that came from seemingly right next to her, she couldn't be sure. She couldn't be bothered to try and figure it out either, knowing that her opponent was still lurking. At least, she was prepared for that, but Halloween had retreated further than she thought, and as she finally arrived down at the first floor once more, a new door was open. One that led down into a basement.
"You gotta be kidding..." Mama Bear groaned, already thinking of the dust and cobwebs that awaited her, but something else awaited her down in the depths as well. Footsteps skittering this way and that, and a taunting voice slithering up the stairs, inviting her down with another taunt. Mama Bear's eyes narrowed, scanning the way down and finding nothing but dull lights and destroyed walls and stairs.
There was no way that Halloween was coming up, and there was no way that Mama Bear was running away. Which only left the heavyweight with one option. She would have to come down to her.
"You should be careful what you ask for..." Mama Bear growled, holding her makeshift weapon tight as she began to descend the stairs, the creaking wood making it readily apparent to anyone listening that she was on the way. She glanced up at the lights above, giving them a curious look. If any horror movie were a guide now, then those lights weren't going to last, which meant that she would quickly look back down and scan her surroundings, trying to get a good grasp of the area she was entering as she made her way down the final step and into the basement...

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
Halloween was, in fact, not kidding. Abandon all hope.
Sure enough, the lights began to flicker, then fade, then falter altogether, bathing her in the blackness. The darkness beckoned Mama Bear like the gaping maw of some great beast, a yawning chasm that plunged into the abyss. An unnatural darkness that seemed to swallow all the light that came into contact with it, as if it rejected any attempts at warmth or safety.
Above them, the storm raged into a tempest. Sheets of rain bashed the wall, and water dripped through every crack and pore, with the basement being their final destination. The moment Mama Bear reached the bottom, she would find herself ankle deep in water, and around those ankles thing with slither. A little touch here. A little tap there. Fish? Maybe. Maybe not.
Through the gloom, over the hammering rain, something soft could be heard on the ceiling above Mama Bear. Something approaching from an angle no human had business approaching. Slow. Crawling. Like a predator stalking its prey. Close and closer now, the drool dripping down her neck, the hot breath against her skin…

Re: I Know What You Did Last Spring
For one of the very first times in a long while, Mama Bear wished that she hadn’t been correct. The sudden removal of the lights plunged her into a darkness that wasn’t just surprising, but nearly overwhelming, removing an entire sense from her. She was navigating now on touch and sound, and given that was what Halloween had been using to torment her for most of the night, it wasn’t exactly the most comforting thought. There were several long seconds before she stepped forwards in the water, the sound of liquid sloshing ringing out amidst the groaning of the house during the storm.
“Whatever idiot okayed this idea is getting fired and buying me new boots…” Probably not necessarily in that order, but she would make the effort all the same. The masked woman’s voice was low, still listening sharply and mostly just speaking to break the unceasing howl of wind, but soon enough, another noise began to sound. Little splashes nearby, certainly not made by her, causing her to spin and face the direction, not that it could help her see anything. They drew closer, something even sliding near enough to touch her, but her swift kicks outwards in response didn’t find anything to impact upon.
Instead, a new noise would arise, a low gasp of breath that tickled her neck, the sign that something had crept up behind her. Something above on the ceiling, that was looming close. Close enough that she could do something about it.
“Back OFF!” Came the sudden cry as Mama Bear whirled towards the thing stalking her in the dark, her hand wrapped tightly around the large wooden cross that she had collected from the bathroom upstairs. She didn’t swing it like a weapon, but rather gripped it tightly in her hand as she threw a punch towards the cause of the disturbance, using the cross to add plenty of extra weight as she attempted to blast the thing behind her, hoping it was the woman who had drawn her here!
