Contests on the Beach

"Better?!?" Kat's expression changed to one of dissent and disagreement. Her friend's words sparked her to begin going at Alaina with the entirety of her strength! She'd abruptly and instinctively push down and attempt to spike Sander's arm into the table with everything she had! The brawny blonde didn't think or hesitate. If she was able to win right then and there, she'd take a deep breath and try to calm herself down. Katherine would look Alaina in the eye before speaking in a more serious tone than she usually did.

"Look, girl. I'm not trying to bring down your spirits. I don't think you're washed up at all. If I did, I wouldn't be arm wrestling you on the beach, haha. You've hung with the best of them all over the world and you signed up with LAW so you could keep it that way....But if you ask me, you're not definitively better than me....you never really were. "

As hard as Alaina tried this was a case of her best not being good enough. She resisted ad much as she could but after an initial bump back against Kat it was a slow descent until Alaina's hand thunked against the table!

Kats words earlier got under her skin and apparently hers had the same effect. She listened to Kat and her expression cooled significantly. While her blood was starting to simmer she kept her mouth shut, forcing a smile. "....whats next?" She asked, masking her agitation over her inability to perform in the first contest.

Kat sighed again as Alaina smiled asn asked her what was next. Despite her friend playing it off, she could tell there were hard feelings on both sides of the table. The tension was beginning to grow plentiful and thick enough to be felt from a distance. Hart would rise to her feet slowly and turn her head to look at the tide.

"Look, we're both a little stressed out. And I'm sorry, you were having a great day till I came along. Whaddya say we vent our frustrations with each other in a slam contest....the sand by the side is wet and solid enough. You wanna try and tie things up? They still occasionally call ya 'Slamazon', right?" Kat began to walk towards the wet sand while trying to play things off, but she knew it would ultimately be to no avail. Alaina had genuine strong feelings about believing herself to be better than Katherine. And the tensions arose when Kat voiced that she felt that it was the other way around.

Alaina nodded and looked over at the sand. "Looms like a good spot to me, let's do it." Alaina said as the two walked on down. She felt the tension too. They both said their piece. Alaina knew whoever won this would have effectively backed it up.

Sure she was 42 and not fully back I practice yet... but at her height she thought she could take anyone, oftentimes that is exactly what she did. Kat being better now? Alaina could swallow that pill. Kat putting Alaina away when she was at her best and her win being a lucky freak accident against Kat? Therein lies Alaina's resentment.

The two arrived at the spot and the ground was plenty firm. "Who goes first?"

The two beauties made their way to a sizable area of firm, wet sand, they stood in their swimsuits faccing each other and to discuss how this would go down. Kat placed a hand on her head to think of how she could help relieve the stress the two were feeling from their differences in opinion. Alaina was among the last people she wanted to make an enemy out of.

In the midst of her thoughts, Haines prompted her by asking which of them should go first. Kat would shrug before spreading her feet and arm to assume the shape reminiscent of a starfish. In an effort to cool things down between the two of them, she'd smile to Alaina and offer her the first go. "You go first, Alaina. I'm all yours, I insist. Don't hold back, now, alright?"

Alaina smiled and nodded, grabbing hold of Kat to scoop her up! Alaina grunted as she slammed her back down in the sand as hard as she could, looking at the imprint Kat left! Alaina waste no time quickly covering Kat and hooking a leg! She knew the count wasn't going to go far, and was genuinely curious as to how quickly Kat would kick out against Alaina's slams!

It was either going to be encouraging or disappointing....

Kat knew Alaina didn't have to think twice about slamming her into the sand so hard and so fast that she'd need to recalibrate her senses. Especially given their recent differences in opinion. She closed her eyes as The Amazon moved in and hoisted her up. And she yelped as she was slammed down with authority!

The bikini clad wrestler laid there in the imprint that her body made in the sand as Alaina quickly covered her and began counting! Instinctively, Hart would throw her shoulder up as soon as she could, about halfway between the counts of one and two! She would rub the small of her back a bit and groan before asking: "...My...My turn...?"

Alaina felt Ka kick out and knew that the woman had plenty of fight in her. "Yeah, your turn." Alaina said as she stood up and knew what was coming. Kat beat her in arm wrestling, and now Alaina would see how much toughness she had left in herself. Kat could slam, and slam hard. This was going to be painful even on this surface.

"Ready when you are Kat." Alaina said as she did her best to tense up and brace herself for what was coming.

"It's not my preference but...I'm pretty sure you'll stick with Scoop Slams, right? So I'll do the same." Kat said as she pushed herself up to her feet while trying to shrug off the pain in her back from that first slam. She contemplated to herself that giving Alaina the first slam might have been a mistake. Katherine always had exceptional toughness, but a combination of Alaina's ability to slam with the best of them and toughness that could outshine her own might be enough to tip the scales.

With a nod to Alaina to answer her remark, Kat cracked her knuckles before tensing up and lunging at her Amazon friend. She'd lift the brunette onto her shoulder and jump to throw her up high before coming down and slamming the one-piece clad beauty hard into the wet sand! She'd land directly on top of Alaina and waste no time counting, just as Alaina did with her!

"Whoa.. arrrgh!"

This was a sensation Alaina didn't miss. Her back hurt like hell even in the wet sand and Kat quickly laid across her chest! Alaina's legs flailed as the count began!

"One....tw..."

Just shy of two, practically right at two Alaina bucked her legs and hips enough to break the pin! She laid there a second and kicked the sand before getting up grabbing at her back. "Damn...." She said gritting her teeth and stepping up to Kat. Alaina had a lot of pride in how hard she hit and how much punishment she could take but right now she felt like her age was catching up to her as well as her time off.

Taking a deep breath Alaina lift Kat as high as she could and planted her back on the ground with authority, jumping up and landing atop for a little standing splash pin as well! Alaina hooked a leg after and began to count as she hoped this would do a number to Kat!
