Her first podcast was a resounding success; the re-uploaded video had garnered over seventy thousand views. This was to be expected, as Flora had captured the attention of her fans. Now, Sue was looking to create a podcast with a trendsetting newcomer, but she faced rejection several times, even from her own friends like Anna Sigrid and Clarissa Kristel.
But that didn't discourage Sue, and in her search for a guest, she found a heavyweight wrestler who had recently faced the former LAW Heavyweight Champion and put on a fantastic match. Undoubtedly, people would be eager to learn more about this newcomer!

"Well... I think the microphone is okay... Wicho says so, that's a good sign, heh! Okay! Good afternoon, it's a great pleasure to be back with you all, Amy, thanks for those bits, they're always appreciated." Sue said, laughing, as she read her subscriber's comment. "Well, yes, things have been a bit crazy lately. But despite that, I'm here to try and cheer you all up! Because today we have a surprise... You see, we recently had a new heavyweight champion on the LAW circuit, and just like that, she disappeared. Certain issues arose here and there, but that doesn't mean the heavyweight division is a complete disaster, as many of you seem to think. Sure, it's easy for us to sit here and give our opinions, but as someone who works in LAW, I can assure you that things are more complex than they appear."
Sue placed her hands on the table, interlacing her fingers. "And to give you a glimpse of what's coming up in the heavyweight circuit, and to discuss the current championship situation in more depth, we're joined today by one of the division's most promising talents. A young woman who has been making waves recently, and who, despite not having as many matches as other wrestlers, has won the hearts of fans with her outstanding performances. Joining us today is none other than Erika Lavoy, also known as LaDestroyer." Sue enthusiastically introduced her guest, who was seated across the table, almost immediately coming into focus on her.
The moment the camera focused on Erika, she was all smiles, raising both of her hands in V-signs for the camera! "Heyyyy, y'all! It's me, la one and only LaDestroyer!"
The Canadian was wearing a simple City and Colour t-shirt and jeans that seemed to hug her massive frame. Still beaming, she turned towards Sue. "Seriously, thank you for having me on here! I was honestly pretty hyped when you called to ask if me if I wanted to be a guest here. Although I also can't say I know of any other LAW wrestlers who are running their own podcast, but if there are, you are the only one who reached out to me!"
Erika appeared radiant before the cameras, and the audience reacted enthusiastically, with the comments section overflowing with praise and compliments for the blonde. "Well, actually, I'm the one who should thank you for joining us today! The fact that there aren't many female wrestlers doing podcasts is mainly due to the hectic schedules that almost all professional wrestlers have. It's very difficult to find time for them to come on and talk, so I'm really more than happy to be talking to you on this podcast. Especially since I've followed your career since you started in LAW, and I don't miss any of your matches!" Sue said, trembling with excitement.
"Actually, your first match in LAW was somewhat unusual, since you appeared in Theodora's open challenge. I mean, you didn't make your debut with a singles match or anything like that, but you came in and said, 'You're the one who gives the strongest hugs!'" "I'm the one who gives the strongest hugs here!!" Sue comically imitated Erika's voice, giggling. "And then Theodora was like, 'What the heck? Where did this blonde come from?' Hahaha."
Erika chuckled at Sue's impression. "Actually that's pretty good," she said. "Not Theodora's actual reaction but pretty close. But I'm gonna stop you there, kay, because that actually WASN'T my first bout here in LAW. My first one was actually an exhibition match against Karen Adams, but we can circle back to that one in a bit."
She took a sip from her water before continuing. "But that match with Theodora? That was AWESOME. I mean Theodora is one of the strongest ladies on the LAW roster, so naturally I wanted to see what she was like. And I don't know if you've faced her or talked to her at all, but when she says she gives killer bear hugs, she gives KILLER bear hugs. I actually had to recuperate for a week after that match, my back was giving me a lot of problems. But I did make her tap out once with a hug of my own, so that counts for something. She was a ton of fun to fight against."
Sue let out a friendly laugh as soon as she heard Erika talking about Theodora; her enthusiasm was palpable. "Let's see! I don't know Theodora, but from what I've seen, she seems more like a pretty flirty girl than a strong one. If I remember correctly, I know someone who faced her, and she actually looks a lot like you. You've probably heard of the former MMA champion, Garlim Ivanna. Well, she's also a LAW wrestler and a teammate of a friend of mine. She faced Theodora on one of her tours, and I don't remember exactly how it ended, but Garlim seems to blush when someone mentions the muscle bear." Sue said between laughs. "So it must be a lot of fun having to compete against women like her; they make the matches much more entertaining."
Sue leaned forward a little more, until her chest rested on her thighs. "But people want to know more about you, Erika. Could you tell us more about your life before you came to LAW? What motivated you to build your career on this circuit despite its current terrible state?"
Erika couldn't help but laugh at Sue's reply. "I believe me, Theodora is pretty damn strong," she replied. "As to whether or not she's flirty, well...your friend Garlim is right to blush. But above all else, you're right, that fight was fun more than anything else. It's one of those matches you honestly don't mind losing so much."
She leaned back a little in her seat as Sue asked her next question. "For sure! I came from this town on Ontario called Sudbury, and I started off wrestling in local leagues all over the province. Hamilton, Windsor, Toronto, Ottawa...and then I started doing some circuits across the border in the US and Mexico. Eventually I came to Japan, did a few more stints in a few more feds, and...well here I am. But you tell me, what gave you the impression that this circuit is terrible? Because its fuckin' awesome so far! All of my matches have been against great opponents, and the fans have been amazing!"
Sue nodded as she listened to Erika's anecdotes; she was undoubtedly a girl passionate about wrestling. "Of course, it's something that's been noticeable for a while now, but you see, Erika, we have to agree on one thing: LAW is full of talent. But the problem is that, at a competitive level, the management has been nothing short of disastrous. As you know, Ambre Brault was recently stripped of her title. And it's not the first time something like this has happened, as the management of titles and events has been in constant stagnation. What makes it almost impossible to compete in any division isn't a lack of talent, but a lack of development. And that's led many talented wrestlers to decide to leave LAW because they feel undervalued." Sue immediately showed some pictures of several wrestlers who had left LAW.
"The most recent case was E'isa, who complained about the lack of competition and the fact that most of the champions just hoard the titles and do nothing with them in the long run, even rejecting potential challengers. She also felt uncomfortable with the work environment, as she was being pressured into the more lascivious side of wrestling. This, coupled with ego problems, means that like her, many other wrestlers also felt dissatisfied with the lack of opportunities to establish themselves. And Ambre Brault, the most recent heavyweight champion, was fired precisely because of problems with management, due to the lack of competition and the absence of heels in the main event." Sue leaned back in her chair and raised her hands to her chin. "It's like a bubble that was going to burst sooner or later. New wrestlers don't feel welcome, and there's a lack of opportunity to develop their careers competitively."

Erika nodded slowly as Sue went on about issues that, in all honesty, were public knowledge. Anyone going on a chatroom would have found at least one person railing against some of the management issues in LAW, and everyone had at least some opinion on the controversy surrounding Ambre Brault and her belt loss. Erika wasn't oblivious to any of this. However, she had also signed a contract with LAW and had made good strides in the new federation so far; she wasn't about to rock the boat too much by badmouthing the company she had just signed up with.
"Yeah, what happened with Ambre and E'isa was awful," she agreed. "Both ladies deserved better, no question. But if you want me to weigh in on my opinion on LAW as a company...I mean I practically just got here." She gave a good-natured chuckle. "Are you telling me that I should consider leaving now? Because if you're asking me if I don't feel welcome or there's a lack of opportunity...I mean the number of matches I've had so far are telling me otherwise."
Sue smiled, intrigued by Erika's cautious response. As one of the rising stars, it was interesting to hear her perspective on the matter. "Well, nobody's saying that at all. It would be really bad for all the fans if you suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth," Sue said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "I'm talking more about the bigger picture." Sue leaned forward, her gaze fixed on Erika. "The way the company treats its wrestlers, the way they're managed, and the opportunities available to them. And I'm not saying you're naive, but it's obvious the outlook is uncertain for everyone." Sue's expression turned serious. "I'm just saying, as someone who's been around for a while, I've seen some... let's call them 'red flags' that might make you think twice about staying with LAW. But hey, if you're happy with how things are going, that's all that matters, right?"
Sue suddenly turned to a monitor at the side, where the podcast logo was displayed. It then transitioned to showing clips of Erika's matches with a great background song. The stream's comments section was soon flooded with praise for Erika's performance, showing her submitting Theodora, treating Aizen like a lightweight, and making former heavyweight champion Alaina Sanders bleed. Several images showcased her signature moves executed with brilliance. "If you ask me, Erika, I would only describe this as beautiful. The way you demonstrate your mastery is a work of art." Sue said honestly. "So, tell me, what do you think about how they're handling the heel division? I've heard rumors that they're looking to bring in some new talent to shake things up."
