A final Farewell - Hannah vs Daichi Kazura

Unread post by Hello-API »

The gym felt heavier today. The air, thick with the scent of sweat and effort, carried a weight that wasn’t there before. Hannah stood in the center, her eyes drifting over the walls covered in memories—posters, pictures, and scuff marks on the mat that told the stories of countless battles fought here. This was her home, the place she had built with her own hands. And now, she was leaving it behind.

She sighed, forcing herself to focus. This wasn’t just any day. This was her final match in Korea before she moved to be closer to LAW. The opportunity was too great to pass up, but the thought of leaving everything behind left a hollow feeling in her chest.

And now, as if to test her one last time, LAW had sent a representative to evaluate her skills. They might have already signed her, but they wanted to be sure—LAW didn’t take chances on just anyone. That alone was enough to push away the sadness, to ignite the fire within her. If they wanted a test, she’d give them one.

Hannah finished packing what little she had left in her office before stepping into the locker room, peeling off her casual clothes and replacing them with her wrestling gear. Tightening her gear to hug more on her curves, allowing for more mobility to come as she wants her last sendoff to be on a good note.

She moved onto the mat, starting her usual warm-up routine. Rolls, stretches, and footwork drills—everything to make sure she was in top condition. An hour passed, the rhythmic sounds of her body hitting the mat filling the gym. Just then the door of her gym creaked.

The door creaked open, followed by the sound of footsteps. At first, she thought it was just her opponent, but as she turned, she found something far greater. A crowd had begun to form. Students she had trained, fans who had followed her journey, friends who had supported her from the start. They had all come to watch her final match in Korea, a slight tear almost formed out of her eye but she sucked it up as she needed to be strong. She’d make her way to mat before taking a seat as she waits for her opponent to make their arrival.

This was certainly quite the surprise for the young rookie Daichi. His time in LAW hadn't been the most successful one, although he hadn't been here long enough to really accomplish alot either. He was still considered a rookie and was just still 21, so he certainly had a long way to go in his career to find success. He jumped at the chance of facing someone of the stature of Hannah Cha, a legendary Korean wrestler who had just joined the ranks of LAW and was soon to be introduced as their latest acquisition. However, she wanted to give tribute to her roots and LAW was happy to oblige as well as this would be a good test to see how good she was.

After spending a nice couple of days in the city of Seoul, which he treated as a good vacation! It was now time to actually do what he came here for. If he was able to defeat Hannah in front of her own friends and supporters, it would sky rocket his career on defeating the legendary wrestler and give her a loss even before her LAW journey would begin. Arriving in the gym, he would notice a small crowd gather around the wrestling mats which he assumed would be the place for his match. Smiling, he would head over to the locker room to get changed. After stripping out of his casual clothes, he would head to the showers to take a quick shower and then change into a pair of blue wrestling briefs and nothing else. He would dry himself off, put some deodorant and was finally ready to head outside.

"Alright! I can do this" he said, tapping his cheeks while looking himself in the mirror and jumping up and down. "Oh crap, I gotta go" he said, realizing his opponent would have been waiting for him. He would quickly head out of the locker room towards the main gym hall, where the crowd had gathered before stepping up on the mats to watch his opponent sitting down. He noticed that a light coat of sweat had already formed her skin, and the scent of sweat was thick in the gym. It was clear she had been training or warming up for quite some time. "Cha-san....its an honor to meet you" he said bowing a bit. "However, don't you think you are underestimated me a little bit by training so intensively before our match?" he said, feeling a bit disrespected by the Korean legend.

The match was going to be a 2/3 smother match, he may have been at a slight disadvantage, but he was still confident in his wrestling ability to win this match.
