"You don't need to worry. We'll kill him if we have to. Between Leonie and Christina, I'm sure we can figure out how to bury a body without anyone noticing."

Julie giggled. "Thanks, Louisey. I can handle myself if it comes to it. You didn't even need to see me off, y'know!"

Her teammate shrugged. "Someone had to. Zane is more of a misogynist than most of the men fighting and working for LAW. That's saying something."

"True. Still, I've set some ground rules, and it's his money being blown on this date. Even if he wasn't treating it like his life's goal to get in my pants, he'd have a lot at stake."

"It's like you always say. Men are trash. Zane is worse." Louise grinned. "A tough life for those of us in Team Stanza who still like dick." Suddenly, a car pulled up and honked in front of their building. "Hm. He got Uber Black. Maybe this will go well."

"That's the hope..." Julie sighed. She opened the door, and Louise followed. As the scariest woman in Team Stanza posted up on the doorframe to glare at Zane, Julie checked her outfit. She was wearing a simple blue halter bikini top. Her asymmetric-patterned bottoms were covered by a sheer blue sarong. Completing the ensemble was a baseball cap -- with nothing else but Julie's Instagram logo, of course.

When she got to the car, she simply stopped and crossed her arms. "Not gonna open the door for me? Chivalry really is dead..." Then she reached out and opened the door. Before she got in, she nudged her head back towards where Louise was standing. Julie knew that if looks could kill, her girl over there would've gunned Zane dead ten times over by now. "She wanted to see me off. The look says the rest, but if you need her to spell it out for you, now's your chance." Then she got in the car and closed the door.

Zane smiled and relaxed against the seat of the uber while on his phone, checking the details from his most recent stream, really whatever he could to occupy his time while waiting on his oh so reluctant date for the day. Of course he'd be sure to change that tune of hers over the course of today with what he had planned.

Naturally though things would get off to not the best start since when he looked up it was as the door opened and Julie came into the car, meaning he missed his chance to open the door for her, and just past her by the the entrance to where team Stanza stayed he saw a rather... angry looking individual glaring his way.

Not that Zane minded as he flashed a wry smile her way and two finger salute towards her before turning to Julie. "Well hello to you too." He said jokingly towards her before putting his phone away and leaning back to take Julie and her outfit in whistling in approval as he did so.

"Looking great by the way, and no worries, I have a decent idea of what she means." He said with a chuckle and flashing a more confident smile towards Julie as he straightened back up. "I don't think it will be neccessary though, not with how I have this date planned out." He said with a smirk, determined to not let this chance slip up.

As soon as Julie closed the door, the Uber set off towards the all-exclusive beach resort. Getting into a car with a weird guy was, like, the top no-no on a long list of no-nos for a single woman. But she had at least some faith in Zane, and the Uber driver was in here, too. Worst case scenario, Julie was a capable fighter.

The guy still made her skin crawl, especially sitting so close to her, but at least Julie felt safe... And maybe part of her wanted to see what Zane had in store for her tonight. Akiya wasn't a bad bonus, either.

She was just starting to debate herself over whether she should sleep through the drive when she realized that Zane spoke. "Oh, really?" she hummed. There was something about Zane right now, a little glint in his eye. Julie usually thought of him as someone who acted on impulse -- not much of a planner. Zane probably wasn't (that) dumb, but elaborate schemes didn't seem his speed. "Tell me: Are you the kind of guy to give away spoilers as a teaser? Or am I in for a surprise?"

Step one of wooing complete. Picking her up and not getting knocked out or stiffed. The fancy Uber definitely being worth the extra coin to make a good impression, that and keeping himself on good behavior. Phase two would be the hard part though, actually getting her invested in the date and by proxy himself, and her barely acknowledging he spoke was not a great sign. Luckily despite that he seemed to have at least gotten some of her attention as she asked if he was the type to offer a teaser or not.

Too which Zane would just smirk as he leaned against the seat. "If you watched my streams you know I never like to let a surprise be known THAT easily, but lets just say that you'll very pleasantly surprised, so much so even YOU'RE opinion of me may change, you may even ask for a second date." Zane said with wink at the end, keeping up his usual charming charisma, only this time with some legitimate confidence in what he knew was set up to back him up and as if the universe was on his side they would soon pull right up to the beach resort right after. "Shall we M'lady?" Zane asked with a smirk while getting out and hurrying around to the other side of the car and opening the door for Julie, even holding his hand out to help her out, trying to earn some brownie points from her in the process.

Julie rolled her eyes, but more with annoyance than disdain. Still, she smiled. A little bit. Confidence wasn't too bad on its own, but she reminded herself: dealing with Zane required context. And with that in mind? He did not earn the benefit of the doubt... Unfortunately, the Akiya Beach Club earned him a lot of cred. "A second date, huh? That'll be the day. I'm not even sure this'll qualify as a first..." Julie hummed. "But I've been surprised before."

A few sigh-filled bouts of small talk later, they arrived. Before Julie could pull on its handle, her door opened. She looked at Zane for a moment, eyebrow raised in disbelief, then let out a half-scoff, half laugh. "I guess we shall." She let him pull her out of the vehicle, but the moment she stepped out, Julie slipped her arm around Zane's. On the one hand, she was touching more of him now than she was before. On the other, this was a lot more polite. Elegant. Refined. And it wasn't holding hands with Zane Lambert.

(Plus, who wouldn't want to be led into a swanky resort by a gallant escort?)

The sun was just a few inches over the horizon. Behind the small building that held the bar, nightclub, and employee areas, pristine white sand sat as far as the eye could see. Light glimmered off the ocean just beyond, and Mount Fuji loomed behind them.

It was, regrettably, impressive.

"I hope you didn't spring for an overnight stay. I'd hate for your room to go to waste."

Zane smirked softly as he pulled Julie out of the Uber and admittedly was pleasantly surprised when she looped her arms around his in a almost classic date posture for the two. Granted it was no arm around her or even holding hands, but this had a certain charm about it and he wasn't about to turn down her showing some mild form of interest in this date other than curiosity. Leading Julie in Zane would chuckle softly at Julie's words.

"Nope I sprang for something way better." Zane said as the two made it to reception where Zane handed over his id so they could confirm his booking. "Hands out please." Said the receptionist and once done the would have two swanky silver bands placed over their arms.

"As stated in your all exclusive package sir, the two of you have your own private cabana along with full expenses paid drink and food package. Just use the tablet inside your cabana to order whatever food or drink you like, as well as unfettered access to whatever recreational items you may want to use and be sure to stay for the firework show scheduled for 8 o'clock tonight. Thank you once again sir for providing one of the pieces that will be used tonight."/color] The receptionist recited, revealing what Zane's surprise was, all the while he would flash a bigger and bigger grin at Julie as he watched her reaction, knowing it was probably beyond whatever expectations she had set. Regardless with check in complete Zane would turn and lead Julie out of the building down the sand where their own private cabana laid set up for them in the center of the beach.

To be honest, that one was a bit of a trap. Julie expected her fellow influencer to respond with some boast about how she'd be hopping all over his dick by the time the night was over. Which, ew. But he didn't. Instead, he took her to the front building. The second the receptionist reviewed his ID, the staff of the Akiya beach resort took them on a whirl. All-access wristbands, a private cabana, and all the food, drink, and entertainment their heart desired. He'd really gone all out.

The cherry on top was when they actually brought them out to the cabana. It had one of the best views on the whole beach, and it was strategically placed right in between the docks and sheds that held their amenities, as well as the coastline. It was a little far from the main buildings, but that was probably by design. Having to wait for her next serving of Prosecco was well worth it.

Julie whistled. "Okay, Mr. Lambert," she said with a tone of surprised approval. "So you can throw money around. Maybe even throw a little bit of a party. Not bad. But if the young socialite act was all it took to woo me, I'd have been hitched to some asshole years ago." She urged him ahead with her still-linked arm. "What I'm saying is: You've shown me what cards are up your sleeve. Now it's time to see if you'll play your cards right." The challenge was clear: Zane had his foot in the door, at least enough for Julie to give him a shot. What he did from there was up to him.

Let it be said that when Zane needed to he was more than capable of throwing his money around to make a good impression, even if his default personality usually left a bad one. But in this case more than any other he was certainly willing to use any and all tools at his disposal to turn Julie's perception of him around and finally get her in more.. intimate space.

Naturally though Julie was an incredibly hard partner to get, she was incredibly sexy yes, but also smart, sophisticated, classy, and most importantly she had a huge distaste of him. As such he had to be all the same things if he was to have any chance at all and so far it looked like he was making good headway there.

Smirking at her challenge after seeing their cabana he would nod before stepping around to stand in front of her, placing a hand on her hip in a tasteful manner that while bordering on too much just wasn't yet."Well Julie in that case.. I'll put my cards in your hands, I may have won this day with you but its your day, all this is for you after all... So tell me what does her grace want to do first?" Zane said, surrendering power to her, figuring that may be the best route for opening that door a bit more.
