There is a consistent margin between the compatibility of Alice's ideas and principles with those of her boss about what can and cannot be done with the faction. They almost always mesh. And this time, And this time, it was one of those times when it stayed that way.

Alice was sitting on the opposite side of the desk. Going over the agreement for the thousandth time to keep everything fresh on both sides. Sliding her finger along the edge of her forehead to tuck one of her brunette locks behind her ear to keep her hairstyle as immaculate as possible. She wore a white T-shirt under a dark cloth jacket, a matching tight knee-length skirt, and black heels. Her hairstyle was so bushy that a stray strand could ruin her presentation. One might think. However, the strands that had escaped only made her look more radiant and, to some extent, gave a glimpse of that wild side of her that goes into the ring to entertain and be entertained.

Her reddish gaze was barely covered by simple glasses, she slid her pupils over each page minutely, to contemplate and search for any comma that wasn't there before. But there was nothing new.

She would plant the pages on her side of the table and move the talk forward while adjusting her glasses.

"Very well then, are you completely in agreement with what we're asking for?" She would inquire with her neutral tone and deterrent to deviations from the topic that brings them together today, serenely raising her eyes to the one person across the desk, ready to go over or append whatever the other woman wanted to attach to the agreement and favour; though being subtly dominant with the position of her body with her back as straight as the back of her seat, but not resting on it, or her hands about to come together to cross her fingers. Her breathing was so slow that it didn't tone with that executive jacket. Nothing about her seemed willing to socialise and she was attentive to what Maria had to say.
