Brianna smiled a little wider as she hung close by her husband's side, thinking back on all the happy memories the two of them had made over the years - and when she looked back to see Stella and Macy waving to them, she was reminded all the more of the happy family they'd all become, which stood as a testament to their success. Now, they were eager to welcome that same happiness and good fortune to Astrid and William. She stood a little taller as she took her place by Jonathan at the front of the aisle, turning her attention toward where Astrid would soon make her entrance.
Sheila, meanwhile, was all the more eager to hear how Hank had taken notice of her boundless enthusiasm. With a smile spreading wider across her face, she nodded her head. "Oh, yeah! You should see some of my matches! I know a lot of neat high-flying tricks that they haven't even taught us yet. I taught myself back in Australia when we were wrestling in the backyard!" She puffed out her chest, beaming with pride. "I wiped out a lot at first, and it kinda hurt...but I think it was worth it!"
Of course, as soon as the music began to play, everyone's attention was fixed on Astrid as Lars gently led her by the hand down the aisle. The Heavyweight Champion who had once commanded cheers every time she appeared at the entrance ramp now had every eye in the cathedral fixed on her, and everyone had gone silent, not wanting to so much as take a breath in the face of such a monumental occasion. The only one who spoke a word was Lars, who leaned in closer to whisper in his daughter's ear.
"You look beautiful, Astrid," he said. "I'm so proud of you. Not just for coming this far in your career...but for everything."
Astrid blushed a little harder; even when her veil covered her face, she still lowered her head to the ground out of instinct at the thought that people might notice her. But she came to the altar, and as she did, she lifted her head to face William. Her smile grew wider behind the veil, and she gripped the boquet tighter in her hands with anticipation. Molly, too, grinned wider, leaning in closer to Harmonia. She could barely contain her excitement. It was really happening!

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
The moment had come for the couple at last. The whole reason they gathered their respective families here. Astrid and William would finally tie the knot as William saw his soon-to-be wife making her way down the aisle about to be handed off by her father. As Astrid reached closer, William took her by the hands and nodded towards Lars as he took a look at the beautiful blonde in front of him. Astrid may have had her competitive prowess and prideful nature, but she knew when to look girlie as William smiled at her. He lifted her veil before turning to the priest.
“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate a momentous occasion. The ceremony of matrimony between William Ashworth and his beloved, Astrid Ostberg. I shall allow the couple a moment to say their vows before the rings are dispersed. Ms. Ostberg, you may begin,” The priest began saying as he opened his book.

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
Now, as Lars stepped aside and Astrid moved forward to take her place at the altar, the Norsewoman's heart was pounding in her chest. She had seen many exciting moments in her career. There was beginning her training, the first time she'd ever set foot in the ring, joining a major promotion for the first time and taking her career internationally, and of course, winning the LAW Heavyweight Championship...but this was up there with all of them. In just a few short moments, she and her fiance would be married, with all of the friends and companions the two of them had made over the course of their careers watching and cheering them on. Her fingers coiled even tighter around her boquet to try and keep herself from shaking too much - but even still, when William lifted her veil, Astrid looked back at him with a bright smile. Her cheeks flushed, but when their eyes met, hers alighted with a sparkle of hope for the future, and happiness to come.
"I shall," Astrid began, nodding her head - and at that point, she chuckled a little, a few cracks showing in her composed image. She couldn't help but be just a little nervous - how could she not, with something that meant this much? Still, she continued, clearing her throat. She didn't rehearse her vows for nothing, after all. She had given plenty of speeches in her run as a champion, and she had prepared for this occasion just as carefully.
"There's a record from an old Viking speech - 'There shall be one end for us both; one bond after our vows; nor shall our love aimlessly perish. Happy am I to have won the joy of such a consort; I shall not go down basely in loneliness to the gods of Niflheim.' And now, a thousand years later...I think I feel the same way. I never intend to leave your side, William. I want the two of us to stay together forever, and to keep forging a better future side by side. In the time since I've known you, I've already seen so much growth, and so much happiness. I've gone places I never could have dreamed of, and I know it's only the beginning. I want the happiness I've known with you to keep shining bright, for both of us. I can't help but admire all your hard work, your dedication, and above all your loyalty - and I promise to honor that with the fullness of my heart. I want to be there to support you when you need me, to lift you up and to help you be the best person you can be. I'm so grateful for everything you've done for me, all the love and care that you've shown - and I'll do all I need to to treat you in kind."

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
William listened to Astrid’s vows blushing a little bit as he wasn’t good with the sappy moments. He still couldn’t believe that Astrid wanted to be with him of all people, but the last three years proved something to him. Even if Astrid was at the height of her popularity and had many adoring fans, she saved her passionate love for him and her accepting his proposal proved that much. William was then overwhelmed with the set of eyes on him as it was his turn. He barely memorized his vows as he was more of a “in the moment” guy so he just went off what he could remember.
“Ahem. Those words were beautiful, Astrid. On that fateful day, when you accepted my proposal to a date, December 2019, I knew this was going to be a match made in the heavens. Well, I didn’t know….but it’s the thought that counts as they say. We still had work to do. Anyway! When you won the LAW Heavyweight Championship, I was ecstatic watching you raise that belt and continue the family legacy. Your European Tour was great! We got to travel the world together and went on great dates. Even when we had to distance apart after awhile, I made sure to work for everything leading up to this moment. I bought the ranch for us, I had Moni help me buy the ring, and me and your dad made this day happened. I never want to leave your side, because….you make me better. Yeah, I’m scatterbrained and reckless, but you took a chance on a farm boy from the sticks and that’s been the thing about you I love the most on top of the many other things. This is where we belong. Together. Forever,” William explained.
“Thank you both. Now, if there is anyone who believes these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace,” The priest stated.
“Yeah, I think everyone here is in agreement to these two getting married,” William’s mom interjected right afterwards.
“Thanks, Mom!” William praised.
“Then, do you William Ashworth take Astrid Ostberg to be your lawfully wedded wife? To cherish your love together and to take care of her till death do you part?” The priest asked William.
“I certainly do,” William spoke softly as he grabbed the ring and slipped it on Astrid’s ring finger.
“And do you Astrid Ostberg take William Ashworth to be your lawfully wedded husband? To cherish your union together and to take care of him till death do you part?” The priest asked as he turned to Astrid.

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
When William complimented Astrid on her speech, she couldn't help but blush a little bit - but she still smiled. As a champion, she was a representative of the company as a whole, and that was a duty she took with great responsibility. She had given plenty of speeches at press conferences and publicity events, and she had made plenty of announcements in such a capacity. She'd put a lot of thought and effort into making sure she would have the perfect speech prepared, and now, she could see all of that had paid off. Now, though, it was William's turn. Though he was a little more spontaneous, Astrid was nonetheless eager to hear what he had to say - and when he began to speak, her smile grew wider as she leaned her head in closer in a bow of reverence. William knew how important all of this was to Astrid, and to hear him recognize that now was truly an honor. To think of how much he was willing to put in to make their relationship work, in spite of their busy schedules and commitments across the globe, told her this was important to him, too. And when she thought about how he had arranged for their new dream home, how he wanted to make this moment a special one for her, Astrid knew that she meant everything to William. Tears began to tickle the corners of her eyes as she nodded again - this time, in agreement to every word. She could never imagine anyone she would rather be with.
And then came the time to accept the rings. This was it - it was really happening. Astrid thought she had prepared for this - she'd prepared her speech, she'd been over everything with all her friends and family, and she had, of course, been thinking about the big day for hours on end in the leadup to the event. And yet, when she felt the ring slip around her finger, her heart thumped harder in her chest. After she had known William for so long...the two of them would finally become something more. And the rest of their lives would be theirs to live together.
Astrid looked down at her hands, her gaze lingering on the sight of it - there was the ring, glittering on her finger. She could feel something swell deep inside of her then, and the tears welled up even stronger now. But she couldn't let them fall. She stood straighter, facing William. She still had her work to do - and now, as the priest announced, now was the time.
"I do," Astrid said, with a professional nod. She too took the ring, moving to slip it onto William's finger.

As the rings were dispersed and placed on both fingers, this told the priest to end the ceremony with the final declaration. He smiled as he closed his book and did a prayer for both bride and groom before going to finish the process.
“Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride,” The priest stated.

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
And with that, it was official. Astrid and William were married - their relationship, one that went beyond LAW, beyond Astrid's championship reign, and that had been several years in the making, had finally paid off. They had come a long way since they first met, not only in their wrestling careers but in their lives - since they met, they had gone on to achieve greater success and accomplishment than they ever could have thought possible, with William spearheading the Reformation and bringing new opportunities for all its members through multiple promotions around the world, and Astrid securing her lifelong goal of proving herself among the greatest wrestlers alive with her successful LAW Heavyweight Championship match. And they had gone from merely dating once in a while, to making plans about the future - to finally marrying.
It was William who had been given the order to kiss the bride, but it was Astrid who didn't hesitate. Everything she'd ever dreamed of having one day had come true. She tossed her boquet over her shoulder before grabbing onto her new husband by the shoulders, pulling him in close, and planting a passionate kiss on his lips. When she let out a breath and allowed herself to relax against him, she breathed out the relief of any anxieties, fears, or worries she might have had leading up to this moment. Now, she knew, everything was going to be all right.
Everyone burst into cheers and applause, congratulating the happy couple on their success. In fact, they were so focused on Astrid and William that nobody realized that when Astrid threw her boquet aside, it had landed in the hands of her maid of honor - none other than Molly Forster. Molly looked down at the boquet in her hands, her eyes wide and her mouth agape. Her whole body trembled with excitement. While she wasn't all that superstitious...she knew exactly what that meant. And with a grin on her face, she hopped back up, looking toward Harmonia. She hopped up and down eagerly - she simply couldn't help it; she couldn't contain herself!
"MONI!! Moni, look!!"

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
There were no words to describe this wonderful occassion. Harmonia, tears flowing over her cheeks, watched these two dedicated lovers, fellow wrestlers...friends even, seal their pact for life. The blonde beauty sniffled and needed more then one handkerchief trying to wipe away all the tears of joy she had in her eyes. It was the day of days for everyone here. She saw the smiles, heard the cheers and laughter and suddenly she knew that now was the perfect time to make a little announcment herself.
But before she could do anything, the bouquet came flying and considering her plan , she or Molly had to catch it. Obviously the Bunny was'nt in on her plans and so it was down to luck or Monis athletic abilities , not to lose the perfect way to do something she had planned for a quite a while now. Resting in her purse was a little box, containing nothing else then a shining ring. A ring only one person in this universe waa supposed to wear.
Harmonia was so caught in her warm and fuzzy thoughts tough, that she totally forgot what was happening and suddenly the bouqet made its way high up over their heads. Considering Astrida strength it flew high in the air, right over all the other women who waited on their chance to grab it. //Tough luck you hyenas!//",Harmonia thought as she got ready to fight over the flower arrangment if necessary. But before she could move a flash of blonde and red appeared before her eyes and with a cheer and a bright smile, Molly held it between her fingers.
Harmonias eye twitched as she dropped to her knees. "Carrot, you are one of a kind...",she smirked before she realized that now was the perfect timing. "Attention!Attention, please!",Harmonia shouted as the guests stopped the cheering to look at the Blonde who slipped to one knee, shifting her position so she was directly at Mollys feet. "I don't want to draw away any attention from our beautiful couple and if you feel so then I am terribly sorry. But my grandmother always told me that two good messages are better then one.",the Ex-Model said and reached for Mollys hand.
"Molly Forster, two years ago the both of us met and fell in love with each other. We fought through tough times, we fought through great times but the most important thing to me was that you were always by my side. Never doubting me, never questioning me. You stood by my side even if you knew that the outcome maybe was'nt favourable. You moved in with me and helped creating something that I gladly call "home" again. You, you are my home Molly, wherever you are. In good and bad times, even if we are separated, my heart will be your harbour.",she said as more tears flew down her cheeks.
"Together we formed the Superstars and the whole world of wrestling now knows our names and what we are about. We are a team in and outside the ring. Now please, let...let me take the next step in becoming a team and...",Harmonia said as she reached into her purse and presented the box on her hand, opening it so everyone could see the beautiful ring.
"So please, Molly Forster, my love, my life, my everything...will you give me the honor of becoming my wife?",the Austrian asked and looked directly into Mollys big, blue eyes as the whole room sucked in their breath, waiting for the englishgirls reaction...

Re: The Official Ostberg-Ashworth Wedding (Open Thread)
It was a tradition as old as any other when it came to the wedding ceremony - whoever caught the bride's bouquet would be next to be married. And of all the friends and family of William and Astrid alike who were in attendance, there was perhaps no other couple more enthusiastic than Molly Forster and Harmonia Edelstein. They might have met by a stroke of luck, in a match that no one believed would lead to anything important, but the two of them had swiftly emerged as a prominent power couple that was making waves in LAW and beyond as one of their top rising tag teams. Ever since they'd officially started dating, they had been inseparable. Molly, of course, was more than flattered to have the gifts and praises that Harmonia heaped on her, but more than that, she was happy to share in the Austrian's company, and to know that even to a woman who seemed to have everything in the world, she was what Harmonia needed to truly feel complete. It was only to be expected that she would be eager to take their relationship further - and when she caught the bouquet in her arms, she practically fainted from the rush! This, it seemed, was a vindication of everything she and Harmonia had been working toward - a sign that their relationship truly was meant to be! She could hardly sit still with such excitement in the air!
But Harmonia, it turned out, was just as thrilled - and just as prepared. When she broke into her speech, Molly's jaw dropped - for as close as she was to Harmonia, she had no idea that she'd had this up her sleeve. Every word she said left a blush coming to her cheeks, growing deeper and deeper, yet it also made the corners of her lips grow wider into a bright smile as her heart pounded in her chest - to think that she was the one to inspire Harmonia's words like this. When Harmonia took her hand, Molly drew even closer; she looked up into her eyes, and her own sparkled with joy even as they welled up with tears from all the emotions that were building inside of her. "O-Oh, Moni..." she began, "I'm...I'm sorry I don't have anything this beautiful to say to you, but-!"
Whatever the case was, however...Harmonia had something else to show Molly, something even greater and more heartfelt than any speech could ever be. When she produced the box, Molly was already agape. But when she saw what was inside...for a moment, Molly could've been convinced she was dreaming.
Harmonia had barely been able to finish her sentence - but Molly didn't hesitate. Without another word, the Englishwoman all but pounced on Harmonia, throwing her arms around her to draw her into a tight embrace! "YES!! Yes, Moni, of course I will! Ever since the moment we decided we'd actually be serious about this...to move forward with you has always been my greatest dream! You truly make me feel like someone worth all your attention, and...and the fact that you care so much about me, so much more than I ever thought I deserved, makes me happier than I could ever think to put into words! I couldn't even imagine how wonderful a wedding to you might possibly be, and...and..."
It was just then, with tears in her eyes, that Molly realized this was all taking place at someone else's wedding. As a blush lit up across her face, she drew back from Harmonia and cleared her throat before looking back and forth. "E-Er, sorry, Astrid..." she said with a nervous chuckle. "I didn't mean to steal your big moment..."
But Astrid only shook her head, looking to Molly with a warm smile on her face. "No, no," she said, "you're happy - and that's all that should matter. I'm proud of both of you. I know how much this means for you...and you deserve it."
Chelsea, meanwhile, was fighting the urge to tear up herself. She looked up, briefly meeting eyes with George, but there she blushed a little harder and shrank back as she covertly went to wipe her eyes. She wasn't going to get weepy like this. Not even George was going to see that. She was better than that. But to see her sister this happy...well, it warmed her heart, and she couldn't help it.
But Harmonia, it turned out, was just as thrilled - and just as prepared. When she broke into her speech, Molly's jaw dropped - for as close as she was to Harmonia, she had no idea that she'd had this up her sleeve.
