"Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines vs Bernadette "The Bomb" Nobel

Bernadette was left in a tough position as the Amazon left her sandwiched in between her own body and the steel steps leaving Bernadette trapped with next to no way for escape. The brunette was saved for just a brief moment as her legs shot up on their own accords hitting the heavyweight dead in the chest giving Bernadette just a split second to breathe. Now that Alaina was off of her, Bernadette let out a light sigh of relief no longer having a horse dumped on top of her. The bomb weakly coughed and wheezed as she extended her arm back trying to grip onto the ropes to help prop herself back to a sitting position. Right as she was sitting up normally the dazed heel opened her eyes and saw Alaina coming straight towards her as her jaw dropped as she was utterly frozen. "How the hell is able she able to run like that!?" Bernadette thought to herself a chill shudder went down her shoulder as while she tried to pull on the rope as leverage; she just barely got hit in square in the chest! The bombs eyes popped out in pain as her body jolt bending over on Alaina's arm as all of the wind was knocked straight out of her chest leaving her gasping for air.

Bernadette would need time to nurse herself from the pain, but it would be time Alaina wouldn't give her as against her own will Bernadette was being pulled on by Alaina as with one foot after the other, she was going down the steel steps as if she were Alaina's puppet with the bomb's eyes dead center on where Alaina was planning to send her. "No no NO!!" Bernadette breathed out unsarcastically fearful as Bernadette knew another head shot to the barricade could give Alaina what she needed to possibly win and the bomb was terrified of that idea. She had built her career on being a dominating rookie crusher and genius when it came to poking the nerves and insecurities of established wrestlers, using any skeletons in their closet to her disposable to help give her the victory but Alaina didn't fear any of her skeletons and was deadest on putting Bernadette six feet under and the mere thought of something overcoming Bernadette's tactics shook her to her very core. The bomb HAD to figure a way out of this hopeless endeavor but then right as she was pulled off the last step with a face of fear splashed on her face, the bomb's flight or fight kicked in once again as without any thought her free arm pulled back to swing across and give a forearm strike of her own to Alaina's neck, it was as if Bernadette's whole body was doing whatever it could for the heel to not take her first true defeat in LAW!

Alaina was trying to whip Bernadette into the barricade but as she tried to do so she was clubbed down across the neck! Alaina let go and stumbled a moment hobbling as she was stunned just enough for Bernadette to act! Alaina's momentary haze gave Bernadette time to counter and fight back, something Alaina was trying to avoid. This did not bode well of the amazon as she was hoping to absolutely bury her opponent tonight.

Right as it seemed hope was being lost on the heel, Bernadette's flight or fight kicked in at just the last second as her arm swung and clubbed Alaina right below her neck chest breaking the grip Alaina had on her. The bomb stumbled a bit upon release trying to spread out her arms to keep her balance before she caught herself taking a second to lean forward and press her hands against her knees to let out a sigh of relief. "Whew... what happened back there...?" Bernadette muttered not fully understanding what just occurred as her body heaved in and out trying to catch her breath. "She almost got me..." Bernadette thought to herself as her breathes became heavier with each new one she took trying to process it all. The bent over bomb pulled her head up brushing away the hair covering one of her eyes and there she saw Alaina stunned from the blow she just received. "I can't let that happen again. My pride as the leader of The Harbingers will not allow some washed up retirement home mom to prevent me from reaching what I deserve!" Bernadette added on to herself as she began stand up straight as she began to clench her fist and teeth in anger. Ever since she was a kid Bernadette dreamed of being in a promotion like this, one where she can fully show off her mic and in ring skills to crush whoever was in her way of standing at the top and now what was preventing her was some fifty-year-old veteran who didn't know the meaning of retirement. If Bernadette wanted to make her mark in the wrestling world it will be tonight, she is going to end her career for good.

The one problem was just a second ago Bernadette was still reeling from the aftershocks of her opponent, Alaina may be an old hag, but she knew how to slam a girl like Bernadette into place. "First thing I need to do is slam hit her hard and then get back into the ring to recover. If I mess up this attack who knows what Alaina will strike back with. I can't just spam attack after attack I need to slam when the opportunity presents itself and then recover. So, if that's what will it take then so be it!" Bernadette thought of a new strategy to end the Amazon's career. After what seemed like forever Bernadette let out a battle cry straight into the air as she began to run over to the stunned Amazon aiming to reach out and grip her by the hair once again! "LETS SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT!!!" Bernadette shouted angrily into the Amazon's eardrums as she pivoted her footing to swing her straight into the barricades letting out a roar of exertion to get some payback from earlier!

Alaina felt herself grabbed by the hair and before she could try to escape or counter she was thrown hard against the barricade! Alaina crashed into them and fell to the floor at the foot of the barricade, groaning in pain. She shook her head, trying to fight through the pain as she tried to push herself up to her feet. She was still in pain and hurting, trying to stop herself from being run down but Bernadette still had the initiative and position to pounce further hammering Alaina.

It was a position Alaina had been trying to avoid but Bernadette was successfully fighting back against the older amazon.

Bernadette had two options upon seeing a stunned Alaina, she could either go in and go for a powerful hit, or she could take the chance to make some distance between her and Alaina and recover from her injuries. At first Bernadette considered the latter, after all from what just experience Alaina hits like a truck so being grabbed by Alaina wouldn't be ideal in her condition, but at the same time Bernadette knew she couldn't let Alaina get away with humiliating her from before, Bernadette HAD to show the world she wasn't afraid of a woman close to retiring even if it put the heel at risk as well.

With that being said the bomb rushed in and against all odds tossed Alaina headfirst into the barricade! "OHHH GOD!!!!" Some audience members gasped being taken aback by the brutal display from Bernadette whereas after sending Alaina headfirst into the bomb let out a sigh of proud relief seeing the vet in a heap of agony on the mat. "I should hammer away at her, but damn it I know Alaina she could counterattack if I make a wrong move. It might be best to get in the ring and recover for right now." Bernadette thought to herself slightly annoyed she has to make a retreat for the time being, but it was better to be safe than sorry. "Well Alaina enjoy being counted out!" Bernadette shot back up playing up her usual theatrical voice as she blew a mocking kiss to the down veteran as she turned her face down to dust her boots off into Alaina's face for an extra bit of mockery before rushing back into the ring to make a recovery for right now. "HEY YOU!!!" Bernadette shouted pointing at the petite ref girl in the ring. "She's out! Start counting!" She added on in aggressive tone as the petite girl nodded going up to the ropes to get her eyes on Alaina and started to count her out. ONE... TWO...THREE....."

While the ref counted Bernadette made sure to savior this amount as she began to spread her arms out with a bright glowing smile whipped across her face gesturing to the audience. "Say goodbye to Alaina y'all!!!" She laughed soaking up the boos and attention she was getting as some members began to chant on hoping for Alaina to get up in time whereas Bernadette, she was taking deep breathes in between her mockery to the crowd hoping to recover just enough in case of Alaina making a surprise comeback.
