The crowd was rowdy tonight. The Queen's Decree supercard looked to be a promising one, and the next match on the list seemed particularly exciting: a battle between a Wrestle Angels veteran, and another LAW veteran with a long history of MMA and kickboxing experience. The fact that this was also going to be a hardcore match made things even more exciting: both of these ladies were skilled and experienced, both had plenty of raw power to call upon, and both were known for being absolutely determined to win, no matter what. This promised to be an intense, brutal match, and neither woman was likely to walk away from this fully intact.

Before long, the first competitor's theme music sounded, causing the audience to burst into excited cheering.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for ONE fall!
Introducing our first competitor,
From Edinburgh, Scotland,
The Noble Fighter of the Wrestle Angels,
EMILY NELLLLSSOOOOOOOON!"

The crowd burst into cheers at that moment as Emily Nelson entered the arena. Calm and aloof, the Scotwsoman strode relentlessly down the ramp, looking utterly confident as she made her way to the ring. Sliding under the ropes, Emily made her way to the center and extended her arms outwards, taking in the cheers of the audience around her.

Emily had never been the biggest star in Wrestle Angels. To be fair, she still didn't have the same name recognition that someone like Mighty Yukiko or Panther Risako still had, but that didn't change the fact that she had gained a fanbase and a following here in LAW that she had never had in Wrestle Angels. Smiling, Emily dropped her arms to her sides again and folded them across her chest, turning back to the ramp as she waited for her opponent to arrive...

Queen's Decree. Roxy wasn't really sure what to make of it. A supercard event was always something, but she wasn't exactly someone who cared much if it was a normal match or a main event. Though the difference was usually in the money that she could make from the fight, and that was the main reason she had accepted the match that management had laid out for her, that and boredom had set in...well, if she was honest she could satiated that any other which way, she had taken an interest in her opponent.

It wasn't often you got to face one of those former wrestle angels. Something which Roxy had recently found to be an interesting prospect. There were some rather tasty treats among that derelict roster of so-called talent. The Noble Fighter - Emily Nelson. Roxy had taken a brief moment on the ride over here scrolling through her career a little, and she had gotten fairly interested. She figured it could be a fun time to break in this oh so noble combatant.

From Chicago, Illinois!!!
The Conqueror!
ROXY ASHWORRRTHY!"

Roxy stepped out onto the ramp, she was dressed in what had become her new outfit to wear to the ring. Something which almost looked more like a gym gear than a proper wrestling attire. Black sports bra, black yoga pants both with the same green sweeping streak across the right side. She had black gloves and black gym shoes, but there was one adornment. The solid red judo belt. Or rather, solid except for the eight-sided mirror emblem and some golden kanji. Roxy's music hit the second she stepped out onto the ramp, and she was received by a chorus of boos. Flashing a smirk on her face as she walked down the ramp and headed to the ring, she rolled in under the bottom ropes and then sprung up to her feet.

There was no fanfare or attention given to the crowd beyond that smirk she threw their way, no she walked right up to Emily, her eyes trailing up and down as she closed the distance. Upon reaching the Noble Fighter, she reached out and cupped Emily's cheek with her right hand, trying to turn the head from left to right to get a proper look at her, as if she was inspecting an animal for purchase. "Hmm. Yeah you'll do." Roxy mockingly spoke out as she would then try to shove that head back away from her to try and create some distance between them.

Truth to be told, Emily had done some digging on her soon-to-be opponent before this match. Unfortunately she had found little. Little, that was, other than the fact that Roxy Ashworthy came from a strong MMA background. That, and she had a reputation for ruthlessness here in LAW. That suited Emily fine: she had dealt with other heels before, and whoever Roxy was, Emily doubted she held a candle to the likes of Freia Kagami, Dark Star Chaos, and all the others she had run across back in the old league.

But now her opponent entered the arena, accompanied by a chorus of boos. She was broad. She was powerful, her skant outfit showing off layers of thick muscles. And she received a chorus of boos as she swaggered towards the ring.

It was Roxy who closed the distance between them once she entered the ring, striding towards Emily and immediately cupping her chin like she was inspecting a prize horse. Emily's eyes widened a little at this brazen act; her hand immediately moved of its own accord, slapping her green-haired opponent across the cheek with a ringing sting of skin on skin.

"Hands to yourself, cretin," she growled, before straightening up. "It seems I'll have to teach you some manners tonight."

Truth be told, Roxy was wondering how Emily Nelson matched up to the other Wrestle Angels. She'd seen them wrestle and even clashed with one here in LAW...she wondered if Emily Nelson would prove more of a challenge than the infamous Thunder Ryuko. So far, as she stepped up to the woman, she seemed as if she had the physique and demeanour of a capable combatant but...so did Thunder Ryuko.

When Emily's hand came up and slapped Roxy's cheek! The Greenette's head snapped to the side in an exaggerated manner. Of course her cheek stung, she pulled her hand away from Emily's face and brought it up to her own cheek to gently rub it.

"Feisty." Roxy spoke as she would turn her head back to smirk at Emily. " Though..." she began to speak, trailing off....before she would suddenly attempt a lighting fast raising of her knee to try and drive it into the breadbasket of the Scottish woman, aiming to deliver a sharp knee strike to that stomach! "Nothing that can't be beaten out of you."

Emily was incensed at just how touchy Roxy was getting at just before the start of their match. Her hand moved of her own accord, smacking Roxy hard across the cheek. The greenette was taken by surprise by the blow, and turned to look back at her, smirking at her even as she rubbed at her cheek. Something about Roxy's smirk set Emily even more on edge, and she was so, so tempted to just attack her here and now, waiting for the bell be damned.

Roxy, it seemed, didn't have these qualms.

Roxy's leg came shooting up, her knee hammering into Emily's abs. "UUAGH!" Emily cried, doubling over and clutching at her midsection. She took a few steps, gasping and heaving. Around them, more than a few members of the audience began to boo Roxy's heelish tactics.

And then, finally, the bell rang.

Roxy's knee moved swiftly up as it drove into the belly of the Noble Fighter! She reveled for a second in the sound of Emily's cry as she saw her foe double over in front of her. She would watch her gasp and heave for air for not too long before she began to move in. She decided to do things in a slightly more wrestling vibe to start things off, as she aimed to slip in behind the leotard clad woman!

The arms of the greenette would seek to snake around the waist of Emily Nelson and with a heave she would attempt to lift her up clean from the canvas as she swung them backwards with the goal to slam Emily down for a quick German suplex. One in which she would release said waist right after and move away and up, forgoing any attempts at a bridge!

A short, unladylike curse escaped Emily's lips as she doubled over, momentarily left out of breath by the Conqueror's vicious sneak attack. She was rapidly discovering just who Roxy Ashworthy was: a cur, a coward, a woman who cared nothing for the rules of the ring or for decent, honourable combat. In short, she was the sort of wrestler whom Emily hated the most.

She felt Roxy's arms tighten around her waist: the Noble Fighter would react quickly, twisting around to shoot an elbow back into Roxy's skull. If it was enough to make Roxy lose her grip, then Emily would try to follow up by grabbing for Roxy's arm and flipping her over her shoulder onto her back! Of course, if it failed to dislodge Roxy then Emily would likely eat a suplex...but either way she would show Roxy that this Scotswoman was not to be trifled with!

[Devastated]

The arms of Roxy snapped around that waist as she pressed her generous rack against the back of Emily, she bent her knees and lowered her center of gravity as she was about to lift Emily up and snap her backwards for that suplex, but it seemed she had underestimated how quickly Emily would recover from the knee to her belly! As the elbow of the Noble Fighter slammed into the side of her head, causing the greenette to grunt out and lose her grip for a second, and a second was all that Emily Nelson needed!

Her arm was ripped away from Emily's waist and she was instead thrown over her shoulder with a rather classic Seoi-nage throw! Roxy's back hit the canvas with a grunt, as she huffed out in annoyance, she was not happy about this at all. Perhaps she should have gone more aggressive and worn Emily down before leaning into the wrestling moves.

The Conqueror quickly rolled away, trying to create some distance as she would roll her shoulder a bit to make sure it was okay after that throw once she got up to her feet. "Feisty seems like a good description for you. A bit more bite than other Angels I've faced." Roxy huffed out as she pushed up to her feet, " Though any bad behaviour can be beaten out of a feral dog."

The crowd cheered at Emily's almost flawless counter. Roxy's brutal heel tactics were well known to the audience at this point, and a lot of them had wondered how well the Noble Fighter would deal with them. So far, the answer was quite well, as Emily decisively flipped Roxy with a well-executed Seoi-nage! To her credit, though, Emily didn't follow up after the downed Roxy: the Wrestle Angels veteran was clearly seasoned enough to know how dangerous a gambit that could be, and kept her distance, glaring daggers at Roxy as the greenette rose to her feet again.

As Roxy stared her down again, Emily grimaced at her comment about how she had faced other Wrestle Angels. "A mangy mongrel like you has no right to call others dogs," Emily replied crisply, motioning for a classic lockup. No tricks, no ulterior motives...but Emily was now all too wary of any trickery on Roxy's part.
