Match Type: Falls Count Anywhere
Other Details: This match takes place later in the event, after the custom ring has been unveiled, and Alix has already participated in her Hentai Roulette match.
When Bengal first heard the name of her opponent for the upcoming Queen’s Decree supercard, a sense of lingering familiarity stirred in the back of the Tiger’s mind. Still, she couldn’t place exactly where she’d heard the name before - not until she saw the promo images of herself and the other woman, posing side-by-side on large signs around Kyoto, to advertise the event. There was no mistaking that lustrous, wavy black hair and those mischievous brown eyes, although Bengal was more accustomed to seeing her sculpted figure naked, instead of clad in scarlet wrestling gear.
Alix “Sunshine” Jacques! She had always been one of Bengal’s favorite adult film actresses, although, as a privacy-minded woman, the Tiger didn’t exactly advertise that fact. She’d been introduced to Alix’s work by some teammates in the American indie leagues, where she began her wrestling career. After growing up with an intensely conservative family in Kolkata, watching Sunshine perform had been a revelation for Bengal. She hadn’t kept up with what the actress was doing these days, however, and seeing her here was unexpected.
Of course, given the sheer size of LAW’s middleweight division, she supposed that such surprises were bound to happen. There were probably a lot of women in her weight class that she hadn’t even met yet. Still, Bengal couldn’t help but wonder about Alix’s presence here specifically. The New York native had been so successful in her pornographic career. Why uproot everything and switch to wrestling? Was she just doing this for fun?
As someone who had been forced to scratch and claw for every inch of progress in her career, Bengal was annoyed by that. If Ms. Jacques was simply looking for a good time, she wouldn’t find one in the ring with the Tiger. At the same time, her bitterness was tempered by an undeniable attraction. She imagined Alix’s lithe body, pressed up against her own, just like she’d fantasized about so many times…Bengal turned away from the billboard, blushing. This was only a wrestling match, she reminded herself, not one of Sunshine’s videos. Back at her hotel room, she took an extra-cold shower.
The next day, the Tiger arrived at the KBS Hall for her match. The cozy, single-level building was a far cry from the vast arenas that LAW typically used, but the presence of middleweight champion Kyoko Akan lent the event a special prestige nonetheless. The Belly Queen had left her mark on the hall’s decor as well. Bengal was forced to pass under her intimidating banners as she made her way to the ring, the crowd packed close on either side of the aisle. The jet-black mat seemed to drink up the dappled light filtering through the stained glass windows. The Tiger’s
usual entrance music was playing, but it didn’t sound as impressive without a full arena sound system. She tried not to let it get to her, as she leaped onto the apron and ducked under the royal purple ropes.
The announcer’s voice boomed out:
"Attention, to all those who are here by the Queen’s Decree! The following contest is a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Introducing first…from Kolkata, India…standing five feet, seven inches, and weighing 140 pounds…THE BLAZE TIGER! BENGAL!”
The jeers for the career heel weren’t as loud as most of her appearances, but that was probably just a function of the smaller crowd size. Bengal yawned arrogantly, baring her ivory teeth, then took to her corner. Her amber eyes briefly scanned the many details of the stained-glass mural, before turning to search for her opponent.
