Daniel Haines vs Gloria Star — Standard Match (No Submissions)

Gloria may have been in pain, but that wouldn't stop America's number one superhero as she bit down hard on her lips as she pulled her shoulder out to pop it back into place! "Ahhhh.... that feels better." She grinned in relief as she rolled her arm in a clockwise motion as it felt good as new to her. The audience on the other hand were mixed as while some were impressed by Gloria's determination other heard and saw the muscle snap back into place causing an acid relax to come in for them as they covered up their mouths in disgust. That however didn't matter to Gloria, now that her shoulder was back into place the superhero had her sights on one man and that was the person who dislocated it. Gloria stared at Daniel as she rose up to a standing position and could get a picture of what was going through her cousin's head. Truth be told, Gloria wasn't mad at him, it was a simple mistake. While sure both of them always budded heads, at the end of the day they were still family and deeply cared for the others wellbeing. As such, Gloria took it upon herself to snap Daniel out of his funk, by making a direct challenge for him to face her outside the ring, to see what he could do from the outside with the security of the squared circle. Naturally this caught the audience's attention wanting to see what he would do and for a moment Gloria saw Daniel as frozen as a statue. "Come on Danny.... show everyone here the man who always out wrestled me when we were kids.... Show this crowd why you deserve to be here....." Gloria said to hoping with baited breathe that Danny accepts her challenge.

After standing there for a bit letting taking deep breathes to let herself recover, Danny finally made up his mind and walked towards the ropes. "I knew you wouldn't disappoint me...." Gloria let out softly to let Danny hear as her face turned to a gentle smile before an eager one as her eyebrows were pushed down with her eyes down as she was ready for action. As Danny got closer towards Gloria, the blonde would follow suit, raising her arms up like a boxer. Right when Danny was within range, Gloria tighten her fist and went to try and duck under his swing to send a punch strike of her own to abdomen!

Danny stepped up and swung, only for Gloria to dodge! He took the hit to the abdomen and grunted shaking his head as he tried to focus. He stepped back up swinging a forearm right at the jaw of Gloria trying to answer back and land a solid strike! He knew losing out here would give her momentum and at this point after the way the match went he wasn't sure if he would survive her getting another big momentum swing!

Gloria was excepting a brawl to occur between the two powerhouses once both were outside the ring. As such the American superhero was in your typical boxer stance keeping a keen eye for when Danny would strike. It wasn't long but once he did Gloria could only let out a light chuckle. "Even now that we're adults you still go for that." Gloria muttered as if she was excepting Danny to come out with a big swing just like when they were kids. Thanks to knowing Danny like the back of her hand, Gloria ducked and fired back with a precise punch straight to his abdomen! "They don't call me America's top hero for nothing, now try this!" After landing a successful blow, Gloria couldn't help herself by teasing her cousin playfully as she let her arms to drop down to be more relaxed as she gave Danny a playful wink. As she went to keep up the pressure however, Gloria went to try and secure another punch to Danny but was met with a brutal forearm strike right to her jaw! "GAUUUHHH!!!!" The superhero bellowed out in agony as her face as the knee made her face contort in agonizing pain as if a wave went across it from the impact alone! The charging superhero would steer off course from her direction sending her to the right of Danny. stumbling forward to the barricade, however right before her shoulder went colliding with another wall, the superhero tried to did her meet into the floor to try and slow down the impact and thankfully was able to, being able to wrap her arm around the barricade for support as she let her body heave in and out once more.

Now Gloria having her body lean forward as she held onto the barricade for support as she could feel the sweat dripping off her brow as she looked up seeing Danny standing tall."I almost got him....." Gloria thought to herself as she continued to heave her stomach before brushing her free hand against her jaw to wipe off the punch mark. "Do.... your worst....." Gloria muttered with a serious glare as she knew full well her being arched over wouldn't stop her cousin. If anything, she had just the idea, if Danny came in for another blow, Gloria would try to push herself away from the barricade to went a right hook of her own his jawline!

Gloria was slumped against the barricade and Danny was already on the move. He didn't want to give her any breathing room. He was zeroed in and trying to continue to pounce as he began to move right into a trap.

Danny moved in and was ready to swing but he was not caught off guard as he was smashed in the jaw! He staggered back on limp legs and nearly fell over. he shook his head ring to recover knowing that he was wide open. His best bet was trying to counter whatever Gloria had planned just as she had done to him. He knew she was expecting a shot to the face so he was going to try to kneel and thrust out a punch to the abdomen before popping up with a combo to her chest and face knowing he had to land enough hits to send her down to the floor and soon otherwise he was in trouble.

Gloria had her back against the wall both figuratively and literally as the American superhero had nowhere else to go but to fight her way out against an incoming Danny. The superhero had her eyes lasered focused on Danny if she wanted her plan to be a success, but once Danny stepped forward, Gloria weaved to the side and twisted her body to the side tensing up her right arm to connect a full force punch straight to her cousins jaw! The crowd popped with excitement as Gloria's punch had enough force to send Daniel stumbling back and nearly collapsing onto the floor of the arena. Gloria however stood there being circled around hearing the cheers from the audience as she panted heavily. "I knew LAW was the perfect place for me..." Gloria thought to herself basking in a moment with a gentle smile across her face. Even with Danny and Gloria slugging it out, sweating, and their muscles probably starting to ache, this is why Gloria wanted to be a wrestler, as despite everything seeing the smiles it brought to everyone made all of the hardship and pain worth it in the end. Right now Danny was staggering back and as such it gave Gloria the perfect opportunity to take her time as well before planting her feet firmly into the floor of the coliseum before fist bumping the air raising her index finger for all to see! "As the hero of Justice, it is my duty to bring joy and peace to everyone, even Daniel Haines!!!" The superhero bellowed out with everyone stopping their cheers to listen as she spoke before lowering her arm to point at Daniel, "I've enjoyed this, but now given your state I think it's time I end this. After all a true hero doesn't mercilessly beat on someone whose done, so I will end this here and now!!!!" Gloria added shouting out with pure grit and determination in her voice as her eyes looked down on Daniel like daggers.

Once she was done Gloria lowered her position setting up for a big finish as she let out a war cry charging at the down Haines with a face of a determined warrior ready to win! However once she was close enough to grab Daniel. "GRAHHH!!!!" Gloria sputtered out as all the momentum in her dash was cut off by a swift yet powerful punch to her abdomen leaving the superhero standing still as if a knife was pierced into her body. The gagging superhero didn't have much room to escape as Daniel would finish his combo with a fierce uppercut connecting with her chest and connecting to the superheroes face!!! "GAUHHH!!!" Gloria let out as the punch connected with her jaw flickering her head back and in turn causing Gloria to stumble back much like her cousin but this time as she stumbled back with her body off balance she fell back and was sent over the barricade and fell right into the stands right in front of the spectators feet!

A loud thud was heard as Gloria came crashing down again onto the floor of the coliseum as the crowd went silent in awe and concern. "Huah.....Huahhh....HUahhh..." Gloria wheezed out with shaking pants of air as her whole body was throbbing with pain unable to get up as her body needed time to recover. "Just.... a...second...." Gloria muttered out of breath from the altercation as she needed just a minute or two to rise back up to her feet before this Cinderella story reached midnight.

Danny wasn't known for flying, but he was also feeling a bit desperate. He had been around a while and finally getting to a big stage meant he had to sink or swim. If he lost this the chances of him getting on a PPV again in the next calendar year were incredibly slim.

He saw Gloria stumble and fall over the barricade and he knew that he had to do something to keep on the offensive. He ran at the barricade as quickly as he could and jumped. He cleared the barricade and did a small flip looking to use his speed and size to his advantage as he was attempting to do a senton from over the barricade down onto Gloria! He hoped it would work as it would leave him in a good spot to get his momentum going. If this failed? He was going to be in a precarious spot and would struggle to get out.

Laying down in a heap of pain in front of the audience and being left breathless was not exactly what Gloria had in mind for first ever PPV match in LAW, but it was the unfortunate reality the superhero found herself in at the moment. Everywhere was hurting for Gloria, she could feel the bruise marks that will likely stay for a couple of days even after this match is over with. "Come... on... Gloria.... get up..." Gloria panted out frustrated she couldn't push herself back up as the sweat was glistening from her brow. Even worse was, while she couldn't see it the fall caused a small cut on the on her side showing off some of her impressive figure.

However, as Gloria laid there exhausted, she could hear footsteps coming her way and instantly the downed superhero knew what was coming for! The blonde gasped as her eyes shot wide open as the footsteps got ever so closer to her, now there was no time for her to stand up, she had to either roll out of the way or get squashed trying! "Wait... for it...." Gloria whispered to herself as she began to have her arms pressed against the floor waiting for the right moment to for when Danny was in the air to enact her plan. Gloria peeled her back as far as it could go and once she saw from the corner of her eye Dany being air pound, she knew it was all or nothing with her plan as she had only a second left to do it! "ORAH!!!" Gloria let a cry of exertion as she went to push herself over to the side to have her back pressed against the outside of the barricade to dodge the senton bomb hoping against hope this will work or else it may spell the end for her!

Dan flew and leapt just in time to see Gloria move out of the way! He knew this would be bad and his landing on his back along with his head bouncing off the concrete confirmed it! He was dazed and the world was spinning as he struggled to regain his bearings. The landing was painful but the effect on his skull being rattled was the worst as he was flat on his back looking up at a spinning blurry world around him!

Gloria had only a spilt second to roll out of the way or else she'd be squashed underneath the weight of her cousin. The wounded blonde grunted and gasped as she managed to roll over right as Danny came crashing down right next to her! "Ohhhhhh..." The chant gasped in unison as some had to look away right as Daniel hit the floor with both wrestlers laying right next to each other. "Phew...." Gloria let out a small sigh of relief as she saw her cousin in the same predicament, she was only mere seconds ago. Now it was anyone's game as both were trying to regain their bearings. Gloria rolled back onto her back looking up face first at the ceiling as she took a moment to recover. In that moment, everything went silent for Gloria as wiped off the sweat from her brow before her arm fell to the side. All the superhero could do in that moment was just take a breather, a long and painful one as her body was sore, and if Gloria knew anything about her cousin, is it this was only the halfway mark given his endurance, so this would be the last chance she got to take it easy. Her breathes were long and slow as her entire body was heaving with every breathe as the rattled superhero turned her head over to look at Daniel. "Sorry...Danie....but...." Gloria muttered stopping midway through her speech to cough. "I....won't....lose..." She finished in a determined yet tired tone as Gloria knew one of them had to get up first, and she would do everything in her power to make sure it was her.

The superhero began to kick her legs out trying to get her feet on the concrete to begin the pull up. Sadly, it would take a few tries as Gloria was still aching with pain causing her to fall back down the first time causing her to shake from side to side. "Ugh.... Almost there..." The blonde moaned as reached her hand out to the top of barricade trying to use it as leverage to pull her back up. As she rise her legs were wobbling. "Almost got it..." Gloria panted as she could feel herself getting closer and closer to getting the lead, all she needed was a miracle as she kept her attention on her cousin waiting to see if he had any other tricks up his sleeve.

Danny was out. His vision was blurry and his head throbbing. That landing did a number on him for sure and he was trying to do whatever he could to get back up. Unfortunately for him as he sat up he flopped back in a heap to the ground. He rolled to his side and tried again only to fall to his hands and knees. Danny groaned and tried again this time collapsing back to his chest flat on the ground. This wasn't good. He grunted again pushing himself to his hands and knees, stable there at least. Now he had to get up but the chances of him rising before Gloria were practically none.
