Daniel Haines vs Gloria Star — Standard Match (No Submissions)

Gloria didn't have much time to make her next move. For all she knew Danny could've recovered in the time where she decided to play up for the audience's entertainment but thankfully when she turned around, Danny was still stunned giving her the chance to make her move! Without wasting a second Gloria would bounce off the ropes and managed to land a powerful lariat knocking Danny down to the canvas!!! The crowd popped with cheers as Gloria steadied herself after the blow had connected. After letting out a panted breath as she turned her attention down towards Danny as now the superhero of America had an idea on what to do next.

"Don't worry there Daniel.... There's still plenty more where that came from..." Gloria said to her opponent with her stopping in the middle of her sentence for a breather before raising her hand to wipe the sweat off of her head."Well would you look at that?" Gloria chuckled seeing all the drops of sweat on her palm before looking back down at Danny."We just started you got me to sweat... I knew you were the right opponent for me." Gloria added on complimenting Danny on his performance so far while trying not sound like they were related before Gloria grew her arm back. "As such, I know how I don't have to hold anything back... So I hope you're ready." Gloria said in an excited tone of voice that extrude confidence going from complimenting Danny to now having an excited smirk on her face as her eyebrows raised in excitement as well. "Well let's try this!" Gloria let out as she went to kneel down to try and get around Danny aiming to sit on back of the young coach aiming to put her arms around his neck for a simple but effective Camel clutch!!!

Danny was down and shook his head as Gloria talked. The comic book hero seemed to talk enough to cover the narration panels as well as the speech panels and if Dan wasn't in pain he would be smiling. However as he was rolled over he shot his arms up and thrashed to the side. He was trying to avoid being caught in the hold and Gloria may have given him too much time to recover! Danny was focused and trying to keep his arms from being held across her legs instead reaching up to grab at her wrists to try to pull them away from his chin.

Gloria had Danny down on the mat and could've continued the attack on him but unfortunately had to stop for a quick rest against the ropes. The match had already begun so Gloria couldn't believe that Danny was already making her sweat even if it was just a little. That being said it give Gloria to give Danny a moment of praise for his efforts in their bout so far as if she was narrating a comic book. When she was done the proud superheroine was ready to take the fight back to Danny to get him into a camel clutch hold.

As Gloria came down to sit on top of her opponent that's when things began to get tricky. Due to her taking time to talk it gave Danny the opportunity to get breathing room of his own as out of nowhere he grabbed onto Gloria's arms. "HUH!?" Her eyes and brow shot up in confusion as suddenly it became a tug of war between the two family members. "Oh? Is that how you wanna play!?" Gloria let out a bit giddy with excitement as she pulled backwards trying to break free from Danny's grip on her.

Danny wasn't looking to win a tug of war, he wanted to get her hands away from his chin to prevent the hold from being locked in. As soon as he felt her pulling her arms back he let go and rolled to the side to get her off of him. Danny shook his head and tried to rise to his feet as quickly as he could knowing full well she would be jumping up as quickly as possible.

Danny tried to surge forward as her as soon as he was up looking to hammer her with a clothesline again!

Both heavyweights were locked in tightly with each other, with Gloria just wanting to get out of the hold so she could have some room to follow up with a counterattack. The superhero would get her wish but not in the way she excepted as out of nowhere Dany suddenly released his grip on her causing the blonde face to contort in confusion as because of her pulling back, Danny letting go of her caused her to stumble back almost comedically pulling her arms out trying to keep her balance but to no avail. The titan of a woman fell back on ropes with her arms falling down to the side across the top rope preventing her full collapsing, but it wasn't the best look for the superhero, but she would quickly rebound aiming to push her body forward off the ropes to take the fight back to Danny. "I'm still not out yet"


Gloria let out as she made her charge back Danny. As she was catapulted forward, she was extending her arm out for a clothesline but much to her surprise Danny was already standing up and charging straight into her for a clothesline of his own. [color=#FFF00]"Hehe, bring it.."[/color] Gloria muttered as a competitive smirk grew across her face as now it was all about who would hit they're clothesline first and Gloria loved it! As they got closer and closer her eyes widen with excited as she went to swing her arm forward..... only to get hit!!!! "GAUCKKK!!! OMMPH!!!" As Danny's clothesline connected it felt almost like the world was in slow motion as she felt the arm smash strongly against her abs sinking right into them as she leaned her head forward spitting out her own spit before knocked clean on the canvas!!! THUDDD! A loud thud would be heard as Gloria connected with the canvas her body shot up in pain before falling back down against the floor. "Damn.... he still hits like a truck..." Gloria muttered letting out pants of air as her stomach was heaving slowly in and out. Come on Sophia.... get up..." Gloria thought to herself referring to herself by her actual name as she couldn't stay down too long before Danny sprang up on her. She turned her head over to the ropes and while wincing she raised her arm out to try and grab the bottom rope to try and pull her away from whatever Danny had up his sleeve next.

There it was. Danny knew if he could land a big hit he could get something going. Right now he had Gloria on the mat reaching for the ropes. He was going to keep the pressure up as he moved in behind her standing right over her. He reached down and wrapped his arms around Gloria's hooking her in a full nelson hold before jolting her up trying to lift her right into a dragon suplex to send her crashing down to the canvas! He had been working on moves like this with Tina Armstrong, and was all too happy to put them into practice in an actual match.

Gloria was in a terrible spot right now. After being on a roll finally getting to be in control over her relative in a wrestling match to now getting hit by a brutal clothesline which could turn the tide in his favor gave Gloria nothing but dreadful thoughts as she had to get away somehow. As soon as she saw the bottom rope she immediately began to fight through the pain reaching her arm out to grab it. "Almost got it..." She muttered clenching her teeth with her eyebrows narrowed down almost reaching the rope. Her fingers touched it before Danny got a hold of her! "AH NOO!!!" Gloria shouted out in frustration as she was pulled up by Danny her arm was pulled away too not being able to grab the bottom rope.


Now Gloria was yanked onto her feet in front of Daniel, the sudden whiplash caused Gloria's body to jerk a little bit forward before standing still. Everything had happened so fast her body was teetering a bit in a daze state. By the time she came around to her senses it was too late. "WHAT!? " She belted out in confusion as her face turned to fear within an instant. Danny was many things and strong was certainly one of them. Ever since they were kids Danny was the stronger of the two and even when Sophia hit the gym during her wrestling days of school, Danny's slams still hit like a truck and now as adults she'd have to take the full power of one of Danny's new moves without being able to do anything to stop him!!! Without missing a beat, the star-sprangled woman was hurled through the air with her hair flowing in a messy way until the giant superheroine collied with the mat!!! BOOOM!!! Just like that a loud thud was sent all across the ring as Gloria hit her upper back and neck first against the canvas causing her to spit out in pain before quickly rolling over until she was lying face first against the cold hard canvas..... "CAH!!!" Gloria spat out some spit as she opened her eyes with one twitching in pain. "Doesn't matter how old he gets.... he just gets stronger...." Gloria mumbled to herself about how stronger Danny as become as she rubbed the back of her neck that felt like it was on fire because of that slam. As she began to push her face up to look at what direction Danny was coming from, she began to grit her teeth still reeling from the impact. "I've never seen Danny use that one before... if that's the case... I need to be careful about whatever new moves he picked up on if I want to win...." Gloria continued to think to herself almost like the thought bubbles in a comic book page as she tried to push herself back while still feeling the stinging sensation that was surrounding her body from that dragon suplex. One thing was certain for Gloria, if she doesn't adapt to Danny's new slams.... then history between the two relatives would just continue to repeat.

Danny managed to stun Gloria and knew he had to keep moving. Always be on the attack, never stop. He was rising and pulled Gloria up by the arm already getting himself set up. He took a step towards the corner and tried to send Gloria running towards it at full speed! He took a deep breath then began to run after her lowering his shoulder. He hoped that Gloria would crash into the turnbuckle and slump for a moment allowing Danny to come running in full speed to smash his shoulder against her abdomen like a battering ram against a gate! Danny just had to put his plan into action now, that was always the tough part...

Gloria was doing everything she could to get out of the bad spot she was currently in. Through all the aching and sweating this superhero couldn't lay down and let Danny win again, especially with whole world watching this match. As she pushed herself up, Danny was quick get the lead as she felt his arm pulling her up to a standing position!"AH! Not again!" Gloria said to herself letting out a gasp of fear as she winced from the arm drag. When Gloria was standing tall she knew she couldn't just stand around and let Danny push her around like a training dummy, even with the pain she was still a champion across the globe and had to show it."OH NO YOU DON'T!!!" Gloria's face tighten into a serious gritty look as she tried to send an elbow shot to Danny's chest but right before she could something happened."WHAT!? NOO!!!" Gloria yelled out as she was just a second short of hitting Danny that one second gave Danny all the time he ended to set up for his next move as she felt her body being pulled back only to be catapulted forward into the turnbuckle at full stream!!!

Gloria might be a superhero wrestler, but speed would certainly not be her superpower as she ran in full throttle unable to prevent herself from colliding face first into the turnbuckle! THAWCK!!! A loud thud could be heard as she hit the turnbuckle causing her neck to snap back as she raised her arm up to cover her forehead. "Ah! I can't see a thing...." Gloria let out in annoyance as the hit left her vision blurry as she began to turn around with her body shuffling back and forth not being able to stand still. Before her vison was cleared, she saw a blurry image of something coming towards her and before she could process it... "GARRRHHH!!!" She spat out her spit as much like a knife Danny's shoulder dug into her abdomen. The hit was so strong Gloria bend forward with her head hung low as all she could do was stumble back clutching her abdomen as fell back against the turnbuckle.

"Damn.. it..." Gloria breathed out as she laid against the bottom of the turnbuckle heaving her stomach in and out fast as one of her eyes was twitching from the pain. There was no way this match could end this quickly, Gloria was putting her all into this and yet even with the amount of training Danny was still caught up with her in terms of in ring abilities. Now everyone was more glued than ever to this match to see how it would unfold as Gloria took a glance and saw her parents watching with deep concerned looks on their faces."I... can't... give up..." Gloria let out with panted breathes as she couldn't lose the match like this but unfortunately there was nowhere to run. Danny was right in front of her with her back against the wall how could this superhero escape a grim fate?

Danny rammed into Gloria at full speed knowing he needed to land hits like this to chip away at the woman. Now he had to follow up and he had an idea that was not part of his usual offense. He stood up and grabbed Gloria, lifting her up and getting her in a seated position up on top of the turnbuckle. It was time to go big and send her crashing to the mat with authority. He began climbing the ropes in front of her trying to perch up top, while bending down to wrap his arm around her head. It was clear he was positioning himself to pull off a superplex, now all he had to do was get his feet set and lift.
