He gritted his teeth and pushed. Physically? Himself onto all fours on top of...this also constantly swaying pile of garbage. The whole world underneath him was moving. And mentally? He felt like he'd been run over by a truck.
But he had to move. And do his best to quell those thoughts that he may have woken up too late. It had to be a good thing that he woke up alone in this...dumpster. Where the hell is he?
Severin knew that he could be anywhere. Kidnappings were a common occurrence in LAW. One detail among many that doesn't show up on the fine print.
He dragged himself out of the dumpster, falling hard onto cold, unforgiving concrete. In his condition, he just couldn't co-ordinate a landing, and even that had his ribs screaming again. But he had to keep going. They could be anywhere. They could have other people nearby.
Using the dumpster for leverage, he picked himself off of the ground, patting his pocket when he was back onto his feet. They didn't take his phone. Yes!
All was quiet for the time being, so he took a chance, dialed Keira's number, and then the world started to blur.
Pick up. Pick up. Come on, don't tell him he's too-
"Hey, T!"
Oh, thank God!
"hey, K-kei." He tried to keep his speech as close to normal as he could make it, and failed. Breathing alone was already requiring effort. Attempting to speak had his words coming out soft and strained.
"T?"
Damn it. So much for keeping the worry down.
"Where are you?"
"I'm on my way up!" Severin's eyes went wide. His breath got caught in his chest, and his heart fell from it. Right into the pit of his stomach. And it started getting even worse: Everything turned into one big, multicolored blob. "What ha-"
"NO!" Fuck the calm! He put all of his desperation into that one word, hoping like hell it would stop her in her tracks, however far she'd gone. "Do not go upstairs! I'm not even up there anymore!"
"Where are you?!?" It killed him to hear the panic that Keira's voice was filling with.
"I..." Severin turned to his phone, but he couldn't even make sense of that. So instead, he turned to the nearby corner of what he already knew was a building, and the world started spinning. He stepped forward on light, shaky legs that felt like they were about to give out any second, extending a hand out for something he could balance himself against, stumbling about like a drunkard.
"T?!?"
"I'm still on. I'm still on. I just..."
...Lost all sense of direction. That Keira hadn't yet made it upstairs had failed to put the dots together inside his pounding skull.
"I was set up." As long as he was like this, he wasn't going to figure out where he was. So he gave her the facts that he was aware of. "A couple other wrestlers..." In a continuously breathless manner. "They ambushed me. they had keys. beat me down, and took me i don't know where. i...i don't know if they're...if they're still up there, but...just in case they are, please, please don't..."
Severin felt so light, all of a sudden. And things started shifting. Moving. A big, grey wall of concrete came flying right at him, and then it all went black again.
