Looking back on how her career had led up to this point, Astrid realized she had been in a lot of high-stakes matches.

When she had freshly won her LAW Heavyweight Championship, and returned to the indies for the European Grand Tour, she did so with the understanding that any defeat could compromise her standing, and that she would have to forfeit her place in LAW if she was to drop the belt overseas. When she returned to face Jess McLeary, she did so with the agreement that if she was to lose, she would give up both her title and her position in LAW. And now, as the champion, she was prepared to defend the greatest honor in her division, standing up for what it meant to be among the best of the best, and to approach the challenge with the determination and effort it deserved.

But her opponent wasn't just out to take her title. She had her sights on Astrid's head. Or, more specifically, her neck.

In mere moments, Astrid was going to enter the ring against Cyber Widow. A ruthless veteran of the wrestling world, and one whose brutality hadn't been tempered with age, Widow had already wrestled Astrid's father Lars in the heyday of her career, and he was lucky to have escaped without suffering a career-ending injury courtesy of Widow's Frankensteiner finisher. Now that the two had met for a discussion on Widow's plans for winning the title, it was apparent that the veteran's pursuits could only end in a title match. But more importantly, Widow wanted to finish the job. Not just defeating Astrid, but putting her out of the business for good.

Astrid sucked in a breath. In the week leading up to this match, the media had been abuzz with discussions on what was in store. Many drew comparisons with the main event of We Are LAW 4, in which Aoi Fukiwara lost the Lightweight Championship to Rose Gold, who deliberately inflicted a crippling tendon injury on her in the process. The question on everyone's mind was if Astrid would be met with a similar fate.

But she straightened her shoulders, looking toward the door. She thought back on a video call she had with her father the night before, in which she had sought his advice on dealing with Widow. But more importantly, Astrid knew that her father was counting on her to win this match. Her family was important to her, and everything she did was to make her father proud. In her match against Jess, Astrid acknowledged that it was her determination to win in the face of such stakes that helped push her to victory. Perhaps this time, it would be the thought she was doing this for her father that would give her the edge. She would welcome any help she could get.

Out in the arena, however, the lights dimmed on ring announcer Misa Otomura, who stood in the center of the ring. The fans were cheering as soon as she raised her microphone to proclaim the coming event.

"Llllladies and gentlemen! THIS is your main event! The following match is scheduled for one fall, and will be for the LAW Heavyweight Championship!" Misa pointed toward the entrance ramp. "Introducing first, the challenger! From Hannover, Germany, at 6'6, weighing 209 pounds...CYBERRRRR WIDOOOOOW!"

Staring at herself in the mirror while the stage hands was helping her into her custom outfit for the special entrance she has planned, it will be one that will have people talking tonight.

'It could all end tonight.... all the tears, blood, sweat everything I put into the business..." talking to herself mentally preparing herself for a battle... no a war against someone who family tried too ruin her. Nothing personal against Astrid, her issues laid with her bull headed father, an his brother for what they did speaking out against her so called reckless style of wrestling. But seeing how Astrid is with her little tour and honor, she knew that nothing would get through that thick skull of hers, just like her father stubborn and prideful.

In every wrestling company there was always a Ostberg wrestling, but after to tonight that will end And she make sure of if it happening.

Giving herself one last look over in the mirror, the shiny metal shoulder pads is connected to her Spider symbol over her chest. Thinking to herself "I win tonight and that it... I can retire for good no title defense, no more battles nothing just leaving on my terms this time...." picking up the steel chain that are connected to skulls with the names of every wrestler she injuried, the one in front having Lars name on it for everyone to see....'I'm ready to begin...The Black Widow will Reign again"

One stage hand places the metal headpiece over Widow head and turning the device on so that the red light shines like a laser pointer, being led to the stage entrance so when her name is called by the announcer she will raise up from the stage as her music plays.

The crowd is silent as the lights go black, on the screen above the stage a Target Lock-on symbol appears on the screen moving around before locking on the image of Astrid and the championship belt.

Music plays over the speakers as CyberWidow makes her entrance, raising from underneath the stage. Her head down waiting for the chorus of her song to play before letting out a loud scream holding up the metal chain for everyone to see the skulls with Lars name and Yoko on them as well.


Tossing the skulls aside an taking the headpiece offas she makes her way down to the ring, sliding into the ring waiting for Astrid in the middle of the ring.. All focus on claiming the biggest prize in LAW but also to end a blood feud either way tonight something will end...

When it came to main event matches, it wasn't uncommon for wrestlers to go all out in their presentation. That went doubly so for championship bouts, and not without reason - such events defined the careers of those involved, and cards could be elevated by a high-profile title defense. But when it came to impressive entrances, Widow's was definitely one that made an impact, and one that few would forget - for better or worse.

There was no question leading into this match that Widow was after the championship. She had stated as much herself - she wanted it not only for the glory, but for the satsifaction of crushing Astrid in the process. But were there any doubts, the video Widow played on the jumbotron stood as proof that if she had her way, she wouldn't leave the ring without Astrid's title - and she would surely use any means necessary to attain her goal. As her name was called, a few boos rang out through the arena. They only grew louder as the video showed the targeting crosshairs locking onto Astrid, and Widow's intentions became clear. But as soon as Widow emerged from the Gorilla position, holding her wreath of skulls aloft, everything fell into a fearfully hushed silence. No one would dare to risk getting Widow's attention - and many were even more worried for Astrid's safety.

Misa herself stood motionless for a few moments as Widow entered the ring. But, clearing her throat, she took a step to the side, gesturing out toward the ramp again.

"And next! Coming to the ring from Stavanger, Norway, at 6'1 and 188 pounds! She is the reigning LAW Heavyweight Champion...AAAASTRIIIIID OSTBERGGGGG!"

The contrast in the crowd's reactions between Astrid and Widow was a stark one. As soon as her name was heard, the fans cheered for Astrid - and they grew even louder as she planted her boots at the top of the entrance ramp, holding her head skyward with her hands on her hips. She wore a fur-lined robe, opened to show the championship belt around her waist, and as she walked to the ring with raised arms pyrotechnics went off behind her. However, as Astrid got to the ring apron, she took a pause. Somehow, she felt she couldn't measure up. She had entered this ring as a champion, but Widow's entrance perhaps stood out more, if only for how much work she had put into her threats.

Astrid's eyes narrowed as she stared at her opponent from over the ropes. What was perhaps even worse than Widow upstaging her was in just how she'd done it. She knew Widow had boasted about injuring her opponents in the ring, but her teeth clenched and she took in a hiss thinking about how she'd now brought her family into it. Now, it was personal - and Astrid wouldn't stand for it.

"Nice entrance," the blonde muttered. "I can tell you worked hard on it..." She slipped off her robe as she rolled through the ropes, handing her belt off to the referee. "It's almost a shame that it'll all mean nothing when I take you down. But...I can't afford you any mercy. You don't deserve any."

This was it... the Famed Ostberg legacy... this plain looking boring entrance that her opponent came out to. At least when Lars came to the ring his presence alone made up for the lack of a fancy entrance... even his idiot brother as well but this... was a disgrace.

Looking unimpressed as Astrid makes her way to the ring, scoffing and rolling her eyes hearing the Champion make her little threat almost laughing at being told that she won't be given mercy. At least when Lars made his threat you felt it but this is more like a cub trying to bare her fangs, in Widow eyes it makes her look weak. "Mercy... You show me mercy deciding to just laugh at that threat. "the only Mercy your going to have is praying that you survive tonight."

Stepping right up to the smaller woman before turning to look at the camera that recording the match "I know your watching Lars.... Good thing you get to see your daughter last match." raising her hand and crosses her neck in front of Astrid... the time for talking has ended.

Deciding to get one last shot at rattling the Champion before the ref rings the bell, making sure she timed everything as well so that Astrid would have to wait. Raising her hand up and throws it quickly planning on landing a hard slap to the Champion face, doing it before the bell is rung to unnerve the woman and maybe throw her off her game.

Astrid couldn't help but feel a little disappointed with Widow's reaction. She wanted to send a message that she wouldn't let herself be intimidated, and that she was going to stand up for her championship and her reputation even in the face of an opponent who was committed to cutting down both of them. At the least, she wanted her conviction to make a mark. But Widow wasn't swayed. She barely even considered Astrid a threat, by the sound of it. Even more so than the threats she made about her father, this was a grave insult to Astrid. The least she could ask for was to be taken seriously as an opponent - no less a champion.

"I-!" Astrid clenched her teeth. Her brow furrowed and she snorted under her breath, her fists balled at her sides. It was all too tempting to strike out at Widow here and now, but the bell hadn't rung. Not that this would stop Widow, who swung out with a swift slap right across Astrid's cheek!

The sound of the smack echoed through the arena. Astrid reeled to the side, shaken by the blow, but soon straightened herself back to lock eyes with Widow. At this the referee was getting into position between the two women, trying to keep them apart. But Astrid wouldn't let that stand. Widow had gone too far, and there was only so long she could tolerate her meddling!

Lashing out suddenly, Astrid threw herself toward Widow with a lunge. She swung her forearm straight at the veteran, looking to trade her back with a hit of her own!

[The Riders]

Seeing her slap land clean across the younger woman face, waiting to see if Astrid is going to do anything about it. Widow knows the battle is almost won seeing how angry Astrid is getting but trying to reign it all in like a good little champion is supposed to, some champions fold and crumble at the first sign of a dangerous foe others fight back and prove their worth before falling in defeat.

Astrid proves her wrong through. A brutal forearm smash rocks Widow jaw sending her stumbling to the side, the blow had a lot of anger and hate behind it letting out a laugh at that thought."

Turning her head slowly to face Astrid a big grin on her face... before turning to the ref "Move or get hit" yelling at ref who quickly moves out of the way, motioning to ring the bell and start the match and getting out of the damn way.

Throwing herself back at her opponent with her own forearm shot to Astrid face, sending the message right back at her.

Widow had tried to catch Astrid off-guard with a slap, and indeed, her palm met its target, turning the Norwegian's head to the side with the sound of a crack. What she hadn't done was catch Astrid unawares. The champion was like a coiled spring, her body tense and ready to strike with the slightest push, and she knew that with the way her opponent thought it would only be a matter of time before Widow made her move. All Widow had done was open the floodgates, as Astrid threw herself back at her with her arm raised to connect a forearm across the jaw!

"WHOAH! Hold on!" The ref girl raised her hands, trying to push the two combatants apart enough to restore some semblance of order. But it was much too late for that. The first fists had been thrown - and when it was clear the referee wouldn't be able to control it, she elected to step back out of the way to leave Astrid and Widow to their own devices.

Soon after the bell rang, Widow was right back at Astrid, throwing a forearm of her own. Once again, Astrid took it. It landed with a smack, and she staggered backward, her head cracking in an arc as her blonde hair blowed behind her. A few steps away, however, Astrid stopped, recentering herself. She glared back at Widow. Astrid wouldn't give her the satisfaction of getting to say that she'd hurt the champion, or even bothered her. She wanted her to know she wouldn't stand for this! Shrugging off the pain, Astrid bellowed out a warrior's cry as she threw herself back into Widow, aiming to hit her with a shoulder block!

[The Riders]

Getting the drop on the Champion was Widow first plan, hit her first and rattle her confidence before breaking her down completely. Aim for her weak points and she will crumble just like her father did... but knowing that Astrid would call to her dad for advice, Widow was forced to change her plan just on the gut feeling she had.

Seeing her own forearm smash land flush against her opponent face rocking her a bit, waiting to see what happens next which is taken advantage of by the champion. Widow stumbles backwards into the ring ropes from a brutal shoulder tackle that slams into her stomach by Astrid , clutching her stomach.

Widow plan was to not trade blows with the Astrid... Her match against Alaina proved that in a battle of pure power Widow would be overpowered in the end... same with Astrid and her power game. So strike hard and target every spot she has on her.

"I actually felt that one..." So far both women have tanked hits trying to one up each other, but both are not backing down and Widow bounces off the ring ropes going for what looks like a shoulder tackle. But it is really a spear as she leans her body instead of targeting the opponent mid-section, she is going after Astrid leg's.

With Widow's forearm slamming into her face at full force, Astrid staggered back. Her jaw felt numb where her opponent had connected, but she didn't have any time to ponder that. The adrenaline had taken hold, and Astrid was already prepared to throw herself back into the action. More than anything else, she was angry at Widow for daring to threaten her and her family like this, and to belittle how much her status as Heavyweight Champion meant to her. She couldn't let her get away with that.

As Astrid threw herself into Widow, her shoulder raised and making impact with her gut, the veteran went stumbling backward. The impact seemed to knock the air out of her, leaving her keeled over forward and clutching her stomach. But that still wasn't enough to satisfy Astrid. She knew that Widow deserved far harsher. She leaned in again, reaching out toward her opponent. Now that Widow had been stunned, Astrid was prepared to grapple with her, looking to gain control.

But to Astrid's surprise, Widow proved more agile than she had bargained for. Just before the blonde's arms could loop around her, Widow doubled back toward the ropes and out of her reach, and Astrid only grabbed at the air. Steadying herself, Astrid raised her guard, watching Widow as she bounced off the ropes to come back toward her. Astrid was sure that her latest challenger had more in store for her, and she braced herself in preparation for how she'd respond on the rebound. It looked like Widow was going for a shoulder tackle of her own, so Astrid kept her arms up to cover her upper body and shield herself from an attack to the torso...

...Only for Widow to, at the last minute, duck low and dive toward her legs instead! Astrid gasped, but she didn't have enough time to prepare herself before Widow's weight came crashing into her, sweeping her footing out from under her! The Norsewoman fell onto her back, landing with a thud. Hissing through her teeth, Astrid twisted her body, kicking at Widow in an attempt to keep her back. If she knew one thing, it was that she wouldn't want to be in such a vulnerable position underneath her!

[The Riders]

Her chop block like move slammed onto Astrid leg taking the woman off her feet and onto her back. Widow makes a tsk like noise as her move did not catch her opponent the right way like she wanted it to. The lunge at the Norsewoman leg's was to bend Astrid forward to either weaken those leg's or worse...

But not able to take advantage of her move...due to taking a randomly thrown kick that slams into her stomach forcing her back. "UGHHH" stumbling back holding her stomach area with her hand glaring at Astrid.

"That move was meant to tear something in your leg's Astrid..", Widow say's in a cold indifferent tone. This is the Famed Black Widow... The woman who injured wrestlers because nobody could stop her. Having to really look at herself on winning that title she would even go back to her old style of wrestling, to mane or hurt someone forcing the ref to call the match in her favor.

Reaching down trying to grab and grip Astrid leg, while also pressing her advantage if she still has it. By trying to grab the Norsewoman leg, Widow will target the right leg with a elbow drop to the knee. Planning on weaken her opponent leg's taking her strength away the longer the match goes on.
