Introduction

Unread post by Devilish53 »

The following is a special LAW event ran outside of the usual LAW broadcast times. All promos were completed by the relevant character or event owner, or with the permission of them. Consider this a 'What's Happened So Far' in terms of the history of LAW as a whole, mainly around belts both custom and official, and events, but self-ran and official.

1. Loser's Belt Open Challenge

Unread post by Devilish53 »

Written By xalex. Edited By Devilish53

~~~
The lights slowly coming to life, a lone figure would be centre of the LAW ring, with the opening of the re-cap special seemingly being awarded to perhaps the most fitting of event openers. The loser champion.
Karin would stand all alone in the ring while the crowed was chanting "loser." She would bite her lips before starting to talk.
"Hey I know you guys don't want to see me right now...and I don't want to be here right now. But if I don't do this I will be fired so please be quite...I will hurry up so the next one can come out here!"
Karin would remember what the management was telling her.
"I did lose the first time for this belt at the first We Are Law event...I lost a match like a real loser, I got destroyed and pinned by Anzu...who is way better than me. Because that wasn't my first loss, I did lose a lot of times before that evening. I deserve to carry this belt..."
"Afterwards I got a chance to get rid of the title by facing another woman. But once again I screwed up and lost again. Because I am the loser I keep losing...I will carry this belt until the time runs out or until I beat someone...that will never happen...”
Karin would look up to the stage soon after. "Anyone who wants to take this belt from me can come out here and try it. You won't be able because I am the biggest loser."
Looking to the ramp, an awkward moment would pass without so much as a whisper. When making an open invitation, the champion making said challenge would of course, pray there was a quick answer. But as a moment turned into a few minutes, and a few minutes into nearly ten, Karin's look upon her face had faltered outright.
The awkwardness of the entire scenario broken by a few sniggers, Karin simply did what felt to be the only thing she could do in an effort to save some pride.
With that 'belt' to hand, she merely slithered out of the ring, and made her way towards the exit. Head, practically in the sand.
2. Tag Belt Highlight
Unread post by Devilish53 »
Each day brought LAW closer to We Are LAW 2019. And each day brought forth more and more questions about what the company would do to establish inaugural LAW Tag Team Champions. It wasn't long ago that a summit was called for by one of the arguably more mismatched teams of the roster. Anna Harris opened the floodgates and beckoned every team that felt worthy enough to come forward and state their case for stardom, their case for being the best. While her partner, Samus Healtway wasn't much for words, her standoffishness and body language communicated that she didn't see the need for any of this. Where Anna every LAW team to put their talents on display, the towering, undefeated blonde seemed to only be invested in her team's own. Thankfully, the more amicable member of Natural Selection proved to outshine all others when it came to rallying everyone together. Doing that in and of itself was impressive. Few members of the roster could garner this much attention from their division.
One by one, teams came down and said their piece. This segment grew more and more lively as many of the best the tag division had to offer arrived.
Each team was bursting with confidence. Thundergirls welcomed all comers.
The Wings of Wrestling and the Valkyrie Troup brazenly and openly declared themselves to be the best The Farmers' Daughters and Rebellion laid out their resumes in feats outside of the league, and used their experience and background to the credibility of the other teams.
And the SWAT Cats and The British Bombshells made more emotional appeals to fans and viewers everywhere, cementing their places as fan-favourites that the people wanted to see succeed.
On one of the higher floors of LAW Corporate HQ, The CEO and General Manager sat with his board. Each of them pitched ideas, throwing them back and forth in the hopes of striking gold and coming up with a way to determine LAW's tag champs at the upcoming We Are LAW ppv. As with any brainstorming session, some time had gone by before the man himself had settled on a single idea to commit to. But at the meeting's conclusion he got up to reaffirm the takeaway.
"So then it's settled. Eligible teams will be invited to compete....in a tag team gauntlet. The last team that remains will be our inaugural LAW World Tag Team Champions..."
3. Last Woman Standing Recap
Unread post by Devilish53 »
Written Devilish53, With Permission From Noob.
~~~

With the audience having already witnessed an array of events thus far, from the unveiling of the LAWLESS Belt, to a lengthy declaration of Belly-Belt related dominance, to say they were unsure what was coming was something of an understatement.

Yet again, this time mind, it would be a re-cap. And an advertisement. All in one.

The first flicker of life upon those blackened screens would be none other than the current Heavyweight champion, Linda Halloween, going at it with the Irish beauty Erin Quinn. A montage of exchanged shots, slams and more would be followed on by another set of exchanges, this time between the likes of Alison Seong and Karen Starring. Again, when the clip appeared to be heading towards a close, with both titans gunning for one another, Katherine Hart and Susanna Kin suddenly took their place on screen.
For those in the know, it was becoming somewhat apparent that what was transpiring before them was none other than a recap of the infamous 2017 Last Woman Standing Tournament. A brief flash of darkness, or perhaps better described as a lack of light, and the clips would be exchanged for what appeared to be round two.

This time, clips of the matches would appear almost interchangeable from one another; shots delivered by Karen Starring would appear to strike upon Melody Superior; slams by Erin Quinn would be followed by a reaction by Katherine Hart. Neither encounters actually occurred, and yet the sheer speed from which the violence was being flicked upon the screen almost made it appear that such interactions did indeed occur.

With another flash of light, the final image of the moment it appears, would be feline superstar Katherine Hart gazing upon similarly stacked amazon rival Karen Starring. With a slow fade to black, it appeared that those in fear of the tournament ending being spoiled before them would not suffer from such. And given the focus of the trailers being shown, a moment of glory for the winner was not to be had. The tournament was last year, after all.

And now it seemed, said tournament was said to have a sequel.

With a final fade the black, single names began to appear on screen moments after, pasted on there almost in solid white.

Anna Holmes.

Kiera Quinn.

Sarah Luther.

Thunder Ryuko.

Marissa Wiltsure.

Melody Serperior.

Ducky Williams.

And last, but not least.

Megumi Mutoh.

With a final close from the list of names, what came next was almost expected, as an abrupt cheer emerged from the audience. Evidently, a tournament where only the outright most ruthless survived, with feats of absolute violence, heart, and wrestling skill, was somewhat of a hot-to-see feat.

Last Woman Standing.

Coming again, 2018.

4. Faction Wars Vignette

Unread post by Devilish53 »

Written By Devilish53. Permission And Main Content Given By All Involved Characters Owners

~~~
Throughout the night, almost dotted between promos, recaps and even the odd scuffle, lay the occasional profile of sorts for teams throughout LAW. Given the pre-emptive establishment almost of teams such as Rebellion and WiP, the team 'Faction Wars' had almost been muttered in lowly tones amongst LAW staff and viewers alike. Whilst big confrontations were a rare thing within the world of wrestling, with the lightweight war a prime example of what chaos unfolded when a great number of figures were put together in the ring, the clashing of personalities of individuals was damn near unavoidable in such a business. And with individuals, came friends. With friends, came teams. With teams, came factions.
The first flicker of such would be given to the aforementioned Rebellion, as early on in the night, the large screen upon the entrance for wrestlers would be filled with the team name. Across the screen, almost giving the viewer not more than a second to read each and every short description, came a profile of sorts of each member. With a lasting shot of all team members at the end, each major faction within LAW as of yet established would be given a moment in the sun.
Angela
A cold hearted and vile woman, with the demeanour of an aggressive alley cat, capable of lashing out at any moment. She rips into the opposition with cruel strikes and even meaner submission holds. to destroy anyone who gets in her way.
Kyoko
Arrogant as she is cute. Punches abs untill they break and is more then willing to tear you down if you get in her way.
Sarah
Yet another foul tempered and cruel woman, who has a short fuse that no one is safe from. Intent on pounding anyone who gets into the ring with her in a bloody pulp. Her knees and fists are her most dangerous weapons.
It came without saying almost, but those who had viewed said members in action, knew the chaos the appropriately named team brought with them. If any faction within LAW was going to kick start the wars, it seemed almost inevitable the most violent team of them all would be the ones to do it.
Later on in the night, another moment was given to a team formed within LAW not long after Rebellion, but one with rough roots outside of the company. A stark contrast to the violent hellraisers already shown, WiP 2.0, or, Work In Progress 2.0 as they were known, were given a moment to demonstrate almost their growing membership in recent weeks. With yet another montage of images, each member was once more given their due.
Ducky
A sweet girl with a never say die attitude! Always looking for ways to improve, and test herself in the ring. A submission specialist, hard worker, and all around nice gal.
Lauren
A likable slammer, big, flabby and an old rookie with a small but loyal fanbase. She tries hard and has her share of wins as well as her share of losses as her determination and drive take her only so far against women with superior talent as well as youthful vigor the former waitress struggles to compete against.
Katherine
A well known and well loved luchadora both in and out of the ring. This woman of class, respect, and upstanding moral fibre looks to make her mark with her potent combination of technical, powerhouse, and submission wrestling style.
Erin
She excels at two things, picking things up and putting them down. The middleweight focuses on strikes and slams, using her strength to her advantage whenever possible. Describing herself as not the sharpest bulb or the brightest tool, she rarely tries to outsmart an opponent and will just try and power through anything.
Tara
A flamboyant flirter whose happy to go the distance in any shape or form. She's rare to give up, and it's even rarer for her not to enjoy herself.
In complete stark contrast to the Rebellion, a faction that had almost yet to debut in-ring, yet were renowned behind the scenes for their solid work ethic and typical face-stylings, WiP seemed if anything the perfect counter part to such a chaotic faction.
Had there not existed yet another faction, apparently hellbent on violence aswell. If in the process, gaining complete and utter control of LAW. With no faction name officially given, yet the self titled nickname of 'Queens' passing the mouths of those watching, each member was once more given their bit in the sun. With this stable, having quite the curious final member.
Lillian
Pretty face and an awful temper. Willing to start fights for the hell of it, and crushes anyone she dislikes with brute force.
Helena
A competent, balanced fighter whose willingness and ability to play mind games, bend rules and win the cerebral battle sets her apart from many other wrestlers.
Sandy White
A deeply sadistic, imposing, and capable woman. She prides herself on putting other wrestlers in their place, especially those she deems weak. There is no line Sandy is above crossing.
Jessica
She has one goal, and only one goal in mind: win. Get the belt. If she has to bend a few rules, so be it. She usually makes smart decisions, but when she gets going, whew, you do not want to be in the way.
Eileen Sommers
She cares not for how she climbs to the top, so long as she gets there. Whilst mind games and using others to her advantage are her forte, the redhead is surprisingly just as dangerous in the ring.
Whilst the montage for the faction played out all the same as those prior, a brief view of the back of one figures head would be shown before the clip faded to black. It was hard not to recognise the figure, given she had already appeared on clips prior. A feat in itself, that sparked much muttering and chatter, as Kyoko Akan's image was once more sprawled across the screen. Whether her dual membership within the Queens or Rebellion was a ploy remained to be seen, the crowd appeared sure of one thing. Such a trait was hardly going to be settled easily, given neither factions seemed keen on sharing...
For the final montage of the night however, perhaps the most honest, if newest faction within LAW would be given their time to shine. With the words Cerberus fluttering across the screen, the crowd would be presented with what appeared to be a team of honest, pure wrestlers, all of the luchadore variety. Much like WiP, yet most certainly possessing more in-ring chemistry, with the final flicker of Cerberus' profile, not much more would be said of the rumoured Faction Wars. From what went on here on, would simply remain to be seen.
Holly
The biggest and strongest member of Cerberus, Holly is a terrifying figure for those that she runs across, caring for nothing more than fighting. The stronger an opponent, the more fun she has, and she takes pure delight in finding those who can stand up to her, few as they may be.
Kate
Right in the middle height and weight-wise, the coyote is a wily figure, known for her agility and wild disposition, often surprising foes with her seemingly feral tactics, and scrappy fighting style. Quite the loudmouth, and loves to play pranks on others for her own amusement.
Fumi
The smallest of Cerberus, the former all sport star athlete is quite the figure, curvy and striking, though her good looks belie her nasty attitude, viewing most others as below herself. Often times resorts to tricks and deception in the ring, even seducing some foes with her looks to win, if need be.
5. Hentai Belt Highlight
Unread post by Devilish53 »
Yuki Onna. Drya. Anzu. Bethany Hunter. To consider the figure known as Masako in the upcoming title match to decide the first Hentai Belt Champion to be the underdog may have been an understatement. Her presence and skill within the ring and outside of it apparent, the only thing not in Masako's outright favour was the stats themselves. At 5"7, 122lbs, Masako herself was bordering on being declared a lightweight. Not so much a handicap, especially given the specific belt she was going for, but it was often shown within LAW that size does help.
Her foe on the other hand, had height and weight that almost transcended her presence in the ring. With a solid reputation inside and outside LAW, Eirina Makishama had already proven herself to be a match for another champion within the company, in the form of one Belly Queen in particular. And despite coming up short against Kyoko, it could not be denied that Eirina's experience, wrestling ability, and perhaps even personality, put her up high within the list of LAW's greatest general threats.
To consider whom would come out on top between the duo was a task within itself, as short infographics of both titans flashed before the masses. The champion to be decided at the upcoming LAWS Of Love Special event, it could not be argued that whoever was so lucky as to come out on top in it's main event would have been the definition of deserving.
6. Ducky's Submission Spectacular Reel
Unread post by Devilish53 »
The lights dimmed slightly as the next video package queued up, the crowd going slightly quiet as they watched on. And soon enough, a few videos would begin to play, the crowd watching closely.
At first, a small reel began to play. Initially, it seemed entirely unrelated to the events of the night, showing folks on the beach, waves lapping at the shore, children running and playing on the sand, women and men tanning beneath the hot sun.
However, in between clips of the beach, there were brief flashes of LAW matches, specifically of the women’s wrestlers applying submission holds to others. These little flashes became more and more frequent, until finally, the screen cut to an image of a wrestling ring on the beach, giving away to the audience what the announcement was about for good!
On the screen, there flashed images of the women who had participated in the first series of matches, before finally, the words came up on the screen.
"Coming again next summer...
DUCKY'S SUMMER SUBMISSION SPECTACLE"'
7. LAWLESS Belt
Unread post by Devilish53 »
Written By Devilish53
~~~

Mentions of a LAWLESS belt, whatever such could entail, had been around LAW itself since the very founding of the company. Given the interesting name, yet somewhat lack of context on what it actually was, LAW Officials had deemed the special event to be the perfect time for an unvailing of sorts, if a lazy one. Amidst the events of the night, a lengthy break was given to the crowd, one in which on the screen was a heavy dose of information just on what the belt would be. From here on in, how the belt was given, or when, would be left for speculation.

Eligability: Three Completed Match under your belt

Challenges can be made for the belt at all times, with some restrictions. Between the hours of midnight and 5am, it is considered rest time for the champion, and thereby defences cannot effectively be completed. Should the champion opt to waver this rule, then so be it.

Matches are non-DQ, and won by pinfall or submission. Matches have a time limit of 24 hours. If this time limit is reached, the match simply ends, and the champion retains.

Any other time/location, so long as a referee is present, is fair game. If a match is already underway, it can not be officially entered. After a match has taken place, one hours rest is given to the champion. Again, this can be wavered. You cannot make another challenge immediately for the belt if you were unsuccessful, only after someone else has had an attempt. This cannot be wavered by the champion.

If the challenge is within the restrictions regardless of any wavers by the champion (so any hours outside rest time) the challenge cannot be refused. If the champion does not wish to defend themselves, on their head be it. The title match is underway regardless.

If a match is to be promised for an attempt at the LAWLESS belt (e.g. a PPV) and the champion loses before hand, the new champion has zero obligation to hold up the promised match. Only at the champions behest can a title match become multiple person (e.g triple threat or further).

8. Tokyo Brawl Highlight

Unread post by Devilish53 »

Written By Devilish53

~~~
With a low hull having fallen across the crowd in attendance, the array of rather wild events that followed this moment left the audience in something of a peculiar mood. It was rare enough after all, that the same card featured a moment highlighting sexual fights, moments after highlighting a belt that emphasised loss, with still further moments to be had.
The lights now cutting to a low amount, before outright cutting and switching off, the confused and peculiar audience would be slowly hummed to a silence, as the next moment of the night was evidently one left purely to the screen overlooking the arena entrance. On it, emerging with something of a bang, there began a series of almost cinematic-like shots of the city of Tokyo. Bustling streets. Busy restaurants. Even construction in progress. No audio was shown with said slideshow, besides a rather sudden and increasing bang as each cinematic shot changed. In amidst the subtle changes, however, brief clips of matches would begin to emerge. Violent ones, at that.
A slow view over a wide Japanese landscape would be intermittent by the sudden clashing of amazons, a short clip shown of one dropping another clean through the barricades.
A longer, seemingly never ending full three-sixty view in the centre of Tokyo would be cut by lightweights seemingly attempting to cripple themselves as they lunged from places up high.
Eventually though, the rather peaceful shots would be fully replaced by clips of typical, if extreme bits of LAW violence. Chairs being broken over heads. Pipes being bent around backs. Even the occasional clip of a submission going too far, with bodies being pulled until they simply couldn't be pulled anymore. A sudden stop would follow these clips, as a moment of silence followed, before further shades of violence were shown to the audience of LAW.
These clips however, would contain subtle differences to the violence that precursed it. Namely, in the fact none were in an official LAW ring.
Bodydrops into the unforgiving floors of the LAW halls; suplexes onto solid tarmac in the parking lot of LAW. Brawls outside of rings and practice rooms were rare, but they did exist. And the following event that the montage showed gave highlight if anything to such carnage. Or more, it encouraged it.
Another short cut to black later, and the crowd would be left with something of an ominous sign, given little information beyond those violent clips, and weirdly peaceful landscapes were shown.
"Tokyo Brawl. Coming Soon."
Another cut to black quickly followed.
