Sheila Morgan vs. Hazel 'Highlander' Neilson (c) for the LAWLESS Championship

Bruised, broken, battered, bloody, beaten. Was Sheila enjoying herself?

Yup. ”Fuckin’ time of my life, right here.”

You wouldn’t have known that to look at her, to be fair, with her body more and more resembling something like a piece of walking hamburger, but this was the sort of thing she’d signed up for. When she first met Hazel, she’d been worried that the hardcore champ didn’t have the killer instinct, that she was a little too soft. Now, as she lay in an ever-growing pool of her own blood, those concerns were all but quashed.

Sheila was still smiling, even as her foe brought her up onto the table, dragging her battered carcass over the papers, much to the commentator’s chagrin. Lucky for her, Hazel gave her a few seconds to recoup, gather her bearing, do something. Just needed to root around, and-

Yeah, that’d do it.

Sheila grabbed a pin, held it tight in her fist, the hopped off the table and onto Hazel’s expansive back. She clung tight and drove the sharp point deep into her opponent’s shoulder, plunging it as deep as she could manage it for maximum damage.

Hazel may have initially seemed to not want this match, and yet, she showed all the brutality expected of someone who carried the LAWLESS belt as if she wanted it and enjoyed it! Hazel was pretty sure her opponent wasn't getting up after getting her face beaten bloody, though it would be a shame to end a match for the title in such an anticlimactic way, especially for the blood thirsty hardcore fans. A table was more like it, but the Scotswoman wanted more and went to get the chair, keeping in mind that she and her opponent were changed together.

Reaching down and grabbing the chair, Hazel could only think of all the pain that she was about to put her opponent through. Unknown to her, while she was sourcing a chair, her opponent was alert, sourcing her own weapon, seemingly far from finished compared to what Hazel thought. As she was about to stand back up straight Sheila made her move and jumped onto her back, causing Hazel to fall onto her hands and knees to catch herself, the steel chair slipping from her grip and sliding away as she did. "You little sh-ahhh!" Hazel's words were cut off as she let out a form of pain as something sharp forcefully went deep into the muscle of her shoulder with the power of her opponent's fist behind it!

Almost as if in a panic, Hazel reached back with one hand, trying to grab and pull Sheila off as her shoulder remained in pain from the sudden jab!

They didn’t call her ‘the Wild One’ for no reason.

Technically, it was the name she chose for herself and put on her merchandise, but that name would never have stuck if Sheila hadn't earned it. Back home, people said she fought like a rabid dog, which was high praise for a wrestler who wrestled among backyarders. At this moment, Hazel was getting a firsthand demonstration on just how she earned that distinction.

Sheila dug the pen in deep, twisted it around for maximum. At the same time, she scrambled up on Hazel’s broad back, wrapped her legs around the woman’s waist, and clamped on tight to ride her, holding on for dear life as she piled on the pain.

Was the pen truly mightier than the sword? At the moment the pen was like a knife stabbing into Hazel's shoulder! Just when this woman seemed good at done she came back with unmatched and feral ferocity, using an item that wasn't ever thought of during a wrestling match! Hazel's shoulder began to bleed as the pen managed to dig in and puncture the skin as she had no luck getting Sheila off of her as the woman's legs wrapped around her body.

Hazel's arm refused to support her weight through the pain in her shoulder causing her to collapse onto her stomach as she howled in pain, a tear rolling down her cheek as her fist clenched in pain. "Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Hazel thought to herself as her hand reached towards her shoulder trying to grab Sheila's wrist to protect her shoulder from further agony as the match became a bit bloodier and brutal as the muscle's in Hazel's shoulder spasmed in pain!

Nope, you didn’t often see someone using a pen in a wrestling match. That was Sheila, always an innovator.

In her defense, it was working and having a far better effect than she would’ve expected, putting Hazel in a raw panic. Sheila held on for dear life as her foe floundered about, desperate to get free. It was doing some good damage, but with a hoss like this, it was only ever going to work for so long.

Sure enough, she reached back and wrenched the pen out of Sheila’s hand, forcing her to pull away. Not without a parting gift, however - she reeled back and threw a stiff punch in the back of her foe’s head, then fell away and flopped to the floor, still winded from the beating she’d taken.

Even still, she couldn't help but laugh. ”Having fun yet?”

All it took was a pen and a crazed Australian behind it to put Hazel on the back foot and on her knees, squirming and struggling in pain as the writing utensil dug and stabbed into her shoulder. Thankfully, though, Hazel managed to get ahold of herself enough to reach back and get ahold of the pen, ripping it out of Sheila's hand and sending it flying across the ground away from them, giving her shoulder some relief. Hazel was breathing heavily, her body finally relaxing slightly, though the relief was short lived as her opponent's fist slammed into the back of her head!

Hazel's body collapsed onto her stomach, the room going black for a second before she reopened her eyes in a daze, the room spinning ever so slightly as she looked towards the barricade, her opponent sounding so far away despite being right behind her. Hazel instinctively crawled slowly towards the barricade, knowing she had to get back up to her feet.

Sheila was proving that even with a severe beating from Hazel, she was still just as dangerous as any heavyweight despite the size difference between them. Hazel's body felt numb and heavy as she crawled, only slightly feeling the blood running from her shoulder down her body as she slowly made her way towards her destination.

How would Sheila sum up her feelings at the moment?

”Fuuuuuuuck.”

Yeah, that would do it.

She was fairly sure she was suffering from some legit head trauma, her brain thoroughly scrambled after having her skull bounced against the steel post, and she was likely nursing quite a few other serious injuries that she would be feeling for weeks, if not months. That came with the territory, though - this wasn’t a match so much as it was a war, one she needed to win.

It hadn't been easy, but she’d made a window with her Hail Mary play, one she could exploit if she was smart about things.

Ignoring the fire in her joints, she took aim, her eyes narrowing as she calculated the distance. Then, with a burst of raw energy she didn’t even know she had left, she charged forward. Her boots pounded against the mat, each step a battle of willpower over agony. As soon as she was close enough, she launched herself into the air, legs snapping out in a vicious dropkick.

Hazel wasn't thinking much at all after the stiff punch to her head. Instinct quickly took over, knowing she wasn't going to win a fight or even stand a chance by just laying on her stomach so she crawled to the closest thing she could to hopefully help herself back up, the barricade. The muscles in her shoulder still hurt and spasmed from then attack with the pen but the Scotswoman pushed through it.

Sheila couldn't match Hazel in terms of raw strength, both women likely knew that, though despite Hazel being the lawless champion, Sheila likely had much more experience in this kind of match and taking things to the extreme, something shown with the pen. The Scotswoman knew she was going to have to push mental and physical limits now, using any violent tactic necessary to keep the wild woman down.

But first she had to get back up to her feet. Reaching the barricade Hazel pulled herself up onto her knees. Close, but not fast enough as Sheila's feet slammed into her back and sent her face into the barricade! Hazel let out a small cry of pain before becoming silent as her body slumped back to the floor, her challenger taking control of the match!

The dropkick was a mistake. Not the move itself, mind you, but Sheila had failed to take into account how utterly battered she was when she went flying. While her kick landed, it had the unfortunate affect of making her go airborne, which meant she had to come down on her back. Her totally fucked back.

The Wild One let out a cry after the impact and writhed on the ground, kicking her legs for a few moments while she struggled to get the pain under control. Sheila’s pain tolerance was high up there, so her being a state like this was a testament to the damage Hazel inflicted. This needed to end, while she still had the strength to make it happen.

She saw her chance as she sat up and looked over, watching as Hazel started to work her way up. Scrambling around, her fingers found the power cords nearby - perfect.

Sheila pushed her way back up, worked her way over to the champion’s side, and proceeded to wrap the cord around her neck, using it as a makeshift garotte to choke the life out of her, squeezing hard, putting all she had into the effort.

To the crowd, Sheila seemed like she was trying to hospitalize herself as much as she was trying to hurt Hazel, judging by the cry of pain that filled the arena when the woman's back hit the floor. Hazel meanwhile, seemed out of it, her face pressed awkwardly against the barricade as she lay on the ground. The Scotswoman needed to get back into this, get back to her feet. Sheila seemed fractured if not broken, and Hazel knew she needed to shatter the woman!

But first, Hazel needed to get up! Pushing up on her hands and knees before planting her hands on the top of the barricade. Unknown to her, Sheila had found a new object to turn into a weapon. A cord came unplugged as Sheila approached the Champion from behind like the living embodiment of death. As Hazel just barely got to her feet the power cord got around her neck!

Hazel grabbed the cord, trying to pull it away from her neck to avoid getting strangled as she staggered backwards into the ring apron, likely pinning Sheila to it if the woman was still behind her trying to choke her! "Dont... think.... this is over.... bitch!" Hazel managed to grunt out as their struggle continued!
