Yumie Hayashi vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines (C): Youthful Energy vs. Veteran Grit Ladder Match

As Yumie went down Alaina grabbed the ladder, wobbling and swaying from sending Yumie crashing down as well as the ring shaking impact causing the ladder to sway! Alaina took a second to steady herself and as soon as she did with the ladder solid she climbed up the last steps to reach the top, grabbing hold of the LAW Heavyweight Championship. She played with it working frantically as she did free the title from its holdings. She held it high as the bell rang with an exhausted, hurt, aching amazon retaining her LAW Heavyweight Championship!

A wave of relief washed over Alaina as she had hopefully put Yumie in her place. The challenger was impressive and had Alaina reeling a few times but Alaina in turn got to show Yumie the toughness and drive it took to call yourself a champion in LAW. She climbed down the ladder slowly, slumped against it and her movements all slow, pained and deliberate. She was in rough shape herself knowing what she had just been through.

When the bell rang the feeling of defeat washed over Yumie, her second loss to the Amazon. Yumie's fist clenched and unclenched, her body still wracked with pain from the Amabomb off the top of the ladder and she simply remained still, eyes clenched, her mind just a flurry of thoughts about how she had just lost to the same woman twice, it was irritating, if she could have been a little stronger it could have been her holding that title right now.

Alaina came down from the ladder slowly and when she got to the mat she held the title high and did a lap around the ring, staying close to the ropes as her exhausted body had to lean against it a few times simply to stay upright. She was gassed but she had won. The amazon may not have been the youngest champion around by any stretch but she was still the champion and against women like Yumie that was saying something. Alaina had been in a real tough battle and it showed on her body. Matches like this were getting harder to recover from especially in a timely manner. Still, as long as she kept winning she would keep wrestling whenever she was asked. She wasn't just going to appear at big shows, she was going to defend the hell out of the title as she had now done successfully 12 times.

Alaina looked at Yumie and gave her a nod before exiting the ring starting a hobble towards the back, but as hurt as she was she was able to walk in triumph as she managed to win again.
