In a near instant, Chloe slammed Nerissa face first into the mat with a cutter, herself smiling as she watched her opponent crumble over, Chloe made had been through a lot of pain herself, but it will all be worth it with her first victory in the tournament secured.
Chloe rolled over Nerissa onto her back, and then proceeded to hook the leg, while winking to the crowd in a very seductive way.
All this happened as the referee was about to count.

Re: Chloe Braden vs Nerissa Labong
“TWO!!”
That was the first thing Nerissa heard when she regained consciousness. It sounded like something very remote because she was experiencing a wild headache after her opponent's last move. However, even so, the Native American woman very clearly understood her situation.
Only one second separated from defeat.
What brought her to this moment? That all her thoughts during the match were focused on something or rather someone else? Who was she supposed to blame for being in this situation? Her manager, who signed her up to participate in the tournament without her knowledge?
The answer to those questions was obvious.
“THREE!!!”
The only one who was to blame for the current situation was Nerissa herself.
After losing the most important rivalry of her life, she completely lost her concentration and therefore the outcome was natural. Being too far from her best form due to her mental state, she lost in the first round of the tournament, falling into the losers' bracket.

Re: Chloe Braden vs Nerissa Labong
DING! DING! DING!
Chloe got off of Nerissa with a big warm smile on her face, she knew the sound of the bell ringing meant she was moving on to the next round, and that she overcame one of the top lightweights in LAW in a match where she was very close to defeat, but won in the very end.
Chloe mustered all her energy before kipping up to her feet, before going over to the ropes, waving to the crowd and blowing kisses before having her hand raised.
Chloe then walked over to the downed Nerissa, and put her hand down to help Nerissa up. “Thank you for the beauty of a match, darling.” Chloe said, attempting to compliment Nerissa.

Re: Chloe Braden vs Nerissa Labong
When the bell rang, it became obvious that it was over. When her opponent released her, Nerissa finally allowed herself to open her eyes. She still felt dizzy, not to mention the pain all over her body. But this pain was nothing compared to what she felt in her soul.
To lose the most important rivalry of her life first and then lose in the first round of the tournament. She could have tried to justify that she wasn't in the best shape, but Nerissa believed that excuses were reserved for suckers. She was in good physical shape, but she was in terrible mental shape.
Gritting her teeth, the Native American woman took a sitting position. Although she didn't want to look for excuses, she clearly understood that with this defeat she had brought her career one step closer to the edge of an impenetrable abyss.
“Shit...” she said faintly.
At the same moment, her opponent approached her with words of comfort and a helping hand. Nerissa raised her head and looked at the blue-haired woman with a languid gaze. If she had been in a normal emotional state... however, it didn't matter anymore. There is always a winner and there is always a loser in a match. Chloe took a step towards fame, and Nerissa took a step towards the abyss.
Without saying anything to her opponent or accepting her helping hand, the Echidna rolled out of the ring. As soon as her feet touched the concrete floor, she winced slightly due to the effects of the match. As she expected, the audience did not feel too much sympathy for her defeat, because after the previous match her rating had been greatly shaken.
Taking a deep breath, Nerissa headed up the ramp, trying to ignore everything around her. Damn... this woman... why did she keep thinking about her even during the match, knowing that she needed to be focused on the fight and nothing else?
Hiding behind the curtains and quickly passing the waiting room, Nerissa found herself in the empty long corridor. She stopped for a moment and closed her eyes. Damn... damn... damn... why does it have to be like this? She felt so bad that she lost control for a moment. Before she could force herself to stop, she sent a hard punch straight into the wall. The skin on her knuckles tore and she left several bloody marks on the concrete. Only then she calmed down a bit and head to the locker room.

Re: Chloe Braden vs Nerissa Labong
Chloe thought for sure that Nerissa was going to grab her hand and accept her appreciation for a really well fought match, but that turned to disappointment as Nerissa seemingly declined her offer and left the ring.
Did Chloe do something wrong? Is Nerissa being a sore loser or is there something deeper? Chloe could not think about all that, she needed a clear head for the next round.
So Chloe waved and bowed to her loud adoring fans, blowing kisses to make some guy or girls dreams come true, before leaving herself.
Hopefully she can talk with Nerissa again, cause she feels like that girl is hiding something from her.
But also, this tournament has even more matches for her to win, and she gotta see it through.
Winner by Pinfall: Chloe Braden
