She landed after the attack, rose with a pristine grace, and spun about to face her opponent, finding the damage done to be satisfactory. With a fiendish grin, she rushed back to her opponent and proceeded to unload, putting her striking skill to good use. She led with a swift jab aimed at Chloe’s face, followed up with a stiff right cross down the middle, one aimed at her proud chest.

She finished the combo with a low sweeping kick, one targeting the side of her foe’s knees to make her buckle, before she tried to leap back out of range.

The younger french woman would start to rise to her feet, before suddenly taking a flury of blows from you more experienced opponent. Chloe would only barely have time to raise her hands in order to defend herself, but it barely did anything as Lucia's strikes would make their mark.

She would reach her arms out, acting like she was about to try to tackle her opponent, but at the last second would switch her body position, raising herself higher into the air, starting a flying knee strike aimed at the nun's face, hoping to catch her off guard and connecting with her knee strike.

Sister Lucia’s movements were more akin to a dance than pure violence, stepping here and there, dodging and dipping, never staying on the center line and giving her opponent no chance to break the flow. Though she might have been slight of form, she could strike with righteous fury when the occasion called for it, and this was certainly the perfect time.

It was enough to beat Chloe back and create space between them. To Chloe’s credit, she was able to withstand the onslaught without falling over, but if she thought there were would be a reprieve, Sister Lucia would happily disabuse her of that foolish notion.

Eager to press her advantage, Sister Lucia rushed forward to deliver the coup de grace, only to find that her opponent was moving in at the same time, intercepting her charge with a bold rush. Sister Lucia found herself on her back, staring up at the ceiling, dazed - hardly an ideal position, but far from unrecoverable. Sister Lucia could only think that this must have been what Jacob felt like wrestling God, refusing to let him go until he received a blessing. Like that instance, her foe proved to be irritatingly implacable, holding on despite all attempts to shake her losing. Also like that instance, the Lord found his way out with a clever trick - instead of dislocating a hip, however, Sister Lucia went after something a little easier to access from her position.
