Astrid Arvidsson (c) vs Isabella Brandt — Blackjack Match for the LAW World Openweight Title

Passion was still burning brightly in Astrid's soul towards Isabella, but during the match the champion was always focused on only one thing, namely victory. Therefore, no matter how much she liked this cheeky blonde, the Golden Dragon intended to make sure that today Isabella would leave this casino in defeat.

Building up the pressure on her rival, the descendant of the great Vikings kicked Isabella in the stomach. Although the other blonde's body was certainly muscular, she had almost no chance of withstanding the wild might of the champion. The result of the hard kick was that Isabella doubled over with a painful wheeze, giving Astrid carte blanche for further action.

Without changing her plan, Astrid grabbed the contender's head, and then with a sharp movement sent Isabella into a short flight, which ended with the German-Swedish woman's butt landing hard on the mat. Isabella was exactly in the position Astrid wanted her to be.

The Golden Dragon couldn't help but smile the moment she rushed forward. The champion intended to run past her opponent in order to get to the far ropes as quickly as possible. At the last step, the blonde was going to turn around abruptly in order to fall back on the ropes and thereby bounce off them.

Taking extra speed, Astrid headed straight to Isabella in order to then abruptly put her right knee forward and ram the contender's face with a running knee strike! Considering the speed at which the Golden Dragon was moving, she was sure that after such an impact, she would surely be able to take a point or two and thus open the score in the match.

[Devastated]

Landing squarely on her tailbone, as the impact reverberated all the way up her spine, through her ribs and neck and set a half-ways sickening feeling coursing through her head following the snapmare. Isabella had fought bigger wrestlers before, and stronger wrestlers. Though so far Astrid was really making her case for being at the very top of that list...she hissed from the pain. Shaking her head slightly to try and shake off the feeling.

The piercing red eyes of Isabella caught a glimpse of Astrid taking to running at the ropes! She saw her bounce back....part of her wondered if she should roll out of the way. Should she retreat from this physically imposing woman? She could probably drop and roll out of the way, escape the ring and catch a breather. That was the safe and smart option, to reset. Isabella though...she had no desire for it.

Clicking her tongue, she would wait..as Astrid rushed towards her with that extra speed added to her thanks to her rebounding off the ropes. Isabella slightly shifted, her legs getting into position...at the final moment she would try to tilt, lean and just slightly roll out of the way of the knee! Making it just barely miss her! Then with a fluid motion she slipped in behind Astrid as she sought to grab the other leg and yank backwards on Astrid as she tried to throw her onto her back and go for a roll up pin! Folding Astrid in half and draping her weight over those legs in the process for a pin attempt!

The start of the match was very promising, at least for Astrid. The champion was able to take the first step on the path to leadership and she was not going to jump off this wave. Acting prudently and confidently, she intended to take full control of the match with her next move.

As she bounced off the ropes, she became even more confident in her plan as Isabella still remained in place. Perhaps this was what should have given rise to some grain of doubt in the heart of the Golden Dragon, but at that moment she was too caught up in the match to think about it.

Approaching the other blonde, the champion threw her right leg up, aiming her knee at Isabella's face. It might have seemed that nothing could save the contender, but literally a split second before the hard collision, she leaned to the side, thereby avoiding contact with Astrid's knee.

“Wa???...” Involuntarily escaped from the lips of the descendant of the great Vikings.

The reason for Astrid's surprise was not that Isabella managed to dodge her attack, but the fact that immediately after that, the Golden Dragon felt as if her legs were wrapped in vines. Before she could react in any way, she was on the mat, folded in half, while Isabella pressed her weight against her legs. Even before the champion blinked, the referee quickly lay down next to them and began rapidly slapping the mat.

“ONE! TWO!!”

From the realization of what had happened, Astrid's heart began to beat at breakneck speed. Adrenaline coursed through her veins so fast that she felt dizzy. The champion jerked her whole body violently, breaking the pin and throwing Isabella aside. As soon as the Norwegian woman took a more or less vertical position, she looked at the screen on which the current score was displayed.

“Smart bitch...” Astrid muttered, half annoyed, half admiring her rival's resourcefulness.

Many others might have flinched as the terrifying beauty that was Astrid Arvidsson came charging at them, with the intention of taking your head off no less. Some might have grown cowardly and ducked or dodged out of the way earlier. However, Isabella was a knight. The Tyrant had nerves of steel, especially when facing down a dragon! She waited, her muscles coiling with anticipation as she knew that this was a split second decision action that could backfire massively. If she was too slow then she would have her bell rung, and if she was too fast then she probably would have a harder time to get one over on Astrid. The risk and reward of this was not being weighed though, it was a decision that Isabella had already made.

As Astrid closed in, Isabella ducked to the side and entangled herself with her foe! The quick roll up worked like a charm as she ended up on top of Astrid and pinned her to the mat! The referee counted and before the golden dragon could buck her off, Isabella had earned herself a two count! Thrown aside by Astrid, Isabella rose up to one knee, a slight smirk on her face as she released a huff of air. She placed one hand on her knee and the other she raised to show two fingers. Then...forcing herself up, Isabella decided to waste no time at all!

When Astrid's eyes glanced at the screen, Isabella would charge! Not giving any leeway to the Golden Dragon! She came running in at full speed as she then sought to deliver a low dropkick! Aimed square at Astrid's right knee. Trying to cut her down at the base as it were!
