Serenity was annoyed.

She had been notified last minute today about her being requested for a ppv match. She supposed it was one those random call they make to lesser know wrestler to fill out spots in the card. Frankly, despite her having not that much of a pride as a wrestler, she still thought of such a motivation as beneath her.
It ruffled her mood that this was a mere supposition on her part, and no further explanation had been given to her by LAW.

Once arrived, she was notified of two things.
First, of having to show up in her secondary outfit as it semmed as her usual attire was still unusuable due to having suffered heavy damage in a recent match with a strong heavyweight.

Well...she liked that outfit well enough anyway.

And second...

That the arena for this fight would be the entire floor of the hotel hosting the ppv.
As she made her way throught, looking like an ethereal fairy, the assassin themed wrestler connected the dots. A last minute call, a match so open in its field of battle, even a KO match at booth. This was bar for bar her medus operandi.
Her eyes grimanced in a scowl.

She stopped her walk in place, without even turning back she said outloud.

"Show yourself."

She had heard, faintly so, the quiet and concelaed steps of who was likely her opponent.

The floor was dimly lit. The only sound Serenity's footsteps whilst she irritably walked to where the match would start off. Closer and closer into what she already had surmised to be a trap.

As the woman passed right next to an open door, revealing an elegant and empty ballroom, music broke the silent air. Inviting her to step within, to the fanciful maw's depths. Crystal chandeliers glimmering overhead, satin draped across tables spread wide across the room, and a record player, the source of the alluring melody. Were it not for the knowledge of the PPV going on, one would hardly imagine what would befall within the elegant space.

Once Serenity entered the room and cleared the doorway, a slam would echo as the doors closed behind her. This would be when her request sounded out, a lack of immediate answer no doubt annoying the Arabian evermore. Moments, seconds even, seemed to pass until the music suddenly stopped, and a familiar voice came from the record.

"Serenity," The voice began, revealing Tokime without the PI showing herself. "Age: 29. Weight: 122 lbs. You have ambushed many opponents in their own abode, in a last minute KO match. Something quite unorthodox, but not terribly uncharacteristic in LAW. While intriguing, this is far from the most mystifying thing about you."

The detective remained hidden, out of Serenity's view. While this may be the purplette's method, it seemed Tokime was more invested in the ambush aspect, while the recording continued.

"Your base stats are all that is publicly available. Your place of birth, where you have been, all hidden by someone. A deadend for any investigator worth their salt. That is, until someone sung.

"Pointing me towards rumors, of your previous employment."

Silently, as the recording spoke for her, Tokime slid out from beneath one of the tables behind Serenity. Wearing a silver and red qipao, and a bo staff in hand, the Japanese woman approached as silently as she could. Until the final words sounded, attempting to strike before the Arabian woman could.

"This isn't a match merely for LAW's PPV, but to bring light to the truth."

Tokime lunged, trying to get her staff across Serenity's neck from behind, pulling back and choking her opponent with the weapon. "And I will do so, once I defeat you, and pay you back for what you did!"

Intently Serenity listened to the recording, her senses on high alert a she tried to catch a glimpse of her hidden opponent.

"That woman..."

She thought, the contestant she wanted to have a little fun with in that scripted match some time ago. Serenity had been paid to throw out the match and damage her co star in that engamenent, though.
She definetly took more than a couple creative liberties...
So the girl wanted revenge? Fine by her, she couldn't just remain unscathed for her practices and it is clear this one had more guts and willpower than the others so far, for actually coming out with this scheme.

A strahd of hair? Perhaps the glint of a shadow? Whatever it was, it was a small tangible warning for the woman who barely had time as her opponent from the shadow emerged and attempted to choke her with a weapon!

"Gahk...ahk..!"

The purplenette initially gasped for air caught by the improvised hold, but not wanting to get taken out so early in the fight she took advantage of the fact that the pinkette had to use both arms to hold the staff in a correct choking manner as such...
She stomped on her feet, planting deeply the heel in the fair flesh of the PI. And then proceeded to make her drop the hold with a well placed elbow to the kidney.

If Tokime released the hold, Serenity would take a couple of steps back to regain her breath and assest the situation, still. With a wry grin on her lips she would comment...

"Dear, I didn't know you were so eager to see me again...
You know, you didn't have to pull this stuff for another couple of minutes with me truly? Ufufu.

But I gotta give your props, for the sneak attack, the dress, god you look gorgeous. And for having the guts to pull all this stunt~."

Her eyes would then narrow, still smirking but it was clear she would be taking this situation more seriously.

"So you want to know about me? How interesting, you will have to work for it dear detective. If you win, I'll give you some aswer...
If not, well I think I'm gonna enjoy you, undirsturbed this time."

Serenity was drawn in further and further, like an insect drawn to a fly trap. Though cautious, Tokime was able to keep herself hidden from the ashen skinned woman. Only revealing herself in time with her message, a flash of comprehension in Serenity's eye, catching the detective only at the last moment somehow. Yet it was too late, as her weapon pressed against the assassin themed woman's windpipe.

Not for as long as she had wanted, however, as soon her opponent stomped on her feet and elbowed her in the kidney. With a hiss at each action, the hold fell apart as Serenity escaped. Tokime readjusted her stance as the girl taunted and complimented, holding the staff she had brought with her at her side. "What can I say. When someone speaks in your ear about your 'rumors,' it's most prudent to pick up the investigation."

Unlike Serenity's initial reaction, Tokime was all business. She would give no compliment to her opponent's contrasting look, beginning to circle around Serenity whilst the deal was made. "That won't be happening again. I'll win, and make you sing like a canary."

Silence then befell the two of them, the private eye halting her pace. Her pink irises glaring into the purple eyes of her opponent. Patiently letting the tension settle.

Until the sound of a bell rang from the phonograph, as if to signify the match officially beginning.

The detective quickly swung the staff right towards the side of Serenity's head, seeming to aim for the obvious target. However, because of how obvious it was, Tokime expected her opponent to duck. If she did, the PI's knee would shoot right towards her face to straighten her back up. If it went as she expected, Tokime would finish her opening combo with a spinning lariat with her left arm, her right keeping a steel grasp on her weapon.

As the bell rang, Serenity had to admit that Tokime initial assault really had her seeing stars as her duckin was countered immediately, making her suffer an heavy blow to the side of the by the PI staff, followed by a spinning lariant that drove her reserves of air out in a flash.

"Ack..."

Serenity semmed to fell on the ground with that last move, her disoriented funny expression would indicate that she was even out for the count!
Yet.
Right at the last second, placing quick hand on the pavement, the purplenette cutie swung her leg acrobatically in a circular motion to perform a full leg sweep. Bringing Tokime down to the ground with her in a sense, and most of all if succesful making the pinkette have a long kiss with the floor.

"I admit it, I underastimated you a bit,Tokime-chan.
No kids glove then, it's a shame I have to ruin such a beautiful face as yours~".

Tokime wasn't playing around this time. Her first encounter with Serenity had been merely an acting gig, promoting an incredible game. Here, in the fancy dance hall filled with set tables aplenty, was more personal. Not only for the detective to add a win to her record, but to dispell the mystery that was the dark skinned girl.

Her immediate string worked as she wanted, knocking Serenity to the floor. But not before her leg swung against the sleuth's, sweeping Tokime off her feet and joining her on the ground. "Knn.." She groaned, holding her face from her harsh face plant, her staff rolling out of her grip and away from the two wrestlers. Clearly Tokime wasn't the only one who was holding back in their performance.

Trying to move before her suspect, Tokime would roll on top of Serenity. If the girl wanted them to be grounded, then Tokime could work with that. She would grab one of Serenity's arm, twisting at it as she locked her legs around the limb. If it worked, the detective would lock in an arm bar, putting pressure on the arm immediately.
