Sarabeth’s first PPV match. As a Young Lioness, Sarabeth was told don’t expect too many spots for her on the PPV cards. She was still a fresh fish while her peers were gaining more experience. Even to the point where Nico got a match on PPV at the last Fight The LAW event in Austria. Now, it was finally her turn and her mother made sure she prepared with extra regiment training, strength cardio, and technical sparring. Sarabeth was coming into this looking for that first win in LAW that eluded her all this time and she was the closest she had ever been against Sakura Hagiwara. A last second pin sealed her fate and Sarabeth was really bitter admittedly. She just hoped to finally get that win as she had shown she can hang with the best, but a last minute counter always brought her down. Not this time. Sarabeth had to overcome someone like Sakura. She had to win this time!

She was going into her entrance alone as she pulled her goggles over her eyes. Sarabeth even had new attire created for herself including long black fingerless gloves, a yellow singlet with the words “CUCKOO! CUCKOO!” on the back in cartoonish blue lettering, long black leggings, green wrestling boots with white laces tied, and her normal black trenchcoat. The singlet was her mother’s idea and what a way it would be to honor their bond in this match combining Astrid’s idea with the very word that symbolizes Sarabeth’s wrestling career. Sarabeth waited in gorilla as she saw the large prop cuckoo clock lowering for the crowd to witness. The gears in the clock mechanism started going haywire as the bird soon popped out shouting “CUCKOO! CUCKOO! CUCKOO!” before retreating back inside the house and the start of Sarabeth’s theme went off.
Sarabeth’s Theme Song
The crowd cheered loudly as Sarabeth went through the curtain raising her hands up letting yellow and black pyro go off as she pointed out to the crowd. She made her way down the ramp clapping her hands and turning in a circle taking in the moment. She was actually here on a grand stage and about to wrestle in the famous Tokyo Dome! Sarabeth raised her arms hollering to the crowd before running to slide in the ring. She propped herself up on one knee getting up before climbing a corner and pointing to certain fans. Matilda and Jessie were there in the crowd as well as she waved over to them and glad that her friends could see her special moment. Sarabeth also looked over to a tunnel opening just behind the first front row seating and she saw her father standing there smirking with his arms crossed. Everyone truly came out to support her and the pressure was on to win this time.

Sakura took a deep breath in preparation for the match ahead. One that was actually a rematch of one she had before in the past against the young lioness Sarabeth Chummers. Now as much as she disliked having to admit that match had been dangerously close for Sakura losing, and with the way her current record was looking she knew that this match may very well be a do or die type situation for her. But close or not she had still beaten Sarabeth once, and she knew that she could do it again. So as she took a breath in and got herself ready she would nod to herself and approach the entrance ramp as her theme music began to play.
Spoiler
Stepping out before the crowd to a mixed reaction but with plenty of cheers still comign through she would smile and nod. Unlike last time her fans hadn't turned on her from her being on a losing streak, and she was determined to make them proud and turn things around for herself. Running down the ramp and high fiving the fans in the front row she would leap up as she neared the ring and land on the ring apron before turning around and posing for the fans once more before leaning back and flipping over the ropes to land in the ring. Turning to her opponent she would narrow her eyes softly before approaching and sticking her hand out as a sign of respect before the match.

Sarabeth had actually studied Sakura’s previous matches before this one and watched her constantly on tapings. Sakura had been truly unlucky and felt like she was slipping back to her rookie years. One could’ve mistaken Sakura for a Young Lioness had they not known the idol was around before the program was even a thing. Even before LAW existed. Sakura’s time with BERSERK showed that Sakura hadn’t had a high pain tolerance and she was too green to even counter a simple submission which resulted in an abysmal wrestling record. Luckily, she got better and trained more when she came to LAW and now, Sakura had a slight veteran status to her.

Sarabeth kept herself in her corner letting Sakura have her moment and as Sakura entered, it was time for Sarabeth to step up and show her this time would be different. Both wrestlers shook hands, but they each had a determined glare on their faces. It was a must win for each of them and Sarabeth couldn’t afford following Sakura’s path let alone be the win that got Sakura back on track. The referee asked them to separate before she called for the bell and Sarabeth went behind Sakura fast trying to surprise the former idol with a Body Takedown on the mat!

Sakura looked at Sarabeth with a determined glint in her eye and saw that the green haired girl's own matched Sakura, great that meant this would surely be a back and forth bout and that she'd be even more difficult to put down than she had been in their first brawl. None the less it wouldn't matter in moments. Backing up a bit and readying herself Sakura darted forward, intending on starting this off with a traditional lock up. But tradition seemed to be the last thing on this girl's mind as Sakura instead found the girl darting past her and taking her from behind! "Ngh!" Sakura groaned lightly as she hit the mat, turning on her side and kicking her leg back, trying to hit Sarabeth and force her to back off from her!

Sarabeth had learned that Sakura couldn’t be given an opening and she also learned that Sakura was very persistent as that is what led her to nearly losing the first time. Sarabeth would have to make sure to keep herself on Sakura all the times which meant going outside the traditional means. Sarabeth felt Sakura’s kicks at her shins so she had to get off her opponent, but that didn’t mean she had to be done. Sarabeth grabbed the kicking leg of Sakura and started dropping the very knee on the mat as her mother taught her that weakening the body parts of her opponents would help her out later. If she could cut off Sakura from her legs, which had been shown to be her best asset multiple times, then Sarabeth would secure a very early lead this time and try to make this match shorter.

Sakura was starting this match off in a fairly bad position, having been dropped down by Sarabeth and starting to get worked over almost immediately. However Sakura wasn't one to back down easily, firing her leg behind her with a series of kicks, trying to make the girl back off, which she did thankfully enough. Or so she thought. But Sarabeth did get off of her she wasn't completely gone as the greenette grabbed Sakura's offending leg and began dropping it against the mat! "Ow! Agh! Stop it!" Sakura cried out, twisting and trying to shoot her free leg back to kicks at Sarabeth's gut to try and make her let go.

Sarabeth smashed Sakura’s knee against the mat trying to make sure the former idol couldn’t walk properly. She felt Sakura’s free foot hit her gut and Sarabeth wheezed and puckered her cheeks trying to get a few more knee smashes in before letting go succumbing to the pain. Sarabeth held her gut quickly getting up and leaning against the ropes. She needed to heal a bit before going back on the offense and she breathed heavily as the referee monitored Sakura.

Sakura was desperate to get free of Sarabeth's grasp, but it wasn't easy at all. Kicking with her free leg as much as possible to force her opponent to let go it took fair longer than the idol thought it would but eventually she managed to make Sara let go, finally making the girl back off! "Nghhh.. ah." Sakura groaned out, immediately turning to clutch her hurt knee, rolling on the mat in pain, unable to do anything despite having Sarabeth in a similar state!

This couldn’t have gone better for Sarabeth to give her the advantage for once in a match. Her technique paid off and she jumped up in excitement as she had time to think over her next moves. Sakura’s hurt knee could always be targeted further for more reassurance, but she needed to focus on more parts to wind Sakura down. Sarabeth ran for Sakura and tried planting her rear on Sakura’s stomach trying to hit a Running Bonzai Drop!
