The contract was of no use, now she would be unable to perform several of her roles who knows how long before her wounds would heal.

But the physical injuries were what hurt her the least at the moment, she felt extremely pathetic and frustrated. Even though Renee didn't win the briefcase, the truth was that she didn't either, she wouldn't stand a chance as a number one contender now. She felt like she had failed everyone, her friends, her manager and most of all. To herself.

There was a crowd of reporters waiting for her at the entrance, she had a lot of things to answer now. And the more she thought about things, the sadder she felt about this result, she couldn't help but be on the verge of tears.
