Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Wyvern's small giggle was the only thing Kyoko heard before she felt the grip on her arm get harder and those fingers try to dig deeper into her flesh, like they were teeth chewing through a meal. "Aaagggkkk!" Kyoko screamed trying pull her arm away before Wyvern did something like dig into a tendon and put her on a longer recover that could put her on the shelf for months. Thankfully the muscles in Kyoko's arm weren't easy to power through, but the pain was terrible and Wyvern didn't seem to care how many times Kyoko pulled her hit her to force her off until the ref finally had her say and broke them up. Kyoko yanked her arm close, leaving Wyvern to try and fight with the ref again and get to her, where Kyoko snapped and shoved her off, and this time Wyvern was pushed away. Her body was starting to give out, leaving Kyoko time to attack.
"This was supposed to be me outwrestling you, if you want it to be me putting down a wild beast I can do that too." Kyoko said watching Wyvern and waiting for her to get back up, then running in to try and kick her head off with an enziguri. If it hit she would stand up and start to move back to the ropes, lowering herself to level with the stunned challenger while preparing the Spear. The moment Wyvern would try to get up again she would run it aiming the Spear at her gut and knocking her down for a pinning attempt.

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
The dense musculature of Kyoko's body and Wyvern's delirious state rendered any hope of inflicting real damage with her clawing a distant fantasy at best. The spectacle is bloody and almost as uncomfortable for the audience to watch as it is for the champion to receive, but as the Belly Queen finally breaks free and shoves Wyvern off, Kyoko's chest and arm are left with painful but ultimately superficial injuries. The same can't be said for the challenger; the fact that being shoved onto her back only results in a few muted hisses of pain hardly reflects the agonizing reality of her shattered arm. For a moment, it seems the match might be over already, as Wyvern clamps her arm in place with one hand to try and dull the pain rather than try to stand. It is only a moment, though. Despite the sweat running down her even-paler-than-usual face, Wyvern forces herself up and gradually rises to her feet.
"Call it...whatever...you want..."
Although unafraid and defiant still, Wyvern is in no shape to resist or fight back as Kyoko leaps at her and strikes home with a devastating enziguri. The light behind her eyes goes out as the impact crashes through her neck and skull, sending her straight back to the canvas like a pupper with her strings cut. To the crowd, the match is obviously over, the Belly Queen's first challenger conquered. It is thus with calls of disgruntled confusion that they meet Kyoko's decision not to pin her opponent, not understanding why the champion would pull back to the ropes. Kyoko, however, has her opponent's measure now, and knows more will be required. The audience's jeers are silenced as somehow, impossibly, the Scarmaker once again forces herself up. Her useable arm trembles as she pushes herself from the ground, rising to her knees and then forcing one foot against the mat in order to rise to her feet. If it's even possible for a human in Wyvern's state to stand up is a mystery, and one that remains so. The second Wyvern's hand leaves the ground to try to stand, and she is at her most unsteady, the Belly Queen launches from the ropes, lancing into her opponent with a perfect spear and driving her down to the canvas for the third time!

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Kyoko hit Wyvern right when she got up. Dead center, flawless execution. Easily one of her best spears ever on an opponent who could barely get up before she hit her. Kyoko felt Wyvern's body give to her shoulder while she brought them back down to the mat, with the crowd gasping at the sight of what was now the final blow of the match. Kyoko's final move looked like she had put down an animal it's dying struggle, leaving the Queen exhausted but confident in her position. She didn't waste time taunting her, she just moved on top of the challenger and grabbed her leg, lifting it in a hook to tighten her spot on top and secure a stronger pin before the ref started counting.
"ONE!"
Kyoko would rest on Wyvern's chest, holding her leg tight to keep her chest and legs secure, her first title match was coming to an end. A fight that proved just how much someone was willing to risk if it meant beating her for it, even if it still meant failure. Kyoko was pleased with herself, the fight Wyvern brought her was something she'd boast about for years. To the crowd who were deflated to see her fall and to the people who wanted to hear about some of her toughest fights.

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Wyvern's insensate form can offer no resistance as Kyoko pins her to the ground following the powerful spear. If the bestial fighter is even conscious of her surroundings, she gives no sign, bonelessly folding in half as Kyoko hooks her leg to increase the power of the pin. Her arm is broken, her body battered, and no matter how strong her will to fight is, there are limits to what a human can do. In the face of the punishment inflicted by Kyoko, not even a warrior of Wyvern's calibur can keep on.
"ONE!"
Wyvern's world has grown nebulous. Her vision is a blur of indistinct light, the sweat streaming into her eyes only amplifying the disorienting glare of the spotlights she stares blankly up into. Her unconsciously twitching fingers slide over the canvas, unable to gain purchase and too slick to find any familiarity in the rough texture. Her ears ring, both from the pair of brutal impact ands the roars of the crowd. The agony from her shoulder and elbow overshadow every other physical sensation, drowning out anything else she might feel.
"TWO!"
Except for one thing. The impacts are familiar, and that familiarity gives her drifting consciousness a point to rally around. A hand striking the canvas. She was fighting...it was a match. And if the blows weren't striking her...she was being pinned. That realization sends a desperate rush through her body, her eyes snapping open as she begins struggling to escape Kyoko's hold. With one arm and no leverage, however, the larger wrestler has her fully trapped. There are times in every wrestler's career when they simply cannot keep going.
"THREE-NO!"
"KCCCCCCCCCCCCCH!"
Wyvern has often compared herself to something other than human, but in this moment, those claims seem less self-aggrandizing and more cold acknowledgements of fact. The Demon of Drogheda bellows out a hoarse cry of pain that has more in common with the grinding of rusty metal than any noise made by a human as she forces herself off the ground with both arms, raising one defiant fist into the air even as her shoulders fall back to the canvas. The strain nearly dislocates her arm again, no doubt worsening the injury even further, and gets her off the ground for merely an instant, but that second of separation is enough to break the count.
"G...get...off-f-f..."
Barely able to speak through the pain, Wyvern begins driving the elbow of her raised arm into the side of Kyoko's head, trying to force the Belly Queen off and fully break the pin!

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Time seemed to stop. The sound of the ref cutting off her three call and feeling Wyvern shift just enough to break the pin were earth shattering to the Belly Queen and to the audience. They exploded with excitement at Wyvern's resilience, showing the heart of a champion even if her decision wasn't the wisest. She made it clear that she was going to give her best until the very end. The only person who was quiet in the entire arena was the Belly Queen, whose confidence was completely shattered by the simple nudge from the challenger that let her break the pin of her finisher. She kicked out her spear, the spear that Kyoko won match after match with, a move she'd taught the fans to despair when she hit it because no even champions could survive the Belly Queen running at them at full force and always ended in a fall...just had it's long tenure of dominance ended by an opponent with a broken arm. The Belly Queen was completely stunned, unable to comprehend what just happened, in her near decade of experience she can't think of a single time this had happened to her. Was Wyvern simply more durable than anyone else or just too stubborn to give up until Kyoko actually killed her? Her thoughts ate at her, interrupted only by Wyvern's stubborn prodding with her elbows to Kyoko's head.
"WHAT!??" Kyoko screamed, a delayed shock from the unexpected kickout that it blocked out Kyoko's pain from the elbow to her face. She sat back and looked at Wyvern in shock, almost horror. She looked like broken toy by this point, a half dead corpse struggling to breathe and her arm looked worse, but this animal was still alive and still trying to beat her when she was half beaten herself! She began to wonder if Wyvern had a single safety measure in her head, anything telling her to slow down or stay safe. How could anyone put themselves through hell for a fight? Kyoko liked fighting and even this went beyond the limits she would ever risk her body on and she would only this far if she really hated whoever she was fighting, and she didn't think Wyvern hated her even a little bit. This was just...who she was, and Kyoko needed to crush that before this got out of hand. Kyoko sat up and would start stomping on Wyvern's chest and head. "That won't keep this going for long!" Kyoko shouted, hoping to put Wyvern down with a few more stomps, then she would grab her head. It seemed she wasn't ready to try and pin her yet, but wanted to pull her up enough that she could grab her waist and hold her in a gutwrench position. Another move of hers, one that she started to use a bit more recently and one she was sure would do what the Spear could not. "Try and kick out of this one!" Kyoko said before she would lift Wyvern up and toss her through the air, letting her come back down on her knees for the Queen's Drop! If that connected she would go for another pin again, this time certain it would be the end.

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Despite her stubborn resistance, Wyvern is still only barely aware of her surroundings through the fog of pain and exhaustion veiling her senses and clouding her mind. Her consciousness drifts between molten agony and unpleasant disorientation. She's barely aware enough to even meet Kyoko's gaze as the Belly Queen repeatedly stomps and kicks at her, cutting a sharp contrast to the piercing gaze she had from the beginning of the fight. She holds her good arm up as a partial barrier between her and Kyoko's foot, but even when she is able to interpose the limb it does little to ward off the incoming blows. Still, in the moments between hits, when Wyvern's arm drifts out of the way, Kyoko can see that somehow, horribly, Wyvern is smiling through the torturous pain wracking her body.
It isn't masochism. Wyvern takes no pleasure in pain itself, but the high she feels beyond the pain and displacement is one of the foremost reasons that she fights as hard as she does. The Scarmaker lives to push herself to these extremes, to fight the strongest opponents she can and see just how far she can keep going before she breaks. Even in LAW, at the pinnacle of the wrestling world, she hasn't found many who could push her this far. The idea that she might finally face true defeat here, to meet a limit she cannot overcome through durability and will alone, is intoxicating even as it stings her pride. Even those conflicting emotions bring a shred of joy to her, though. She needs these extremes of sensation in order to truly feel alive. No matter how agonizing the process of getting there is, it's worth it. Even as she exults in the fire burning through her sense, however, Wyvern can feel it fading away. Kyoko's stomps are hard, but she's tired and merely trying to weaken Wyvern further before her next effort to bring the match fully to a close. A half-hearted effort like that couldn't keep her down. And that failure would be punished.
To all external appearances, however, the fight finally seems to have been well and truly beaten out of her, with the challenger unwilling or unable to fight back as Kyoko hauls her off the ground and partway to her feet. Feeling the champion's arms wrap around her waist, Wyvern's instincts scream the danger of the incoming move at her; if this lands, it really will be the end. Unfortunately, she's not recovered enough to contest the grapple with strength, and the sudden jerk as she's flung into the air brings another overwhelming surge of excruciation from her shoulder. Without the ability to think consciously through the pain, instinct takes over; at the height of Kyoko's lift, Wyvern lashes out with both legs, wrapping them around Kyoko's neck and shoulders with a desperate, crushing strength. It's not enough to cut off Kyoko's air supply, being too sloppily executed to be a choke, but Wyvern's powerful legs and core keep her upright and prevent the Queen's Drop from being completed! All conscious thought gone, the Dame of Damnation begins tightening her grip with all the power she has left, while at the same time using her one good fist to deliver crude hammer strikes to the dome of the champion's head!

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Kicking out of a move like that with a broken arm had to leave Wyvern in a beaten down state, one that Kyoko hoped to finally put an end to with her next move, lifting Wyvern up for a Queen's drop. The shift that brought her in the air was where Wyvern seemed to come alive to try and stop her, clinging to the last chance to keep fighting she had left by holding on to her head with her legs. Catching herself from being dropped, and throwing the Queen off balance, Kyoko took a few steps back trying to stay on her feet. She felt the power in Wyvern's legs around her neck, her last desperate attempt at keeping herself free in this fight, to the champion the challenger felt more like an animal clinging on to it's last hope of winning a fight. But an animal on the ropes was dangerous and Wyvern proved she could still fight when she dropped her fist down on top of Kyoko's head, hitting her over and over again with her only working hand.
"Gggh! Aannggh!" Kyoko screamed, her balance was already hard to keep from being like this and now she was being pelted by blows to her skull that she tried to block by bringing her hands up. This messed her balance up even more, making Kyoko lean the way Wyvern was until she fell backwards. The two were now in a scramble on the mat, the champion could only try and get out from under Wyvern's legs so that she could find another way to finish this brutal match.

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Sheer defiance and willpower is the only thing keeping Wyvern going. Instinct warned her about the danger of Kyoko's incoming attack, and instinct alone helped her to survive it. With her legs in a vice grip around Kyoko's neck and shoulders, the challenger rains down hammerblows on the champion's head, and her vicious strength and animalistic will to keep fighting renders the blows dangerous despite her debilitated state. It's enough to bring the Belly Queen down, but the jarring crash to the mat sends a shockwave through Wyvern's body, once again jarring her loose and hanging arm. The surge of pain that results sends her into an uncontrolled spasm, breaking her hold on Kyoko's neck and sending her rolling flat onto her back in another agonized flurry of motion.
The molten agony of her arm has only gotten worse over time, any good done by her crude setting of the injuries overwritten by her insistence to continue fighting despite the grave situation. Despite this, Wyvern never considers giving up. Even through the unfocused haze that has replaced her vision, she tries to lock her eyes onto Kyoko and get back to her feet. Struggling to rise, Wyvern's coordination is all but gone between pain and exhaustion. It's a miracle she's even able to get to her knees in this state, but somehow, she manages. Nearly blind, she looks around for the blur of purple she knows represents her opponent, although what she plans to do if she finds it is a mystery even to her.

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
The fall turned the two of them into a mess of bodies on the mat that Kyoko had to pull away from. Her head was still confused on how the match wasn't over yet, and Wyvern blocking another finisher wasn't going to help her until she had a moment to think without getting her head smacked. Once she was away from the challenger and able to concentrate she looked around to see what state Wyvern was in...then saw her chance. Right now the challenger was getting up but her arm looked worse and she seemed to be blinded by pain and exhaustion, the effort that had gone into getting her this far was starting to wear out as her actions continued to put her body through too much. Kyoko didn't want to waste any time doing anything that wasn't going to finish the challenger and she would step around to where she was lined up with the corner and Wyvern and then ran in.
Going a little lower she would bring her arms up to grab Wyvern and lift her up, running with her until she was able to drive her into the corner. From there Kyoko would pull back and ram her with a few shoulder tackles to stop Wyvern from getting out of there before she would try to lift her up and make her sit on the top rope. The hard part was grabbing her head and pulling it close where she risked the bitch biting her to escape or something like that, while grabbing her legs and making sure she was up and over on her shoulders, walking around with her until she had space to run and jump for Kyoko's last but biggest finisher the Akan Buster.

Re: Kyoko Akan (c) vs W Y V E R N for the LAW Middleweight Championship
Intentionally or not, Kyoko's adjustment to her position allows her to come at Wyvern from a blind spot, charging in before Wyvern is able to identify her location and attempt to strike back. The new impact brings another fresh surge of overwhelming pain from her arm, and the involuntary shudder that ensues as a result prevents her from mounting any real defense as she's swept off her feet by the larger champion and thrust painfully into the corner. Each subsequent impact from the Champion's shoulder reinforces the pain, keeping her disoriented and unable to mount any real defense.
"...!"
A choked, nearly silent cry is all Wyvern can muster up from emptied lungs. With her good arm she throws down elbows at the Belly Queen's back following the impacts, but the actions are driven by muscle memory and spite and have none of her usual, terrible strength behind them. She pushes back as Kyoko pulls her into position for the Akan buster, but again is unable to muster the strength to resist. Kyoko's fears are warranted; the Dame of Damnation does indeed snap her teeth shut with an audible *click* when Kyoko's flesh comes too close, but the spiteful shot is blind and misses entirely. Without the power to fight Kyoko off, Wyvern is left dangling helplessly in the air in her opponent's grip!

Mostly unable to post. Hoping to return fully by the end of the year.
