Megumi groaned as she was ordered to get out of the ring. Rolling out, she had no choice but to leave Chigusa on her own. As for Chigusa, she couldn't recover quick enough as she was caught in a figure four headscissor, and she grunted as she was held in the hold.

"Nnngghhhh..."

Still, despite the predicament she was in, Chigusa showed no sign of tapping out. She began thrashing and struggling even as the ropes were beyond her reach. She had made a reputation of never submitting to submission holds before, and she would never do it now.

"Ngghhh!! NGGHHH!!" Defiantly, Chigusa would bring her hands onto Ivy's legs and try to pry them off of her. She stomped her feet on the mat as she displayed her stubbornness, refusing to submit even as the referee asked her the question again.

"Trust me Megumi, even after this match is over, remember the name Ivy Aster. That woman's gonna be someone real big real soon," Tiki said to her opponent once they both had gotten outside the ring. Her faith in Ivy was truly strong, though to be fair, it was pretty easy for Tiki to put such high stock in her protege when she was watching her lock Chigusa up with a Headscissor.

Ivy continued to prove Tiki right as she refused to let Chigusa go. The Japanese wrestler was certainly fighting back hard, but her trashing made it look like a lot more to hold down than it was. For all the effort Chigusa was putting into her stomping and resistance, it wasn't really having an impact up neat her head where Ivy was actually attacking.

To her credit, Chigusa was at least still trying to pull Ivy's legs lose with her hands, but that was an escape tactic that rarely worked, and this instance would not be an exception. The Englishwoman had powerful legs, and they would not be pulled loose from beneath Chigusa's chin anytime soon. "Tiki and I may not have gotten the pin, put I am more than willing and able to put you away myself regardless," said Ivy.

Megumi observed from her corner, seeing that Ivy was certainly someone who knew the art of wrestling. Still, she was also confident in her friend, Chigusa. She had never submitted before, and she could tell that she would never start doing it now. Megumi acknowledged Tiki's words by nodding, though she kept watching the fight.

As for Chigusa, it was clear now that whatever she was doing at the moment wasn't helping her much in escaping the hold. So, she would try another approach. Even as she was being continuously weakened by the headscissor, she refused to submit as she would try to roll over as hard as she could, hoping to make it difficult for Ivy to maintain the headscissor.

Still, even Chigusa had her limit. Even if she refused to submit, there might be a point where her body would not be able to take any more abuse, and she was getting closer and closer to that point.

Ivy didn't need a submission from Chigusa. A pin, or more likely in this case, a knockout, would suffice just as well. If her opponent wanted to maintain a streak of non-submission and was willing to pass out to do so, then that wasn't any skin off of the Brit's back so long as Chigusa was eliminated when their battle reached its conclusion.

Ivy was also careful enough that she did not let her advantage make her lax, no matter how large it appeared. As Chigusa attempted to roll over, Ivy pulled her legs in the opposite direction to keep the Japanese wrestler on her back, then turned her upper body in the same direction to counterbalance the shift, so that she would be able to remain stable in case Chigusa attempted to roll back in the other direction.

For as simple as a Figure Four Headscissor may look, Ivy was very meticulous about how she positioned herself in order to maintain it. It was what Tiki had taught her, that treating even basic maneuvers with an exacting care was what separated the technical savants from those who were merely skilled. And if Ivy could hold on just a bit longer, it was what would get her team the first elimination of the match.

Despite Chigusa's refusal to submit, it was clear now that she was nearing her limit. Her movements became much slower, and before long, she stopped altogether. It seemed that she had passed out from the submission hold. The referee would quickly check on her before instructing Ivy to let her go. With her passing out, Chigusa had been eliminated, leaving only Megumi to face both Ivy and Tiki.

As Chigusa was pulled out of the ring to be tended by the paramedics, Megumi grimly stepped into the ring, knowing that she was in quite a disadvantage. She looked at her partner, tempted to rush over to her to see if she was okay, but she knew that Chigusa wanted her to continue the fight, so she would look at the other team.

"Well, I guess it's up to me now..." Megumi muttered as she would get ready to fight. She wanted to see if Ivy wished to remain or if she wanted to tag Tiki in.

Ivy's persistence and refusal to let up on her Headscissor eventually bore fruit. Chigusa's movements slowed down further and further until they eventually came to a stop. She was instructed to release her hold as the referee came to intervene before officially declaring the Japanese Lightweight as eliminated from the match.

"Hah, hah," Ivy breathed audibly, a slight heave in her chest as she stood up. "Well, that's one down," she said, surprised that this was going so well.

"THAT'S IT IVY! YOU GOT HER!" Ivy's head snapped in the direction of Hortensia's voice as her little sister called out to her. She had honestly forgotten that her family was in the front row tonight with how focused she had been on the match itself. She couldn't help but allow a soft smile to grace her face.

"Nice one Ivy," Tiki then said. "It's all yours, finish it if you can. If not, no worries, I'll finish off anything you can't." Ivy's eyes shifted back to her mentor with a nod, before moving to follow Megumi as she came into the ring. The rookie got back into her wrestling stance, feeling better about being left to herself than she would have expected to before this match had started.

With Chigusa eliminated, Megumi knew that it was up to her to deal with this. She looked at Ivy as she entered the ring. She gave her unconscious partner, Chigusa, a glance as she was carried away by the paramedics before she looked back at Ivy.

Having a grim look on her face, Megumi stood before Ivy. She took a deep breath as she readied herself for her clash with her.

Then, without warning, Megumi would sprint towards Ivy before she leaped up, aiming to deliver a running dropkick aimed at her chest. She wanted to catch her off-guard and bring her down. There was no time for her to hesitate. She needed to win this and eliminate this woman.

Though Ivy would not have Tiki's support until she either beat Megumi or was beaten herself, she did not feel alone. Even just knowing that having her mentor present to make up for whatever she couldn't accomplish in the end felt very comforting to her. She was used to pressure, so it was rather nice to have it taken off of her like this.

Megumi may have wanted to catch Ivy off-guard, but it wasn't as if the Englishwoman had anything else to focus on from the moment the brunette stepped into the ring. Having said that, even if Ivy wasn't surprised, Megumi still came in fast and hard. The purplette blocked the incoming Dropkick with her arms, but she was still knocked backwards. in fact, fatigue was building up for Ivy, so she ended up stumbling off balance and falling onto her rear despite having blocked Megumi's attack. Ivy would get back up quickly, but Megumi might have a chance to capitalize if she was both quick and precise.

Megumi managed to land her dropkick on Ivy, knocking her down onto the mat. Quickly, she got herself back up onto her feet and took a look at her opponent. Seeing that Ivy was getting back up, Megumi would try to capitalize on this as she would rush in, holding her arm out before attempting to hit Ivy with a running clothesline, looking to knock her down once more. She was planning to keep Ivy under pressure so that she could gain an upper hand over her.

As Ivy stood up, she saw Megumi coming in hot and high, arm outstretched looking to send the Englishwoman down flat on her back. But it seemed like a bit a hope shot; a big but desperate attack that was hoping Ivy would be careless enough to stand up into it so that the Japanese wrestler could even up the wrestler count as soon as possible after having been put at a disadvantage by Chigusa's defeat.

Unfortunately for Megumi, Ivy kept her head, both figuratively and literally in this case. She recognized what the brunette was going for and kept her head low so that Megumi's Clothesline would pass over. Then as she ran by, Ivy would stick her leg out back and to the side in an attempt to trip Megumi into the ropes. If she succeeded, then the purplette would trail behind her opponent and leap up, extending her legs out in an attempt to catch Megumi with a Flying Headscissor Takedown.

If Ivy's attack was successful, she would slam Megumi's head down hard into the mat with her legs. Then the Brit would try to drag the brunette away from the ropes as she went for the same hold that had finished off Chigusa: a Figure Four Headscissor. Ivy put her lethal legs to work again as she tried to put the finishing touches on this match. Going right for the back to back, Tiki thought. Megumi is the stronger of the two Valkyries. I wonder if she'll go down the same.
