They both fell to the floor from Wyvern's attack, Kyoko took the brunt of the fall for Wyvern landing on top of her. But when they were both on the floor it was clear that Wyvern still hurt herself. The fall prevented her from attacking again, Wyvern was winded and Kyoko was hurt so they both were spending a few seconds on the floor trying to recover and get back up. The moment favored the more experienced Kyoko, who was ready to keep fighting and take advantage of the younger Wyvern's inexperience to turn around and slowly get back. Once she could Kyoko grabbed Wyvern's waist and pulled her up to her feet.

"Big mistake taking this out here." Kyoko said before she would lean back and lift her up to try and drop her down with a German suplex to drop her to the floor back first. Crashing back into the floor and trying to knock the wind out of Wyvern twice.

While the Irish wrestler most likely would have had another of her snappy comebacks for her opponent under normal circumstances, her lack of a functioning diaphragm makes any such clap-back impossible for the time being and makes defending herself verbally or physically quite difficult. While Kyoko catches a nasty elbow in order to get her arms around Wyvern, the challenger's current circumstances mean the blow lacks the force necessary to actually ward the grab off. Accepting the inevitable, Wyvern doesn't struggle as she's lifted into the air, going dead in Kyoko's arms and tucking her head to minimize the damage to her skull and spine.

A strangled exhalation is the only sign of whether or not Kyoko's efforts to keep her opponent winded had proved effective, but the Irishwoman certainly makes no immediate moves in the aftermath. The Champion is back in control.

Kyoko dropped Wyvern back to the padded floor, and though Wyvern was muted in reacting she knew that it hurt. The odd wrestler seemed to act like a terminator but her human body couldn't keep up the same act, and now she had the chance to make sure Wyvern was really hurt. So hurt that she wouldn't hide anything from Kyoko. The Belly Queen would grab her and pull her back up to her feet, then grab her arm and force it between her legs so she could hold her in a pumphandle, then she would move her over to the ring apron before she would lift her up and drop her back down with a flatliner that would send her crashing into the floor again, with less room to turn or minimize the damage.

"I suppose you don't want to keep talking when you're getting dropped on your head?" Kyoko asked after dropping Wyvern. She would try to sit her up so she could throw her back down and make her head and neck land on her knee. "Is that smart mouth out of insults now that you've almost knocked yourself out?" Kyoko asked, drilling Wyvern while she had the chance.

German suplex. Pumphandle flatliner onto the apron. Some type of neckbreaker she can't remember the name of right now. Credit where it was due; Kyoko added a far more technical level to her systematic brutality than Wyvern did. While there was something to be said for the raw ferocity of repeated elbow-strikes to the face, Wyvern has been in a lot of slugfests and they tended to hurt far less than this did. The time since Kyoko had taken control of the match had been a valuable, and painful, lesson in the importance of technical skill in wrestling, even outside of grappling. It wasn't something that Wyvern would forget any time soon, but it also couldn't be her main focus for now. Finally released after being driven into Kyoko's knee, Wyvern flops onto her stomach, seemingly unresponsive at first even as Kyoko taunts her.

"Hue...huehue..."

A deeper chuckle emerges from Wyvern's prone form. This isn't a forced laugh to taunt. Real amusement is making itself known. With some effort, the challenger pushes herself up.

"Bitch...if I was trying to knock myself out...I would've done it already. My saya hit me harder than that when I was 13 just for mouthing off."

Now resting on her knees, she turns her head to look over Kyoko.

"Ah...this takes me back. You done with your little massage yet? I assume you've got something you can do, yeah?"

Wyvern's position is vulnerable and nobody should be able to take a beating like that and bounce back quickly, but for an experienced fighter like Kyoko it will be obvious that she's far from beaten. An incautious approach may have consequences.

Kyoko's beatdown on Wyvern went on until the challenger was back on the floor, while Kyoko was back on her feet mocking her. She'd been able to use Wyvern's mistake against her, but even after knocking her down again and again, Wyvern still managed to laugh at her or start one through pained lips. She was getting back up and speaking to challenge Kyoko on how hard she was hitting and how she was far from done. "I don't recall thinking you were trying to knock yourself out unless you're some horrible masochist. But if this is your way of begging the Queen to hit you harder so you can get off, be my guest." Kyoko said before she grabbed Wyvern's head and pulled it down so she could pull back her leg and start to knee Wyvern in the side of the head over and over again.

She would throw in around 5 knees in a row before she would yank Wyvern up to her feet, ready to punish Wyvern until she was satisfied with the damage. Kyoko pulled her in close and would lift her up for a snap suplex that would send her right down on her back once again. "Unlike your saya I only need to make sure you can't fight back, however long you keep mouthing off won't matter once you're unable to stop me pinning you." Kyoko said circling back to her feet and staying on Wyvern with her punishment.

"Ok, no."

Wyvern doesn't resist Kyoko's grip on her hair, but as soon as the champion drives another knee towards the side of her head the challenger snaps one hand up, catching the blow in mid-flight. While the angle doesn't let her stop the blow dead, and the back of her hand still crashes into her skull, the impact is softened considerably. More importantly, she locks in a death grip around Kyoko's kneecap, squeezing painfully at the edges of the patella. At the same time, she reaches her other hand up, trying to grab a handful of Kyoko's own hair. Yanking down with that hand and pushing up with the other, she tries to tear Kyoko off her feet and into the air over her head!

"I seem to be the only person in this company who isn't some kind of deviant. But even if I was..."

Hefting Kyoko overhead, Wyvern completes the arc and swings her down onto the ground with a modified death valley driver!

"...you of all people..."

Now tangled together on the floor, Wyvern releases her hold. If Kyoko is still holding on, Wyvern tries to pry her fingers loose before seizing the champion's wrist and getting to her feet.

"...brag. Publically. About eating food off of other people's abs."

Cocking her arm back, Wyvern swings her elbow forward, hard enough to carve a bloody furrow in Kyoko's brow if it isn't stopped!

Kyoko pulled Wyvern to her feet despite her trying to talk, whatever she had to say wasn't important, she was going to keep attacking until she was knocked out but Wyvern redirected the force of the knee so that when it cracked her it barely did any damage, then she would sink low by grabbing her knee and keeping it there while she would pull on Kyoko's long hair and force her up in the air, all while mocking her for being a deviant while she was the supposed exception. Wyvern ended that by going down for a Death Valley driver that sent Kyoko to the padded floor.

"Gggaahh!" Kyoko screamed. Thankfully she managed to tuck her chin and keep most of the damage to her back, but the floor always hurt worse than any mat out there, and the top of her back hurt the worst, causing more pain when Kyoko moved her arms when trying to turn. Wyvern stayed on her and went for an elbow that the Queen tried to turn her head and dodge, the quick motion causing some more pain that started to travel towards her neck. "Body shots...aren't even that odd...and it was my girlfriends abs.." Kyoko muttered, as if she took more offense to that being Wyvern's proof that she was a deviant than she did the fact that Wyvern had quickly knocked her back down and completely turned the match around. The champ and the challenger were both proving to be an odd pairing but the fight continued on the outside with Kyoko still on her back trying to fend Wyvern off.

"A year ago, I didn't even know what a 'body shot' was. And I'm not taking this glass house shite from the fecking 'Belly Queen.'"

Not missing a beat as she continues the back and forth, Wyvern continues planning her next step even as Kyoko avoids the elbow at nearly point blank. She needed to remember; Akan was dangerous, and highly skilled regardless of her personal inclincations. Without slowing down, she attempts to backhand Kyoko with the same arm, but something feels wrong. It's like she's forgetting something...

"DOYLE! AKAN! BACK IN THE RING! 9!"

Oh, right. This was a normal match. It had rules.

"Tch."

Clicking her tongue in annoyance, Wyvern grabs Kyoko under her free arm and hauls the older wrestler up, intending to lift her above the apron and toss her under the ropes to return the match to its proper place. If the champion doesn't resist, Wyvern does so and swiftly follows, pulling herself up and rolling back into the squared circle in one smooth motion. She pulls herself up, ready to continue her assault, but the break in the action might have given the Belly Queen a chance to recover...

Kyoko scoffed at the bias of Wyvern's words, especially since now she was implying her girlfriend was odd for knowing what a body shot was. "I didn't know until then either, that doesn't make them uncommon you fucking idiot." Kyoko spat, despite it hardly being the best place to speak from. She had just dodged a potentially skull rocking elbow and needed to get up, but Wyvern was still on top and Kyoko needed to change that. Her planning was interrupted by the ref demanding them get in the ring, with the count from the outside being so close to 10 the only reason it hadn't was because the ref was stalling to avoid a championship match from ending in a draw. Wyvern quickly pulled Kyoko up by her hair and would toss the champ inside to follow and keep attacking her. Kyoko had no choice but to follow or risk a count-out end to her first match. She refused to let this match end indecisively and risk becoming a laughing stock of a champion.

Once she was inside she would wait for Wyvern to come pick her up, following when she grabbed her hair again. Kyoko would wait until she got on one leg before pushing herself up and throwing a punch right for Wyvern's belly. She would step in as quickly as possible and throw her entire arm into the punch to not only catch Wyvern by surprise but make sure it hurt after Wyvern had avoided her punches earlier.

"That's nice. It's still weirder than masochism."

Wyvern snaps back at Kyoko after the champion's continued defenses. This was going nowhere, and it was distracting. The entire subject is aggravating, pointless, and caused by her own compulsive need to correct what she perceived as misconceptions. Determined to move on, Wyvern rolls into the ring. Getting to her feet first, she approaches the downed Belly Queen and seizes another fistful of her hair, and begins to pull her back to her feet.

"But, it doesn't mat-HOOG!"

Driven to distraction by her irritation, Wyvern drops her careful defenses against the Queen's legendary belly shots, and pays for it when Kyoko sucker-punches her hard enough to briefly lift her off her feet. The pain is intense, sending out a spiderweb of involuntary muscle contracts throughout her torso. It feels like her entire body is folding in around the champion's fist. One leg buckles as soon as Kyoko withdraws her hand, bringing the challenger down into a kneeling position. It takes all of her limited self-control just to keep her jaw shut and the contents of her mouth from spilling out. For now, even her constant defiance seems to have been put to the side as she struggles to reassert control of her body.
