Wrestle For a Cause
The cameras fade in on a full house in the arena. The stadium was packed to the brim with roaring fans all over the seats from the nosebleeds to the front row! They cheer for and chant the moniker of a masked woman inside the squared circle. No opponent. No match. No fanfare. Just one smiling Super Kitty who hinted to the fans earlier tonight that she had a small announcement to make.
"LAW Universe! My people! How are y'all doing tonight?!" Kat spoke into her mic and looked around the arena. She paused for a moment to let the crowd express themselves. Many in attendance just seemed happy to see The Super Kitty!
"I wanted to thank everyone for all the excitement and the buzz. I wanna thank management for giving me this time. I wanna thank you guys in the stands and you guys watching at home for tuning in, even though I didn't really give everyone much to go off of." The luchadora scratched the back of her masked head and laughed her thought off before finding her composure. Kat would grip her microphone with both hands and ready herself. She often liked to lighten the mood with the odd quip or joke, but the moment to come would prove to be one of the more warm-hearted, mushy moments of her career.
"Earlier tonight, in an interview, I asked the fans to turn out and tune in and I'm happy you all did! Normally, I'd be showing up to the ring to do what I do best- to wrestle and put on a match that captivates the fans and gets the attention of the girls that go in and out of that locker room in the back."
"But tonight, I'm gonna try to be just as good at something else. I'm gonna try to do something for thousands- well, really millions of people out there that care about this great sport of ours. I'm gonna try to make a difference in one of the few ways I know how." Hart nodded before pointing at the giant monitors above the entrance ramp. On it, images would fade in and out while Kat explained herself. The crowd followed along as the brawny blonde talked her way through a project she had been working on between her matches. Images of Kat shaking hands with LAW officials and staff workers, her appearing at gyms instructing prospective students, and so forth.
"You guys might know that, on top of the sponsorships for this product and that product or whatever, LAW also does charity work. Work that I try to involve myself in where I can. A little while back, I cleared 100 wishes granted with the Make-A-Wish foundation. I try to pitch in with other things, too." She trailed off.
"But somewhere between the autograph signings, and helping the ring crew set up and clean up, giving lessons in the gym to Young Lionesses and newer wrestlers, and all this other stuff, I started to get some big ideas."
"What you're seeing on screen there. That's me trying to start my own foundation, my own cause. The Hart Foundation."
"It's exactly what you'd expect from The Super Kitty you guys have come to know and love. If there's one thing I love as much as sending the fans home happy, it's wrestling. And after knocking on enough doors at LAW HQ and sending Dan DeFranco wayyyyy more emails than I probably should have, I finally cleared the hurdles I needed to in order to get my own passion project going. Hart smiled and nodded to various fans in the crowd before directing her attention to the screen again. More short clips and images played to help show what this passion project of hers was all about.
The Hart Foundation is a project that will create pro wrestling gyms, schools, and hotspots in many places all over the States and beyond. And these facilities will help local communities with food drives, donations to places like libraries and local schools, and so much more. And to prove that it's something I believe in, not only will a portion of my LAW salary be donated to helping it get off the ground, but a portion of all the proceeds from Super Kitty mech going forward will be donated to the Hart Foundation so that people everywhere can come together in safe spaces to learn about the culture, history, and practices of the wrestling that you fans- you good people, enjoy seeing from us athletes each and every week."
"It means a lot to me not just because I love wrestling, but because I want to pave the way for other people to leave their mark on this industry. I want the next generation to have an easier time than I did. Kat stepped to the ropes to lean over them and speak on her own experiences. Her tone was somehow more genuine as she shared some of the tougher parts of her own journey into the world of wrestling and how she wanted to make that journey easier on others.
See, one thing that separates me from a lot of the biggest names in this company, your Kyoko's, your Alizeh's, your GASTER's, your Ostberg's- one thing that separates me from them is...well, I didn't have a mom or a dad or a sister or a cousin that was already a big deal in wrestling. I didn't have a foothold in this sport. I had a two-hour bus ride to the other side of town so that I could get some practice in after school or after my day job. I had to clean rings and locker rooms and hallways when I couldn't afford to pay for training. I had to drive out for hours to make shows one or two towns over so I could wrestle for enough money to cover gas for the drive back home. I know this sounds like a sob story, but it's not. Stay with me for a sec. Hart extended her gloved palm to the crowd to motion for them to bear with her for the point she was arriving at.
Before I became The Super Kitty, I was just a kid who was trying to get good enough. I was just a girl trying to get myself in front of the right people, trying to train with the right athletes to learn how to become a success. And what I want to do with The Hart Foundation is to make that journey easier for other people that were just like me. I've said it often throughout my career that I was just like any of you out there in the crowd or any of you watching at home. And if The Hart Foundation makes it easier for anyone out there to become a wrestler or a referee- if it helps make a wrestling fan out of even one person who wouldn't have come to learn about it otherwise...then that's a big win in my book. And hopefully, it's a win in all of yours as well" Kat finally put her mic down. Her shoulders slacked a bit as if she had been waiting to get this news out there for some time. By the time she got less tense, the crowd was already all cheers and smiles.
The Super Kitty had done a good thing for fans and wrestling enthusiasts everywhere. At least, she hoped she did. And the fans rejoiced with approval for her efforts and for the good The Hart Foundation would hopefully do for many years to come!

Thunk. Thunk. Thunk-.
Lights, the big ones, all shut off one by one. The monitors branded a fat Chrome Skull branded right in the middle of the shot, loading, hissing out purple smoke and laughed in a deep, mocking way, saying, “Oh noo! The broadcast is now ours!” Said the voice of Dot, programmed with the skull graphic.
The rest of the lights powered down and left the crowd in a state of slight panic. The Titantron remained on, sparked out its bottom, glitching glitch like a broken Television, buzzing with failure and dead static. Then, purple lights returned around the arena. The same colour as the virus who now spoke throughout the stadium in deep autotune. “-Wrestling- doesn't have a safe place with me around.” She paused, then started again, “Hello Kat. Must feel good returning with a new lie. The pure-hearted underdog finally makes it, then creates a non-profit for pure, selfless reasons to push change. The Nepo Foundation: Tax-exempt, well-paid and with infinite PR perks, screwin' over the rats of tomorrow because we dumbed down the skill level even further than what it -already- is.”
Another pause, then she continued.
“Makes you wonder if she’s doing this to cover up her time away. All that underdogging and scraping by is now catching up with you, slowing the Super Kitty down into a boring… grey… soon-to-be punch-meat. Retirement plans. What do we think about that Dot?”
"...I think I need a summary after that soliloquoy! Me oh my but our MMMMMASCOT OF MERCH just loooooves the melifluous melody of her voice. HmmMMMMmmmm hm. Hm. Let me just pour that into our summarize function of ye olde GPT-Hart here—"
The lights flashed, as if a power-surge had gripped the grid, and Dot's warbling electronic voice gave way to first static, then pop! And then a familiar voice:
"...LLLLLAW Universe! My people! How are y'all doing tonight?! Thank you all for coming so I can remind you that I, Katherine Ssssssupercat Hart, am better than you! I'm better than everyone, ESPEEEEEECIALLY Kyoko, Alizeh, Gaster, and Ostberg! Why? Because unlike those NEPO BABIES I used to be one of the poors."
"And THAT'S why, now that I'm rich, I'm naming a foundation after me DEDICATED...drrrrrrum roll please...to finding ME—Er—WRESTLING some new fans. And Maybe—just maybe!—I'll even deign to train some of these otherwise hopeless nobodies so they can lick my boots in gratitude!"
Booooo! Hiss. The crowd jeered as the Frankenstein voice, all Dot yet 100% Kat, bounced and sang through the speakers, until it hit another wall of static, and another POP, and Dot's voice came right back.
"...Mmmmmmmmmrrrr, the best charity for THIS foundation would be to toss it and her out with her litter, because you KNOW they're gonna call any trainees she hocks out—"
Dot and Spectre rappelled from the dark of the arena, landing together on opposite turnbuckle pads, perching with a squat and hands between their legs to touch the top-turnbuckle. They finished their sentence . “Dead meat.”

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
A feel-good moment at LAW was hardly something that much of the roster could resist the urge to interrupt. Kat knew that all too well. It's happened to her a number of times throughout her storied career, but this....?! This was unprecedented!
The luchadora's head was on a swivel as she stood there in the ring, her gaze snapping to each light that went out one after another in quick succession! The commentators covering these events speculated about technical difficulties and power failures. But the imagery that came up on the monitors, including the big screen above the ring and the entrance ramp sowed feelings of concern and worry all over the arena! The Super Kitty leaned over the ropes of the ring and urged the fans to keep calm. But Dot's voice pierced the atmosphere, only adding more uneasiness and tension! Whatever it was that was happening right now, it was no accident! When the purple lights beamed down, Kat made her way back to the center of the ring. The SWAT Cats doubled up her fists! Her eyes darted all over the arena as she tried to hone in on the source of the sabotage! And the source of the warped, distorted voice that reached every corner of the stadium!
Did someone hijack the production truck? Rig the rafters? If they were capable of this much, what else did they rig? Is anyone in danger here? Could I protect a fan or a member of LAW staff if this - whoever this is, this interloper were to target them?
All these thoughts and more raced through the masked blonde's mind as she stood there, battle-ready in the middle of the ring, purple lighting and all!
"Hey, don't be shy! If it's me you want then come down to ring. I promise I respond to slander better in person!" Hart called out during the second pause. But the dastardly duo continued!
Dot's preparations for an AI-generated summary induced a power surge and lighting effects that were disorienting, to say the least! The flashing lights and the warbling voice caused just as much panic as the initial light show.
"Oh, no. Chat GPT? Really?" Hart raised an eyebrow in annoyance. The summary that followed was anything but flattering. And the fans agreed! Amidst the torrent of boos from the crowd filling the arena, there was a single exasperated sigh and comment from the masked blonde.
"Ugh, I don't...I don't sound anything like that, do I....? ACK!" But her irritation was cut off by a static and a loud POP! Hart covered her ears for a second before perking up to catch the rest of the spiel.
Finally, the pair of saboteurs made their way down to the ring, rappelling down from seemingly out of nowhere! The purple lighting made them look all the more menacing as they took their perches on opposite corners of the ring! Both were dressed like supervillains! A wily, hammer-wielding gal with a black and pink color scheme and a helmet with what seemed to be an LCD display and a redheaded prototypical femme fatale, complete with a cape and all!
Kat looked to Dot and then to Spectre as the two finished their dramatic entrance.
"I'd appreciate it if people didn't plan to bully Hart Foundation folks before the whole thing even gets off the ground." Kat began, her gaze still alternating between both women. The atmosphere was still tense. There was still hysteria amidst the crowd! The commentators remarked on how it seemed that things could break down here at any moment!
"So to who exactly do I owe the pleasure of setting up this little ambush? Not to mention all The Super Kitty slander and the plot to stamp out a charitable cause?" Hart took a stance again, doubling up her fists and preparing herself for an assault from either side!
"Come on, introduce yourselves! And come a little closer while you're at it! You guys have the ambiance and the cool entrance covered, but I wanna see if the evil plan you two hatched together covered the part where you actually have to back up all that mess you're talking!" Kat raised her voice. She readied herself to throw hands! And as she goaded both ladies, the crowd's panic began to transition to cheers of support for The Super Kitty standing up to the two villainous vixens that seemed to conspire the hijack this promo and Kat's own Hart Foundation for their own nefarious purposes!

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
Phone cameras started to flash like whack-a-mole on steroids. Voices from the front row, emboldened, on the edge of their seats, waiting to see two ladies get their faces filled with Kat-fist! Some held out for the other members. "Tracy and Aurora would have these two pinned in two minutes flat! And Kat could do it in one!" Then someone else replied, “I give it a minute thirty no matter which one it is. Just watch.” A confident wrestling dweeb-fuck with a huge forehead, short hair with a bald patch, blue plaid, jeans, likely a millennial.
Fiiiiiigures.
Spectre stood first from her post, rolling her neck from her shoulders. “Alright.” Her grin grew, wide and almost… static. “No more tricks. Just…” She folded her arms behind her back, then started to tightwalk the top-rope like her personal sidewalk, hardly flinching or looking. Eyes, purple, red and cat-like, locked on the prize in-front of her. “A fair fight.”
Then she jumped in, soared into the air with a front-flip and rotating twist. Her arms tucked close. The cape chased her around like a bending turbine blade. But she landed without problem with both feet together, tall-postured, looking down with smug features. When she glanced upward, she asked in plain smug, “Ready?” Then snapped her fingers.
—
Ready?
Gee Speck, I don't know. Am I?
Dot crooked her head to one side, hunching forward from her ringpost like a gargoyle leaning out over its balcony. Her visor lit up—one eyeless LED jack O'Lantern grin from one edge of the monitor to the other.
Snap.
She exploded off her perch. Back went the hammer, and the way the wind whipped past her bare shoulders felt like she was cutting through the air with a neon-streak. Her boot slammed the mat, then one stride, two strides—
She felt as buzzed as a high-voltage wire—FUCK but she wanted to cackle. Keeping quiet while she charged for Kat's blindspot was like holding back a dam with her thumb.
Then she SWUNG—not for the head. The head, like all great gloriousness, belonged to the Captain. Not for the gut, for Kat's was an oaken trunk. Nah. The knees. Knees that would crack like brittle chalk! Knees that would kneel.

Like @Monsy said in the last post, we had a blast writing these together! Gonna drop the disclaimers after this, but in general Speck/Dot posts are cowritten

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
The crowd was firmly behind The Super Kitty here. Her name carried some weight in LAW and the world of wrestling, as did The SWAT Cats as a group. Their reputation and status in the company so often made them the target of wrestlers who were hoping to make a name for themselves. But none of that seemed to faze the villainous pair in the slightest! Very few of the more nefarious women on the LAW roster carried themselves with the sheer amount of confidence and self-assuredness of Spectre. And fewer still could emulate the chaotic energy and enigmatic presence of the faceless feline, Dot.
A less seasoned wrestler would have written these girls off as cannon fodder, just like many of the fans in the stands did out loud. But Kat Hart knew better. Sure, it would have been a great gag for Spectre and Dot to arrange such an elaborate intrusion and entrance with no real game plan. But that was exactly the problem. This was all far too elaborate and far too well-planned for there to be no substance to go along with the style. The luchadora was certain that wasn't the work of a basement-dwelling hacker and her cosplayer best friend. Dot and Speck had a plan in mind, and Kat kept her guard up as she tried to piece it together!
"Yeah, like I'd buy that for even one second...." Kat's eyes honed in on Spectre as she effortlessly walked down the top rope like it was a tightrope. She put her dukes up and pushed the distance when Spectre took flight.
A puzzled look formed on the masked blonde's face when Spectre asked her question. True to her cat gimmick, her ears perked up not one moment later. Dot descended from her perch and sensing that big movement, Kat quickly turned to face her! That hammer was a scary sight. The whole visual was of neon streaks accentuating the movements of a chick with an LED screen for a face charging in with a huge hammer cocked back was just about the last thing Kat ever expected to be standing across the ring from! But that wasn't important right now!
The Super Kitty's blue eyes narrowed. She took a step forward. When she saw the hammer's arc drop low, so did she! There was no telling what that massive mallet was made from. Perhaps Kat could have caught the face of the hammer in the palm of her hand. It wouldn't be too farfetched for a woman if her size, skill, and rapport. But there were still too many variables and too many unknowns to go for something risky!
"Gotcha!" Kat commented as she slid forward towards Dot and looked to grasp the top of the hammer's handle, right under the hammer's head! If Kat managed to halt the hammer and Dot, she would follow up immediately!
From here, Kat would look to slip behind Dot and keep a grasp on the hammer's handle! Hart would try to rise to her feet and get a second hand on the handle, sandwiching Dot between her impressive, muscled biceps with the hammer in front of the faceless feline! Kat would lift the hammer like a she was bicep curling a barbell and pull it towards herself to trap Dot in her grasp. Should things go her way here, the luchadora would turn towards Spectre with Dot in tow.
"This looks like a fair fight to you?!" Hart would say through clenched teeth as she summoned her strength to keep Dot restrained!

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
She was expecting a fall any moment. Once Dot goes low, bringing them to heel, she could then delight herself in punting this kickmeat’s head into dreamland and her test tables. Her smile itched and pulled at the corners, wanting to sprout in full glory as HER, yes ‘her’ Dot fulfilled another task wonderfully, as trained and trusted.
The catch biggened her eyes for a tic, keeping the ‘phew’ inside her head. Who’s the ball dropper now, dingle-fuck?. Her expression froze to a grin that hadn’t moved since—her jaw motioned as they struggled, watching as Kat chose not to dispatch Dot, but restrain her before Spectre’s very eyes. The crowd’s smile started to heal. Dimples multiplied by a hundred every second. There was rumbling—hope which had been lost since these two arrived. Their sudden shout took to Spectre’s eardrums and lightly scratched them, making her shoulder twitch and head flinch to look towards the loudest source.
All of them. Parasites.
She imagined Dot’s face to calm in the moment, all stressed, looking at her through that digitized face while pushing against the hold, trying to put her leg behind Kats, if not to trip — then to slow her down, calling on Boss silently to tag-in.
She peered with a side eye and rising sneer. After a quick re-examination of Kat’s positioning, remembering her diagrams, she selected one from her mental library. “Punchmeat says what?” Then she raced forward, going into a cartwheel, then a back hand-spring, then rolled onto her back so her head was positioned between their feet, her legs stacked up, knees pulled in and feet together.
Poised and ready in a split-second window.

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
One moment she's soaring, the next—Gong fuckin' dong. The hammer slams against a concrete slab and all the force rattles down the shaft into your girl's shoulders and spine, and her whole body vibrates in a way that aches in all the joints.
Pigshit she thought, but did not say, though she made her feelings plenty clear as Kat wheeled her about with bicep vice. She kicked! She bucked! A set of exclamation marks eight wide — !!!!!!!! — flashed across the screen, followed after by a pair of huge pink eyes with glaring eyebrows.
Not that any of that made much difference against the colossal strength holding her in place.
—To be real, it was a bit of a concern. If Kat really squeezed in with those biceps, how much damage could she do to a smooth fiberglass dome such as Dot's? It was rated to take a knocking, but...well, all physical matter comes with its attendant limits, no? What if her black sheen cracked like an egg, the electrical components of her gleaming pink identity sparking and smoking like so many spent fireworks. What if her mask sloughed off her and—
But HERE CAME THE CAPTAIN!
Not paying a bit of mind to that fair fight whiner bullshit, of course, just charging right across the mat—and you bet Dot could see right where it was going.
It was going to hurt. Bad. But despite that, the Dot went still and lifted her jaw while a smirking devil with a grin as tall as it was wide formed on the visor.
CRACK! The boots slammed Dot's jaw as Spectre-on-Dot violence shot fireworks of pain erupting into Dot's head! She felt a crash of nausea, disorientation. But it would it would be worth it, because if it went well, her hard black helmet would slam up and into Kat's jaw.
La duxieme crrrrrACK!!

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
Chaos ensued.
As it often does when someone in this company tries to do something nice. One moment, you're promoting a foundation aimed at making this wild, crazy world of pro wrestling more accessible, the next moment, a pair of villainesses are blitzing you in front of a roaring crowd. A crowd cheering the chance to see The Super Kitty hold her own!
They didn't call the brawny blonde luchadora Super Kitty for nothing, of course. Dot and Spectre didn't give her the time or the opportunity to think this through. No time to process the fact that this was feline wrestler-on-feline wrestler violence. No time to work out why the caped woman on the turnbuckle was auditioning for a spot in her rogue's gallery. Only enough time for a wrestler of Hart's aptitude to follow her instincts and react! A more callous or cutthroat woman would have looked to dispatch Dot the second they laid hands on her. But not Kat. From a pragmatic standpoint, Dot was leverage. From Kat's perspective, Dot's capture was an opportunity to maybe diffuse this situation.
"Could you guys drop the punch meat, thing? I don't know who you guys are or what you want but-" Her words and her hold over the struggling, LCD screen-faced girl paused by Spectre's sudden moves!
Surely, this real-life comic book villainess didn't intend to attack them both, right? To lay hands on her own henchwoman for the mere chance at taking it to LAW's fan-favorite Super Kitty?!
POP!!!
The sound of Spectre's kick connecting was eclipsed by the loud pop and crunch that was the back of Dot's helmet connecting with Kat's jaw! A loud, concerned cry echoed out from the crowd! Kat immediately reeled back, letting Dot go in favor of covering her hurting, chiseled jaw!
The Super Kitty wordlessly staggered back several steps to seek refuge by the ropes! She was hunched over, with one hand on her jaw and the other on the top rope! Kat was in a state! And after seeing the lengths that this disorderly duo was willing to go to, perhaps sacrificing each other in the name of achieving their goals, so were the commentary team and the fans bearing witness to this premeditated ambush!

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
Getting her feet underneath her again was an easy play of rolling forward and catching her feet underneath herself. After standing, there was a little micro variable in her plan here. . . That being whether or not her beloved sword and shield here had her hard-drive corrupted by that reboot to the jaw. Seeing her wobble and fight off the itch to timber was heart-warming as it was adorable, but guiltless. And that's what she gets for fuckin' up in the first place! HAH! -- "Yo." Spectre spoke plain, reached, then grabbed Dot's hand to clasp palms together.
She squeezed, then waited for the squeeze back and look directly back into her eye. Once she got that, her decree was simple: "Shoot me up."
Then with a little rough grace, they joined hands and Dot's boots dug right into Spectre's waist-line. The Virus fell forward as if to collapse on Dot, but the thrust of those boots came with the force of a loaded 8-pounder firing her in an upward arc, head-over-heels in a monkey flip. It was graceful, well-timed, enough for a photoshoot to capture the smile she carried through what she knew to be executed to total perfection.
The landing would be on Kat's hunched over head, immediately falling forward in a counter-clockwise turn towards the apron. Her legs would hook under Kat's arms, attempting to restrain, half of a tarantula hold. Her size would sorely lack the ability to reach those feet proper, let alone suspend, so chose the next best thing: taking her five boney knuckles and thrusting them between those muscled greek columns she called thighs. Right in the cunt.
The last move of their combo was all Dot.

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
Quirky, eccentric wrestlers were a dime a dozen at LAW. But even as far as the erratic and peculiar in wrestling went, Spectre and Dot took the cake! No one aside from those two could make heads or tails of why they appeared tonight or what they hoped to achieve, but right now in the heat of the moment, Kat could tell you that their brand of "teamwork" was about as vexing as it was effective!
"I've never seen anything like that before..." Hart thought aloud. No way that helmet was sanctioned for wrestling matches! But what were rules and regulations to agents of chaos like these?!
Grace and technical ability/execution gave way to a twisted, chaotic synergy between The Malevolent Virus and The Electric Lynx! The luchadora was still reeling when Spectre came flipping her way. Somehow that long, dark cape didn't compromise her aerodynamics as she hurtled through the air. Kat set aside the pain in her mouth and head and doubled up her fists. But before she could react meaningfully or counter, Spectre flew overhead! The one step the luchadora was able to take forward was walked back when the villainess flipped over Kat, hooking her legs over the heavyweight's muscled arms and throwing her body over the ropes in the process!
"Ngh!" Hart grunted. Stunned or not, she knew a Tarantula Hold when she felt it. As one of the most technically sound women on the roster, Kat knew full well that Specter would struggle to grasp her titanic legs! Which made it all the more shocking and made her all the more susceptible when she found her footing and steadied herself, keeping her feet a shoulder's width apart, inadvertently opening herself up to a heinous and crowd-displeasing Low Blow from the dastardly redhead!
Kat would wordlessly collapse into a heap on the canvas! The brawny blonde would fall onto her knees, and her face would meet the canvas! Both her hands raced between her thighs to cover her delicates, and she'd kick the mat in pain repeatedly as Spectre and Dot relished in the rapid succession of echoing boos throughout the arena!
