Dynasty of Champions

Tonight, it was time for the Morgan Dynasty to make an announcement. And there was no better person to do that than the leader and mouthpiece of the entire faction - none other than Cynara Morgan. As a one-time AHW United States Champion in her heyday and the woman who put apartment wrestling on the map, if anyone was going to draw eyes to what the stable had in store, it was her. And when Cynara emerged from the curtains and made her way down to the ring, her head held high and her back straight with a regal aura about her, the cheers she got only served as a reminder that that fame she had chased after for so long was finally back - and she couldn't have asked for anything better.

"If you don't mind?" Cynara said to a stagehand as she came to the apron. "A woman of my age should watch her step, y'know..." The worker, knowing full well what sort of authority Cynara threw around, let out a gulp, but pulled down the ropes for her. "Thank you," she added, climbing up the steel steps and into the ring. There, she was handed a microphone - and with a smug grin on her face, she looked up to greet the watchful eyes of millions around the world.

"Folks, tonight is a big night for the Morgan Dynasty. But really...isn't every night? I mean, think about it. Just a few years ago, I was languishing in obscurity - just a washed-up old lady, past her prime; if anyone recognized me, it was as the trophy wife to the head of a major publishing house. But then, I was lucky enough to get picked up by the fine folks here at LAW, and things have never looked brighter. Only now can I truly stand here, hearing all of you cheering and chanting my name, and know that we are back on the map, baby!" That only drew a few more cheers from the crowd - but Cynara continued.

"I want to talk for a little bit about what we've accomplished, as Morgans. There's a lot of champions in this family of ours. I don't say that to brag, folks, that's just a fact. Between myself and my daughter Mina, we've got two, count 'em, two AHW US champs - mother and daughter; a true generational legacy. But - and now, I really am going to brag - it doesn't stop there. Because the Morgan Dynasty is bigger than just my family. And we're about to claim one more championship - one a little closer to home. But don't just take my word for it...let's hear from the lady of the hour herself, shall we?"

Cynara stepped aside - and as soon as the music came over the speakers, the fans knew just who she was talking about. Just moments later, that very same woman would emerge through the curtains, her back held straight and her chest puffed out. Maxine Rossi - the self-proclaimed World's Sexiest Love Machine, and now the muscle of the Morgan Dynasty!

Maxine climbed up over the ropes, running her hands through her hair as she posed for a few flashing cameras. Then, taking the microphone from Cynara, it was her turn to address the crowd. "That's right, everybody!" she said. "You've seen it all already. The Morgan Dynasty has taken me from where I was - which was already on top, I'll remind y'all - and brought me even higher. Cynara here has helped me reach the potential I was always destined for! I'm nothing but grateful for all the hard work she's done for me...but, if I might just say one thing more? I think Ms. Morgan is selling us short. The Morgans aren't just a dynasty of champions. They're a dynasty of champions across the wrestling world!"

"Yeah, you heard me! Remember what she said - she was champion of the apartment wrestling scene in her day, back when it was first sweeping the world by storm, and now her daughter is carrying on her legacy in AHW. Now, we're crushing the competition in LAW - in more ways than one!" She slapped her own behind to punctuate that point. "LAW is the Morgans' first foray into professional wrestling, and it's there that they've launched their career into the mainstream. And with that comes its own opportunities - opportunities in LAW, and beyond!"

"That's right - with mainstream success in LAW comes connections! Our partner promotion - World Frontier Pro Wrestling - is gearing up for its Frontier Across Europe tour, bringing fourteen live events across the continent. And Mr. DeFranco's been so kind as to allow LAW's champions to defend their titles on the shows! Well...consider this here an announcement! When WFPW comes to Nottingham Arena in England...Alaina Sanders, the Amazon herself, will be there, defending the LAW Heavyweight Championship! And y'know who else will be there?"

The announcement of a title defense in the cards was enough to spur on another burst of cheers - and it was obvious just what Maxine meant. But she would play up the moment all the same, planting a hand on her own chest. "That's right, THIS bad bitch right here! Folks, you heard it here first! Come this summer, there'll be a new Morgan Dynasty champion in town. And Alaina, if you're hearing this..." Maxine leaned down into the camera, jabbing a finger in its direction. "Yeah, you better be ready!"

With that, Maxine let the microphone drop, turning to exit the ring to a chorus of cheers. Cynara, all the while, hung back with a smirk on her face. The Morgan Dynasty was growing stronger and stronger, and they wouldn't be stopped!
