Sapphire Calls Out the Champ! (Discord thread)

Vera has been riding on high, having bounced back from her string of losses and gotten a good number of wins back, trying to head towards the top echelon of LAW wrestlers.

As such, she requested a moment to challenge a particular woman in LAW ring tonight, with her theme song playing, and she herself dance-walking towards the ring, before getting in, microphone already in hand:

“Good evening lovely folks! Now, as you may or may not know…I’ve been getting quite a few wins recently. Quite big ones too! And I am quickly making my way up and up towards breaking that ceiling…the title belt ceiling…”

“…and tonight, I decide: “what the heck…I am gonna shoot straight through!” And with that said…ALAINA SANDERS!”

Just the name of the Amazon brought cheers from the crowd…which angered Vera a little bit on the inside: “I CHALLENGE YOU TO COME DOWN HERE TO GET YOUR ASS BEAT BY ME!!!”

The crowd and Vera did not have to wait long to get a response from the LAW Heavyweight champion. Her music played and Alaina came out wearing a one piece tiger print swimsuit with matching kneepads as well as boots. She had a scowl on her face as she stood at the top of the ramp. Alaina started to walk down towards the ramp, raising a mic up to speak as soon as she entered the ring.

"Vera... you have won some matches and that deserves to be recognized for sure. However if you think calling me out is going to lead to you taking me down you are mistaken. Honey the champion has the best, longest record in LAW and my previous career stops make me a bona fide great. You are like the flavor of the month. If you want a shot at this title I am happy to give it to you, but you are going to be the one laid out after the bell. So tell me Vera what match am I going to beat you in?"

Alaina finished and stood with her arms crossed, glaring a hole through her challenger. Shutting her big mouth was going to be priceless for the amazon.

Vera would hold her breath, as if forgetting how the process of intaking and exhaling the air went, once Alaina has hit the ring with her belt in hand.

Truth was…the blunette was nervous.

More nervous than she had ever been in her life. As confident in herself as she was, especially on the high of her victories…she was now standing in the ring with one of the best women in the business.

…and she would prove that she is better!

“I have been flavor of the year since I’ve came to LAW so far, Sanders! And I don’t need any trickery or going out of the arena to take you down! I will beat you in a regular wrestling match, fair and square, and get you to admit that I am the better woman!”

Vera has learned how to hide her fear for a while. She couldn’t have done it in Japanese showbiz without this skill. So as she smirked, and squared up against the champion, some of the crowd actually believed that maybe…just maybe…they were looking at the next champion!

“Do you accept, Amazon?”

Alaina smiled and stepped up with a serious look on her face. "Oh I accept, I will see you in the ring. I Can't wait to show you what a champion wrestler looks like in between the ropes." Alaina said holding her championship up high as the crowd cheered. Alaina would smile as she looked Vera in the eyes before turning around the leave, happy to have another challenger for her championship.
