Too say it was a rough week for Deku was an understatement. It had been damn awful for him ever since his losing streak was extended further by Alois, someone who also had been on a losing streak which made it worse. Granted Alois had to resort to underhanded tactics to do so, but in Deku's mind it actually made it even worse. Knowing he was that close to winning and only lost cause he fell for the literal oldest trick in the book at Alois's hands. Didn't help that the blonde was using the victory for all kinds of clout, culminating in... whatever abomination the boy had made out in the ring prior to his introduction.
Taking a very deep breath to try and calm down and focus himself before his music started Deku would focus up and step through the curtain, coming out to a higher than average reception. A testament to just how unlikable Alois was compared to well... just about anyone else. Coming down sporting a significantly more casual look with a far more humble entrance the differences between the two was just as stark outside of a match as in and it would only become more apparent as the green haired boy took a mic before entering the ring, eyeing the Brit warily with a glare already forming up on his face before he raised the mic. "Alois... I'll be honest.. you won. You got you're moment congrats. But we both know you only won cause you cheated, and the only reason I agreed to this was so I could get a rematch." Deku said as blunt as a baseball bat while staring right into Alois's eyes, refusing to take a seat and just starting the blonde down. "So let's get this show of yours over with." Deku said evenly before waiting to see Alois's response to his no nonsense and direct method of going about this 'show' of Alois's.
Taking a seat and leaning back against it, it would seem that Alois's assurance of a rematch had placated Deku for the moment to at least try and sit through whatever the blonde had. But of course it was just the brit trying to further gloat over his win, starting with a 'fun fact' about Deku's name, only to use it to reference his win in probably the most obnoxious way possible.
Which then allowed Alois to springboard into a rant about the crowd, 'lecturing' Deku about how little the crowd mattered and that he was just a puppet so long as he stuck with his current gimmick. Taking a deep breath when the blonde appeared to be done Deku would raise the mic to his lips.
"First of all... 'Deku' kanji actually refers to being able to do something. Like Im going to beat you when we fight again." Deku said with determination laced in his voice as he called out Alois for his dubious translation before continuing. "Secondly... we wouldn't have a business if it wasn't for these people." Deku said while gesturing out to the crowd which got a immediate pop.
Not done yet however Deku would keep the mic leveled to his mouth as he continued. "Every show, every check, every pay per view, only happens because of them. Even if they don't 'win' me a match, they still cheer for me to do it, they motivate me, and unlike you I value that from them, maybe if you actually cared about someone other than yourself you'd see and appreciate them as much as I do." Deku shot back, getting a bit personal as he glared heatedly at Alois.
It was small, but a smile found its way to Deku's face. Primarily because of the crowd's decision to try and derail Alois's attempts at talking with a WHAT chant. Something Deku would normally disapprove of, but in this case he was willing to let it slide since the person on the receiving end was more than deserving of it.
Unfortunately however Alois was admittedly, a bit more clever than the average person to take a WHAT chant, and was able to turn it right around on the fans, humiliating them in the process and making Deku narrow his eyes in response. Especially as Alois began talking. Once again bad mouthing him and his decision to stick by the fans, but this time he didn't mince words.
No the foul aristocrat was going full force in not only bragging about his win, but doing everything in his power to put Deku down for his loss against the blond. Deku didn't budge an inch the whole time though as he waited for Alois to finish before raising the mic to his lips once more so that he could respond. "Are you done? I stopped paying attention after the first sentence." He said derisively much to the laughter of the audience before he continued.
"Last time I checked you were employed and paid by LAW like me, which means the fans fund your paycheck, and you asked me to be on your show, if you'll recall." Deku said, smartly sniping two of the points that Alois had tried to throw Deku's way before he went for the kill. "Really, the only difference between us, other than the fact you have the brain and personality of a corgi." At this Deku had to pause as the crowd burst into laughter at the comparison which made him smile a bit, waiting for them to die down a bit as he decided to add a last minute addition. "I guess he also has the but of one too huh? I can admit that." He said which got another round of laughter before Deku focused back on Alois, his expression growing serious once more.
"The only true difference though... is that you're a honorless cheat. Who ONLY one because you low blowed me, and I think we both know that without it, you would have been one to shrivel up instead... So thank you for confirming the rematch, cause I'll be sure to make sure that taste of victory you had was as fleeting as this tacky talk show!" Deku said throwing down the mic and throwing a punch at Alois!
Deku normally didn't like to resort to violence out of gate when it wasn't a match but Alois was more than worth punching in the face without warning or regret. Plus for what it's worth the crowd was super into it, cheering loud enough that it felt like the building was vibrating from the force, watching the pompous blond laid out on the mat was everything the crowd wanted from the segment and Deku was all too eager to give it to them! "That was just a small taste Alois... You'll be getting worse when we have our rematch, and the crowd will be as behind me then as they are now, and you'll find out exactly how important they are." Deku said with a glare to the blond before dropping the mic on his body and standing up to walk out of the ring.
