SA-KI just stared at the image on her tag partner’s phone screen, glancing between it and her a few times with a blank, unimpressed stare. To Freia’s credit, she managed to keep a straight face the entire time, never faltering despite the incredulous look and silence that was being cast her way. She had to know what was about to be said, she had to know what her opinion on the unspoken idea was, but she kept it together with a monumental amount of self-control.
”No.” SA-KI finally broke the silence with a single word, then shoke her head. ”No, no, no. Absolutely not. Not her. Not now. No.
Freia and SA-KI hung around the backstage area during a LAW taping finding their own little private area of the gorilla position to deliberate. The goal had been simple enough when they first got here - they were going to track down some of the Wrestle Angels, make the offer to join their stable, then beat them to a pulp if they refused.
It was an easy enough setup, and Freia had a list of targets they could hit…and then she just happened to hop on Twitter and see this little gym
She was enthused. SA-KI was not. ”Okay, I’ll bite.” Freia leaned up against the wall beside her and stuffed the phone away. ”What’s wrong with the Smirnov?”
”What’s right with Smirnov?” You could see the glare clearly through her visor. ”She’s crazy. Crazy and dangerous.”
Freia folded her arms and tipped her head towards her partner, giving her an incredulous look for a moment. She didn’t wait long to fill in the obvious blank, there. ”You’ve literally described half of the women in this entire company. Hell, you’ve described us.”
SA-KI just tilted her head to the side, and you could see her glare through the visor. ”First, I’m not crazy. You’re crazy, I’m just driven, there’s a difference. Second,” She ticked off a finger. ”Smirnov is chaos. We don’t need chaos. We can’t control her.”
”We don’t need to control her.” She folded her arms and leaned forward. ”We just need to point her in the right direction.”
A few minutes later the two of them found themselves in the middle of the ring as Freia’s theme music died down, with the crowd’s booing still in full effect. Freia was quite used to this sort of thing, water off a duck’s back, and she powered through it as she addressed the nearest camera.
”Alice. Alice, Alice, Alice.” She leaned against the corner and crossed her legs as SA-KI paced about in front of her. ”We got your message. Come out. Let’s talk.”
