The Rookie Rumble! (First come, first serve.)

*Finally..finally this nightmare could finally reach its ending, and not a moment too soon Agatha thought to herself while beginning to hoist Michiko skyward. She had fought through agonizing pain, insufferable humiliation and crippling bouts of fatigue but now, the prostrated goddess was on the brink of hammering the final nail in the coffin.* "A..at least..y..you have the solace of knowing you lost to someone like m~" *Her boasting cut short by a peculiar feeling near the edges of her palms, as it felt like..no...impossible! She was so tantalizingly close to capping this fight off with a well-deserved victory, but now, it was slipping through her fingers- Both literally and metaphorically.*

"N..no..no, damn it.." *Unable to locate enough viable energy to shout, her body almost buckling from her grip being deftly broken, as her body was soon lifted upwards. Her gaze was brought towards the dimming ceiling lights- They almost seemed to be flickering just for her, a simulacrum of her fading hope of ever regaining any form of momentum. Her last and only chance of defeating Machiko almost fully extinguished, the inevitable finally struck Agatha with the force of an earthquake.*

"GRRRHHH!" *The instant her body slammed into the floor, she felt her limbs beginning to go numb- Agatha desperately attempted to flail about in an effort to shake Machiko's grasp, but she simply lacked any form of expendable vivacity to do so. She was a ragdoll in the maw of a ruthless pitbull, and now, all she could do was wait for her imminent demise.* "G..gods..for..forgive me.." *She mumbled, taking in a deep sigh before her flaccid limbs blithely dangled within the indomitable Machiko's grip.*

It had worked! Michiko didn't know if she'd manage to get out in time, with the two fighters weary from the pitched battle they had found themselves in. Michiko herself was no exception; she'd fought hard, and taken no shortage of punishment from Agatha's last-ditch barrage, which still left her numb in parts. But as luck would have it, the blonde herself was just as tired, too tired for her to be at her top shape while Michiko darted behind her for her next move. Gripping her in tight, she scooped Agatha up from the ground, clamping down as tightly as she could about her ribs to put on the pressure, before she fell back to send her head slamming into the mats, leaving her dazed. "Hahah!" Michiko said. Though she gave the crowd a wink, she looked back at Agatha and paused for just a second with a twinge of guilt. Was she being too hard on her? Her grip eased a little, as she wondered if she was kicking her opponent while she was down.

But then, how would she know that Agatha wasn't just playing possum? Knowing her, and knowing her tricks, Michiko couldn't be sure that she wasn't just trying to lull the lilac-haired woman into a false sense of security. That she would hit her while she backed away! And as Agatha had said earlier...could she be called a warrior if she wouldn't finish the job? Well, Michiko was going to prove a point to her.

Not content with just one to finish the match, Michiko would go after Agatha to throw her back over her shoulder for another German Suplex...and then another! With that satisfying her, her next move would be to throw herself down on top of the Swedish woman to cover her and hook her leg for a pin.

*The light from her cerulean pools were fading, and every iota of energy she had within her had been sapped- Each, redundantly powerful move had been futilely expended as she remained lying within Machiko's unflinching grasp. Her body shook uncontrollably, as Agatha felt a light seizure overtake her- It wasn't anything fatal, yet it did strike a cord with her foolish pride; why hadn't she pressed her offensive strategy earlier? Why had she railed against her intuition and just finished the job while she had the opportunity to do so? All of these thoughts raced through her hazed thinking, unable to formulate a coherent sentence before feeling her withered frame dumped on the ground yet again.* "GRRRHHH!" *She screeched, only to find herself subsequently tossed once more, for what seemed like good measure.* "GGNHHH!" *Her plaintive groans of pain the only form of communication she can muster, Agatha lie sprawled out across the canvass as Machiko went for an uncontested pin.*

"ONE!.." *The referee began, as the stunned audience looked on in suspense and anticipation. Agatha merely twitched from the paradigm shift that had quickly made her the victim of her own foolhardy ways.* "TWO!.." *She knew what was next; the final number that would herald her untimely loss. If only she could briskly toss up her downed arm, she could awaken her inner strength to snag victory from the jaws of..* "THREE!" *And just like that, the potential for mounting a comeback erased in the blink of an eye.*

*Taking a deep, elongated sigh after what had just transpired, Agatha tentatively murmured towards the resilient woman pressed against her.* "You..are a true warrior.." *She whimpered with a glint of awe in her eyes; she hadn't anticipated such an intense brawl, and even though she may have lost, Agatha couldn't help but appreciate the competition Machiko had provided her with.*

Putting all her energy into it and not holding back, Michiko went on the offensive, plowing her opponent's head down into the mat with suplex after suplex. The first one might have taken most of the fight out of her alone, but someone like Michiko wasn't the sort to end the match with such a relatively simple move. She wanted to make her impact and to put on a good show of doing it, to make sure that any evildoers out there would think twice before they dared to tussle with her! Agatha's cries of pain started to escalate, getting louder and more shrill with each time she was thrown into the mat, until at last her torments were ended when, after the third suplex, Michiko finally decided to have mercy on the Norsewoman and let her down, dropping her on the canvas.

Getting down for the pin, Michiko started to look over as the blonde struggled to get the feeling back in her arms. She bit her lip, sucking in a breath as she stood on guard. Was it possible that, even after this, Agatha was still going to make a comeback? Just what was this woman capable of, what was she made of? She waited with bated breath, the seconds counting down for what seemed an eternity. With each passing count it seemed like Agatha was more and more likely to free herself, and Michiko was waiting on the moment to arrive, the moment where she would kick out and the fight would be on again. But it didn't come - instead, a third count chimed, and the bell rang. The match was over.

Michiko watched Agatha as she panted for breath, rolling her weight off of the blonde somewhat to better allow her to get a breath in. It brought a smile to her face when Agatha praised her - it seemed that even someone like Agatha, someone who seemed to have no reservations about fighting dirty to get her way ahead, could still, at the end of the day, look to her as someone to trust, someone who used her strength wisely and fought with valor. There were no longer any hard feelings; both women had come out of this with only one thing on her mind - that this was a good fight. Michiko might not have approved of Agatha's philosophy, but she was proud to have her respect, as she nodded to her with a smile. "As are you..."

"Nhhh..w...we must..s..share..c..combat..e..experience..s..sometime.." *Agatha muttered out through exasperated breath; she hadn't felt this prostrated since her last outing with her homeland's hunting tribe, and such a rush of adrenaline was ineffably soothing to a woman of her caliber. Staggering to her feet, the scandinavian sledgehammer felt her limbs initially refuse the prospect of standing, but after a moment to overcome the weariness, she finally made it back to her full, albeit still relatively short, stature.*

"Michiko..." *She began, giving the triumphant fighter a look of adoration.* "Congratulations on your victory here tonight. I suggest you continue to hone and improve your talents, for I intend to reclaim my honor in the future we have." *And with that, just like the countless fans in the crowd had been doing since the bell rang, she applauded the svelte woman without an iota of malice or remiss in her actions.*
