Katherine Hart/Picofalena Contract Signing

In the ring, a table, two chairs, and a contract on a clipboard have been laid out. In one of the chairs, we see famed top LAW star Katherine Hart seated in a dress. Her ankle and lower leg have been taped up quite a bit. On the table in front of her lay the contract and a microphone.

Announcements have already taken place. Her entrance was done and over with a few seconds ago. Though the crowd cheered, The Super Kitty maintained a serious expression. She had been banged up. Some of her bruises were still visible. And in a few moments, the general public was about to learn how and why. She gripped the microphone in her right hand.

"I've seen better days, yeah? Haha."

"Why don't we take a second to find out why that is. I want everyone to pay attention to the monitor above the entrance ramp. Take a look at how this played out." Hart would say while gesturing towards the big screen with her free hand.

Black and with security cam footage would show clips of the attack from just a week or so ago. Though it was evening at the time and there was no color, the quality was quite clear. Clips were shown in succession. Clips of a woman posing as an interviewer running towards Katherine in the LAW parking lot as the luchadora was just trying to get to her car to go home after taking a real interview backstage with her tag partners. Kat humored the lady. She handled this encounter amicably and tried to discover who the mystery woman was- befriend her even. And things quickly went south with she surprised Katherine Hart with a low blow and went to work on her! Parts of the footage were blurred out or covered, mostly the parts where Kat lost blood. It was an uncomfortable watch but it told the story through and through. The last bit of the footage answered the only question that remained. Towards the end, the mystery woman donned her signature helmet and broke out her whip. Kat's assailant was recent LAW signee Picofalena!

"Man, that was almost as painful to watch as it was to go through. You can still see this lady's handiwork. My leg, parts of my arms, my face...yeah I'm pretty banged up." The camera panned over Katherine's chiseled frame. Though she was never a sight for sore eyes, a close look made the damage very apparent. The fact that she could be out here at all in this state was something in and of itself!

"I'm sure if you've been checking out the rumor mills and the dirt sheets that by now you've heard. But for anyone that doesn't know her, heck I didn't know her before I went to the parking lot that day- that woman goes by Picofalena." Many fans immediately booed the name simply for the heat Pico got for jumping Kat. But those that knew of Pico in the indies were especially taken aback! Audible gasps came from the crowd!

"That woman turned a new leaf when she joined LAW. She decided that all the bad things that ever happened to her and all the success she doesn't have as a wrestler is because of, not just big stars like myself, but because of Katherine "Super Kitty" Hart specifically!" The boos intensified. If Pico wasn't a heel before, her name alone causing this reaction certainly made her one now!

"And instead of talking it out with me, instead of going to management and trying to get a match, instead of trying to succeed in spite of her challenges, she decided that the best way for her to have a successful career here in the big leagues is for her to try and end mine...." Kat said in a rather serious tone. She put her elbows on the table and looked into the cameras. With her mic still in hand, the masked woman continued.

"It's crazy how things work out sometimes. It's insane to me that the more successful I become, the more championships I win, the more big names I throw down with, the more PPV's and events I headline or put on the map, the more women on this roster seek me out as some kind of stepping stone. I gotta tell you if Pico's managed to do one thing better than anyone, it's throwing a wrench in my plans for the next month or so. I can take an ambush or a jumping. It's happened to me at LAW quite a bit. I shrug those off. But the timing of this one is a real kick in the pants."

"You see, everyone else gets to have some genuine competition going into Fight The LAW. There's animosity between some of the wrestlers on that card but as far as I'm aware, there's no actual hate. There's nobody on there that's trying to take anyone's livelihood away. Or at least there wasn't until now..."

"So I went to management backstage. I spoke with a lot of the suits in the back. I spoke to DeFranco the GM and he agreed with me when I said that's something the PPV could really use!" Fans cheered the prospect of Kat taking Pico on at Fight The LAW. The Super Kitty rose from her seat and explained further.

"Picofalena, you wanted me to quit! You wanted to retire me, you made that clear! So let me give you the chance! This contract right here! You see this?!" Kat held it up to the camera before slamming the clipboard back down the table.

"This is a contract for an I Quit match with me at Fight The LAW! I've even gone out of my way to make it worth your while! Come out here and give it a read for yourself. You get a championship match for any singles title you want if you win! You get exactly what you want! You wanted me to retire and move out of the way for the younger "more deserving" stars out there. I made sure you had every chance to do exactly that when I requested the match! And do you know why that is Pico...?"

"It's because I want you to have every advantage and every motivation possible going into this thing! Because when you step to a battered Super Kitty and lose, live on PPV in the single biggest match of your career, you'll have no excuses to fall back on. You'll have no choice but to admit that I was right about you! That at the end of the day, you're just a crazed woman that's mad about her inferiority complex. And that there's no shortcut to the top of this company or the top of the professional wrestling world."

"Pro wrestling, these fans, this company, they don't owe you jack! But I owe you an attitude adjustment. And after I handle my business with you in the ring and beat you the way a real wrestler and a real woman would, you'll have to live knowing that you squandered your biggest chance in this company, your biggest chance in wrestling! You'll have to accept the truth about where your meanstreak and sense of self-importance come from. You'll have to accept the simple fact...that you aren't anywhere near as good as you think you are!"

"Now get in here and sign this!"

Kat was heated for sure. But the crowd was into it. Even while she wasn't at 100% it was rare to see The Super Kitty go out of her way to take an opponent super seriously like this. Little did she know, Pico was listening in the entire time from the audience. And she'd likely be far past the point of being provoked into making a move!

It was a passionate speech. Quite passionate, and it had the fans really on her side. Because, if Katherine had one skill in her arsenal, it was manipulating the masses into taking her side. What would she be without that? Where would she be if she didn't put on that cat mask, dress in provocative clothing and tell the fans exactly what they wanted to hear, regardless on if it was the truth or not? She'd be where Ruth was for years, rotting away on the indies, who tried to get in based on her own merit and failed because she wasn't some fake, masked cutie with a fat rack.

if that's what it took to get into the big leagues, then that's just what Ruth did. She became Picofalena and was prepared to take the world by storm. With her new persona, suddenly, there was a lot of interest in her. Adding a tiny bit more flashiness and winking to the fans suddenly made her charismatic. Finally, LAW couldn't ignore her and signed her to a deal, and that's how she got into that parking lot to assault Hart. There was so much that Ruth could say in response to Katherine, how much she could disprove everything...

... All of that, and yet there was a deathly silence when it came to a response from Picofalena. She wasn't coming out. Kat had made her big statement, finished up her long-winded rant on why she was sooooo good and Pico was someone who wasn't worth it, and there was nothing. The fans grew more irritated by the second, wanting to see this confrontation, wanting to see their favorite SWAT Cat put this clearly incapable pest down. But time went on, over a minute had passed and there was nary a peep from the sound crew, a tickle of the curtains to indicate a presence in gorilla. Was Ruth backing down after having dedicated her career to hunting down this very woman?

Of course not.

The fans realized it too late to warn Katherine Hart, and the footsteps were silent. A quick jump of the barricade, a slide into the ring and...

Picofalena struck! A familiar weapon lashed out to bash against that injured leg, swung with intent to smash the bone underneath into little pieces! Of course she wouldn't back down from Kat's challenge! Not after she worked so hard as to get the chance to end her career! But if the blonde thought she was getting a head-on confrontation, she was delusional! Picofalena didn't give a shit about trading words with Kat, with getting into some promo battle with her. After all, Katherine had already pieced it together and had her thoughts on the matter, and no words were gonna change that. And Ruth didn't care for winning over the fans at this point; the mindless sheep cared too much about the champ's rack to even consider that!

So she attacked from behind, stealthily and targeting that very leg that she had targeted in that parking lot, with the very same weapon! If Kat collapsed from the blow, Ruth would be quick to capitalize, bringing that tire iron around to yank against the throat of the SWAT Cat! Choking her mercilessly, as the fans booed in complete disgust! "You think you're so fucking special, huh? You want to take a grand stage to put me down? Fine, I'll do that. I'll just sign the contract in your blood." Ruth snarled into the ear of Kat's in the process of the asphyxiation, driving her knee against the spine of the blonde's as to tighten that choke even further.

Being a favorite among the crowd, being valued by LAW management, and being the de facto face of the company, these things did Kat few favors in the world of pro wrestling. Nearly every person in the stands and behind the barricade cheered to see Hart get a match with Picofalena. And an obscene number of women behind the entrance curtains shared Ruth's obsession with dominating The Super Kitty and using her as a stepping stone! Ruth wasn't without her supporters. There were hateful LAW wrestlers and staff that were bent on seeing Hart brought to her knees no matter who did it. But from the roar of the crowd, you could tell that darn-near every fan in attendance and every fan watching at home wanted to see Pico get hers for pulling what she did and trying to strap the rocket to herself by jumping and hurting the famed luchadora.

For Pico, this was a chance to put her money where her mouth was and finally make her mark on the world stage by wrestling a high-profile match at LAW! By wrestling against one of the company's very best women! And for Kat, the story here was a simple one: give Pico every chance in the world to use Kat as a launchpad to start her career about as strong as she possibly could, just so that she'd be forced to acknowledge the reality if and when she came up short against Kat when all the chips were down! The reality that was the fact that she didn't have Kat's spot was no one's fault but her own!

"Don't keep us waiting now, Ruth!" Hart had continued after waiting a good minute or two.

Fans were getting annoyed. Pico was more than willing to see Kat when she was sure she could get the drop on her. But seeing her in the ring face to face, woman to woman to sign a contract was too much to demand, it seemed!

"You and me! Top of the undercard at Fight The LAW! Any singles championship match you want in this company if you win! You better get it while the getting is good because DeFranco is still pissed at me for even pushing for this and he might call it off if you don't come get it while the getting is good, Ruth..." Kat held the clipboard and contract up high. Her own signature on it was visible for all to see if you looked closely. But even now there was no entrance theme and no sign of Madley.

"I'm literally laying it all out for you on a silver platter! Because I wanna see the look on your face when you come to the table and sit down to enjoy it, only to realize after you've taken that first bite that you bit off just a little bit more than you can chew!" Hart said her eyes fixed on the entrance ramp and the backstage area. The fans reacted, once again cheering The Super Kitty as her scathing promo continued! Those cheered masked the presence of the one or two folks that noticed Pico jump over the barricade and run straight for the ring!

It happened in a flash! Ruth had proven nothing, if not her sheer dedication to trying to cowardly attack Kat Hart in any way she could imagine!

"AAAAGH!" The sound of Kat screaming in pain and going down echoed off the microphone! The mic slipped out of her hand and fell to ringside as Pico swung that seemingly signature weapon of hers, her tire iron at Kat's injured leg!

The act was calculated and shamelessly executed. The commentators at ringside calling this verbally bashed Pico live on the air. But the symbolism wasn't lost on them. Pico was using her tire iron from her old beater of a car. A car that was the best she could afford before being signed to LAW. Yet another unfortunate life circumstance that Ruth would probably find a way to pin on Hart!

Kat had gone down and clutched her hurt leg with both hands! The pain conveyed in her grimacing expression no doubt brought a smile to Madley's face! She didn't afford Kat the chance to writhe on the canvas of the ring! Pico immediately took the metal instrument to Kat's throat! She stood over Kat and straddled her as she choked the luchadora with the tire iron! Kat pushed herself up to her knees! The fat rack that Ruth seemed so jealous of threatened to pop out of Kat's flattering purple dress as she winced in pain with one eye and gasped for air! Kat grabbed the tire iron with one hand as Pico snarled into her ear!

Kat began to pull and put a small but noticeable amount of distance between the metal bar and her own neck! But Pico drove her knee into The Super Kitty's bare back, dropping Kat from her knees down to all fours!

The boos at this point were loud enough to hear from anywhere in the building! Pico was certainly making an impression if nothing else! And quite the nasty one!

Kat was running low on options! She began to audibly cough and hack for air! The veteran wrestler would reach up with both hands and try to secure a grip behind Pico's head, interlocking her fingers before trying to flip the middleweight overhead and off her person to free herself from this chokehold!

Katherine wasn't just laying the match out on a silver platter--she was laying HERSELF out on it too. Not even bothering to think that the woman who blindsided her once may do it again, just to go to show that she wasn't as savvy as she pretended to be, one more point that Picofalena would happily use against her. A ploy as old as the concept of wrestling itself, and the blonde fell for it! Hah, what a bimbo she was turning out to be! Resilient, hardy, but oh so dumb. She probably used those tits to get by in school too, rather than actually learning!

There was certainly a cruel satisfaction to Ruth as she could hear Katherine's gags and chokes, the pain shooting through her face as that knee injury was reignited from that tire iron shot--which, by the way, was one she just happened to FIND in the parking lot. Sure, her car was a bit beaten up because she couldn't afford better, but she didn't just carry around rusty tire irons! Give her THAT, at least. But that was just another thing Ruth hated about Kat. Because Ruth had wronged he, suddenly she was looked down upon for not having silver spoon treatment. That infuriated her, and just made her yank back even more--drive her knee harder against the blonde's spine, almost as though waiting to hear it snap for all she cared!

But Katherine was.... admittedly, strong. Stronger than Ruth, and was managing to create a gap between the tire iron and her throat, and she realized quickly that f she allowed this to go much further, she'd lose her precious advantage. Another stab with her knee alleviated that issue, but that strength made Ruth realize that she couldn't just rely on choking her, not while she was fresh.

Suddenly, two hands were at her head, grasping hard, and there were two options: Abandon the choke, or endure whatever Katherine was attempting to. Picofalena opted for the former, dropping the tire iron in a mvoe that may confuse the SWAT Cat, before using her nails beneath her gloves to stab into and rake the eyes of the blonde! If she wanted to toss her over, crush her head, whatever, she was gonna have to do it at the expense of her vision!

A chance for a match with the woman she so hated, a chance best the wrestler that Picofalena believed was "holding her back" for all these years, and a chance to earn a shot at championship gold at the biggest wrestling promotion in the world by competing in a match that Kat challenged her to- only a woman of Ruth Madley's arrogance and character could look at such an opportunity and think yo herself that now was a perfect opportunity not to step up to the plate and accept the challenge to prove herself on PPV like Kat was asking, but merely another opportunity to hurt The Super Kitty!

Pico had once again come for Kat in an effort to stage an underhanded and unfair ambush! Boos rained down from the audience in the arena. Commentators at the announce desk at ringside disparaged Pico's repeated dirty heel tactics here. Ruth's agenda against Kat knew no bounds!

As the pair struggled for control, it became obvious that despite whatever damage Kat had sustained between the parking lot incident and now, her strength still outclassed Madley's!

"Hnnnghhh!" Hart let out a groan of effort as she gradually pushed the rusty tire iron away from her throat! She made visible progress using just one hand when Picofalena seemed to be putting in even more effort using two!

Pico was on top of a prone Kat and she had leverage, but Kat still managed to power through! The renowned luchadora created enough space to thread her hands between her own face and the tire iron and brought them overhead and behind Pico's masked dome to try and flip her over and turn this around! Fans burst into cheers! Many got on their feet when it looked like Kat might fend Pico off! Even in her current state, Kat was one of the very best wrestlers in this company. In the minds of the commentators and the many fans out there, a few seconds on her feet, woman to woman with Picofalena was all she needed to put the hateful woman in her place!

But when push came to shove, Pico once again showed her true colors! She let go out of the tire iron completely in favor of using both hands to scratch, rake, and gouge the eyes of The Super Kitty!

"AGH!" Kat let out a pained yell as Pico dug into her orifices! It took her a second, but she powered through and swung her arms down, throwing Pico forward and off her person!

"My eyes!!!" Kat roared as she covered her eyes with one palm while pushing herself up off the canvas with the other.

She very quickly rose up off the canvas. Her dress was now disheveled and wrinkled in a few places. Her necklace, anklet, and other accessories were in disarray! Kat grabbed hold of the top rope for support and to try and gauge where she was in the ring before worrying about where Pico was. She continued to cover her eyes. Kat knew that Pico couldn't be far. She also knew beyond a shadow of a doubt now that this woman would do everything in her power to avoid fighting her in any sort of straight-up fair and honest contest.

"Are you THAT afraid of me?! You'll jump me over and over! You'll rake eyes, you'll hit low! Can you even actually wrestle?!" Kat declared loudly as she spotted the tire iron that Pico had abandoned and kicked it under the bottom rope and out of the ring! This play earned a few cheers and expressions of approval from the live audience!

At the very least, she wouldn't have to worry about that same weapon being used against her yet again. But with her vision still very clearly obscured, Kat struggled to get back to the center of the ring and locate Pico. She tried to keep her wits about her as she walked towards the center of the ring. The cameras looked in the background, showing the image on the big screen in the arena of Kat placing both her hands on the table in front of her. The contract was still there, bearing The Super Kitty's signature. And if Kat could help it, if she could get her hands on Pico, it would soon bear Ruth's signature as well, whether Ruth wanted it to or not!

Picofalena knew that she wasn't going to be able to hold that choke for long with the power of Katherine's, but she still did her best to yank that tire iron back and deprive the bitch as of much air as she could! And just when it seemed that Katherine was about to get the edge and pry that tire iron away from her and toss her off, Ruth went elsewhere. There was no "fairness" in war, and that was certainly how she was seeing this. Her nails dug harshly against the eyes of Kat's, to the point where it seemed she was trying to gouge them out! The boos of the fans were unheard, as the moth-dressed woman raked and raked, until the Super Kitty finally tossed her off.

But the damage had been done.

Pico's tire iron was kicked away, but it had done its job at this point. Katherine was blinded at this stage, unable to see clearly, and she couldn't see where her rival had gone. Blindly wandering, it seemed as though her rival had exited entirely, since she was nowhere to be found along the ringmat. No speck of pink anywhere. And as Kat wandered over to the table where the contract rested, it almost seemed as though the ambush had come to an end there...

... except for Pico's arm thrusting upward to deliver yet another low blow to Kat! The moth-dressed woman had hidden herself underneath the table, waiting to strike! Like a snake, she had slithered herself underneath there, taking advantage of the blonde's lack of clear sight to hide herself, and now she had struck, crawling herself back out and standing upward. More and more boos rained in, and Picofalena offered them all a middle finger before getting back onto the assault.

Her hands grabbed the mask of Kat's and shoved it downward, smashing her face off of the contract and the wooden clipboard it laid on, to further stun the Super Kitty, before yanking her head in down between her legs. And now, Pico lowered her arms down to wrap around the stomach of the blonde's. It wasn't going to be easy, but with a hard flex, she lifted her rival up, flipping her onto her shoulders, before thrusting her down hard for a mighty Powerbomb right through the table!

Kat needed to find her bearings. She had approached this like a professional. She had only wanted to hash things out, to settle on exactly how she and Ruth would bury the hatchet here. The Super Kitty had a plan: give this woman all the opportunity in the world, give her the platform, the stage, and the match to make her mark, incentivize Ruth with a championship opportunity. All so that she could show Madley that when push came to shove, the reason she hadn't attained the success she felt she deserved in wrestling wasn't because of indie darlings and LAW megastars like Kat casting a shadow over her, but because she hadn't yet proven herself the same ways Kat did!

As Kat rested her hands on that table, it was clear that some damage had already been done. The eye gouges, the weapons, every low road there was to take against Kat, Pico was happy to walk. Every depth that could be sunk to in order to get an advantage, Pico was willing to explore. The fans clamored and practically screamed for Kat to get away from the table. It puzzled her. But mere seconds later, it became clear to the toned luchadora exactly what was going on!

"UNNGH!" Pico practically threw an uppercut here, straining and even tearing a little bit if the fabric of Kat's dress to get a good, hard shot between The Super Kitty's thighs, right into her womanhood!

Kat was still half-blind when Pico struck! True to form, the vile woman had used the same game plan and the same agenda when she first ambushed Kat in the parking lot! Eye gouges, weapons, low blows...now that it was happening in from of a live audience, you couldn't even hear your own voice amidst the deafening boos that filled the arena as Kat slowly began to sink to her knees and as Pico rose up and flipped all the fans off! Kat's mouth was agape in pain! Her eyes were still closed in anguish! Her dress struggled to keep her decent and cover her impressive, chiseled form! The airflow in the arena made the fabric of her dress flow just a little bit. And as Kat hunched over and struggled to remain standing, her hated foe struck!

Before the legendary luchadora could collapse, Ruth grabbed her by the mask and spiked her head off the contract on the table to stun her further! Hart was unable to resist or to put up any kind of fight when Pico pulled her masked, blonde head between those thighs! The villainess visibly struggled for a moment, but with Kat as dead weight, she was able to lift the heavyweight under her own power! Fans everywhere gasped as Picofalena pulled The Super Kitty up and flipped Kat onto her shoulders before bringing her down hard and putting the luchadora through the table with a massive Powerbomb!

"Ungh!" With a loud grunt, Kat was thrust through the wooden table! She'd be left sprawled out with her arms above her head in the wreckage and the debris! Her eyes would remain closed. She panted heavily. Her massive chest heaved with each breath.

Much to everyone's dismay, Pico was standing tall. The clipboard and the contract were flung just a few feet to the side as a result of the impact. It was the very last order of business there was to take care of. No one could have foreseen things playing out like this!
