Lillian Byrne vs Skylar Jones. Middleweight Title Match
Spoiler

I cannot believe the best way to get a match with the champ you want is to attack her clothes because you find her conduct unsettling.” “Big talk coming from someone who has done far worse than anything Lillian has done in that ring. This bitch Skylar Jones is a wild dog that needs to be put down. Lillian shouldn’t have to be the one to do it but if it makes sure we’re free of Skylar Jones it might be a worthy sacrifice.” “Skylar and Lillian both have some controversial reputations in LAW. Both are unabashedly unashamed about who they are and have made many enemies on the way to making their names here at LAW.” “Lillian Byrne’s history has been well known, taking on the loser champ just to humiliate her, feuding with the Quinns, making her mark on history by beating Tina Armstrong in a Hell in a Cell match after jumping her along with a bigger group. She hasn’t been seen working with that group for some time so I guess Lillian decided she didn’t need them.” “Considering she’s a champ and none of them have seen gold I’d say she knew what she was doing. Course she might have never needed them to begin with, seeing as she has one of the best records in LAW with only one loss and that was a match she was unfairly goaded into by Tracy.” “Her time as LAW’s second Middleweight champion has seen the title go from the top belt to a vanity case for a champ who doesn’t seem interested in showing up unless she has to defend it.” “What more do you expect from her? She’s queen of the mountain, the only reason to show herself is to defend her belt. Champs are the pinnacle of wrestling not an everyday occurance.” “LAW may not like certain champs but many of them show up for public events, sign shirts, and keep a presence around LAW even if it’s not in the ring. I’m sure many investors miss the days of the friendly previous champion Tina for that reason.” “Many wish for a day Lillian is no longer champion. They might want to be careful what they wish for if they hope for a more approachable one to take her place because Skylar might be a little too approachable.

Yes, while LAW caters to all people who enjoy wrestling from the casuals to the hardcores and anything in between, with Skylar you can never be too sure what you’re getting at any given time and that’s not a good thing when you need to actually book her for certain events.” “Lillian is known for her hostile attitude who thinks everyone is beneath her and her, humiliating anyone she can with her raw strength and submission skills and is proudly confident in the lack of justice in the world that isn’t her own. Skylar is known for having a sense of justice that goes all over the place, being a sex addict which is only matched by her love of fighting, and a brutal sense of retribution that is neutral in who she’s willing to hurt.” “She’s crazy as hell, no one like her has any business being a champion.” “As someone with no known history of being in wrestling before she’s surprisingly acclimated herself in matches, with a few noticeable losses and wins to her name and already making rivals and friends.” “Most of her rivals are only rivals because they stole a friend's lunch money. Her response is to try to rip their lunch out of their stomach.” “Her idea of payback has a history of being disproportionate and her fighting style reminds me of the kind of wrestling you’d see in classic ECW. Blood all over the place with a fire starting somewhere to the side. That being just the brutal side of her life. If that was the worst thing she was known for she could build herself through the hardcore division. Her libidio and blatant lack of care for social norms in the face of expressing her sexual liberation is a controversy waiting to happen.” “One that’s already happened if I could point to half of her Twitter posts, along with the way she goes about showing off skin in normal matches, we schedule sexfights at later hours for a reason and she’s out here looking to start an orgy with the crowd!” “With all of this you might be wondering why Skylar is on the cuffs of winning the middleweight title? It’s a good question that ties into the kind of people these two are.

“You see like we said Lillian likes to push buttons and humiliate people, she’s not a nice person to fans or other wrestlers some of whom she’s hurt.” “Skylar hates those kinds of people, or anyone who hurts a friend of hers. By her own admission you don’t even need to be a bad person to earn her wrath so long as you simply beat someone she likes more than she thinks you should.” “This has gotten really bad at times with one of her beatings over Yuki having gone really far for no reason. The match put her back in the hospital right after a previous visit.” “Some of the friends she’s done this for have called her out on it but don’t expect her to feel remorse. Not when she’s found a target that no one likes anyway, I won’t lie Lillian is no Yuki and no one’s going to care about what Skylar does to her nearly as much as they did with Yuki. That doesn’t make what’s about to come next any better. It’s a cruel act by an evil woman painted as justice. If you need any more proof just remember this started because Skylar took matters into her own hands by burning Lillians clothes.” “I doubt this has anything to do with her sense of vengeance. I think Lillian wanted the gold and was seeking the best path to getting it by pushing Lillian’s buttons. It’s been the simple solution and Skylar was never going to sit around and wait her turn. I don’t even expect this match to be a matter of wrestling. It’s Last woman standing between two brutes. I see this match turning into a slugfest that would make you think you’re watching two heavyweights fighting it out. Power and ruthlessness will rule the day, and if you’re squeamish I recommend taking a dinner break for this one because I don’t see it being clean. But when it’s done Lillian will either be usurped by the most twisted star we have or she will continue her lengthy reign going on 3 years.

Main Event! Swat Cats vs Thundergirls Falls Count Anywhere! Tag Team Title Match
Spoiler
Image
Now it's time for our Main event!” “Many people have expressed some thoughts about this match taking place in the Main event over the first major clash of champions of their respective weight divisions. We’ve already gone over some of that so to try and keep the conversation on the right track we’ll keep any thoughts on that light. Regardless of it people think it should be the main event, it is and we have to respect that.” “The only thing I respect is that the Cats have the sense to see my criticism as valid. Unlike Robin.” “You went on a 5 minute long rant about how you hate Kat Hart. I’m supposed to be the biased one?” “We heard it from Tracy herself on Twitter. No idea why they consider Tammy unbiased but she hit the mark with me. If Tracy had anything to say about me we’d have heard it already.” “That I actually have to agree with, Tracy’s lack of a filter is part of her charm. Not that I agree with her about you but Tracy is free to her opinions.” “The Cats have taken a commanding lead in trying to make the tag division something to respect with the open challenge they started. Having won the belts as trio during the Gauntlets they’ve defended the belts under FreeBird rules which have led to them even the belt in a trios match against the Ashford family. They missed the last PPV as a team since Kat had an I quit match to finish that put her out of action for the rest of the show.” “Doesn’t sound like a Freebird rule if the other two couldn’t defend.” “The reason given was also the lack of time on the PPV.” “Then why okay the PPV open challenge if the tag team wasn’t scheduled? The Cats should have known in advance that they wouldn’t be able to defend the belts. I find all these excuses as everyone not taking responsibility for their part in why the Cats missed the PPV.” “It’s possible the main event spot now is an apology on management's part for poor handling of the SWAT Cats situation last time around.” "See now that would be a plausible reason if it was presented as such.” “I think you two are just looking for faults where simple mishaps and differing opinions would suffice. No one has to be the bad guy here. And you’re gettin off topic. What we need to be discussing is how important this match is for everyone involved, while the Swat Cats have been killing things as tag champs and single stars they face two faces of wrestling Tina Armstrong and Aliana Sanders. Individually those names carry weight in LAW but alongside one another they are the Thunder Girls one of the primo tag teams of OG LAW.

Tina is known in the middleweight division as the first LAW Middleweight champion while Aliana was almost the first LAW Heavyweight champion, both legends in their own right they hold the distinction of having a clean win over the SWAT Cats in a tag match.” “They also have an embarrassing loss against them, besides that the two haven’t been seen as a real tag team for years now. You think that would disqualify them but when asked Tina claimed that being seen as the underdogs in this match actually puts a fire under the former champ, something she expressed confidence was a feeling shared by Aliana.” “Aliana doesn’t need much more to be motivated, aside from her matches with the Cats in tag action she’s also someone Kat Hart has grappled with a handful of times to spark a friendly rivalry. Trading wins and losses in tag and singles action is more than enough to put two people on each other's radar, especially when both of them have made it their desire to be at the top of the division they both share. Or trying to take the spot as the top face of the industry.” “I don’t see either of them beating Astrid with the run she’s on and the only way you can call yourself the ace of your division is with that belt so they might want to refocus themselves before they start making any of those claims.”Not for nothing this is a match with layers, besides the Aliana/Kat feud it’s built under Tina Armstrong has much to say and regain for herself after losing the middleweight title, ending up on the undercard had to sting for someone who was once leading all of LAW to it’s next level.” “During that run Tina met Tracy in an epic ladder match that saw the two beat the hell out of each other before Tina retained, adding another battle to the war these two teams have fought through. Tracy won’t be in this match as Aurora will be the one fighting in her place; which personally I think could either be the trump card of the match or the biggest reason they lose given neither girl is used to facing her, but those battles have laid the groundwork for this match.” “As the competition grew, Tina started to look like a relic of the past, no one wants to feel like the only reason they succeeded was because they were in a smaller pool of talent. A win would not only show Tina to be a versatile wrestler, it would make her the first wrestler in LAW to win two major titles, another accomplishment to show that Tina is not a figure of LAW’s past.” “Backed by one of the strongest wrestlers LAW has as her partner the two could make a statement or end up being one more really good match on a long list of title defenses, our main event for night will decide a lot for the future of Tag team wrestling.
