The Young Lioness Cup: Nico Cardona vs. Teuila Masina

Tanner took offense, to be sure. Her eyebrow twitched at Teuila's words, and her fists balled as the crowd jeered along. For a moment, those boos raised to a fever pitch. Those idiots must've thought Tanner was about to fly off the handle and run Teuila down. Instead of a reengagement, however, Tanner had something different for everyone here.

She laughed.

She laughed, planting both palms across her toned abs and throwing her head back as she did. Dramatic and oversold, but with enough volume to it to assure everyone watching that, yes, Tanner Del Rio found all of this hilarious. Eventually, she came back down to Earth, flicking away a fake tear as she shook her head. "God, you're even dumber than I thought."

Tanner took a step towards Teuila, daring her to say or do something even more aggressive. The crowd was on Teuila's side for now, but even someone as dense as her would realize the optics of escalation. Not that the Floridian gave two shits about what those assholes thought in between Kleenexed wads. But she'd known Teuila long enough to understand that the Samoan actually liked this wrestling stuff and ingrained herself in their goofy-ass culture.

"Maybe you haven't had a turn with the one TV you've got on your ten-person island?" she asked. "Or maybe you just don't get any real sports back home?" The crowd booed at both accusations, especially given the implications of the latter. "Let me educate you for five fuckin' seconds. Ever heard of a 'tiiiie-breaaker?'" She spoke slowly, as if explaining to a kindergartener. "Now, the chuckleheads in charge of this dumpster fire haven't said shit about how they'd deal with ties. But anyone who's seen a real sport knows that it's always the head-to-head."

She smirked for a moment, hoping that the obvious conclusion would drill itself into her thick skull. "Yeahhh. Gentle reminder: I beat your ass in this ring weeks ago, sis. So why don't you get outta here and let the adults talk?"

Teuila was gritting her teeth in pure anger bubbling up into a absolute broil inside of her at Tanner and her audacity. Not only in attacking Nico but in her words, actions, everything about the girl just made Teuila want to punch her in the face. But despite that she couldn't. Not yet at least. Presently she and Tanner were tied in the round robin tournament, and Teuila had no idea how a tie would be handled, especially if a brawl broke out between the two who were tied.

Evidently that tie was why Tanner was out here. Belittling Teuila and her home, both of which caused her fists to tighten even further, to the point blood threatened to drip from her palms that's how furious she was. Even despite that however Teuila kept her composure. Barely. But enough for Tanner t finish up her words so that Teuila could finally rebut her.

"So what?" Teuila hissed out in response to Tanner reminding her of the fact that she had beaten her earlier. "I just beat the girl who kicked you're ass did I not?" Teuila asked to a scathing "oooooh" from the crowd as she did so. "You may have beaten me before, but thats the ONLY victory you'll have over me, and if this tie is really gonna get broken head to head, then I have NO problem avenging that loss before winning this whole tournament." Teuila said confidently as she glared at the Floridian across from her.

"So sis are you really so eager to have your ass whooped? Cause after that toxic spill from your mouth just now I'm more than willing to send you back to the trailer park you crawled out of." Teuila snapped at Tanner once again getting another uproarious approval from the crowd as Teuila stared Tanner down, waiting for her to make the first move.

For a brief moment in time, Tanner really thought she did something there. She could feel the Haterade raining down on her from all angles, especially from the Samoan girl in front of her. That was good -- it meant they got the message.

But then Teuila opened her stupid mouth. Most of it was just the usual fare from a dumbass who didn't know when to quit. Preening and promising things she couldn't deliver. Talking herself up for no goddamn reason like she's the shit. Hell, even holding up her loss to Spaceballs was something Tanner could get over.

But something about the last few things Teuila said, something about the imagery there... It implied that her home was lesser, that it was dirty. The thing was that Tanner didn't grow up like most people. Moving around every month or two with a traveling circus of freaks like her meant that "home" was about the people more than the place. By calling her home a grimy trailer park, then, Teuila might as well have been insulting Tanner's family. And that she could not abide.

Tanner immediately spun on her heel, frothing at the mouth as she jabbed her finger in Teuila's face. A vein bulged in her forehead. "Oh, that's just rich coming from Miss 'Mommy Bought My Plane Ticket.'" Her retort was just as snappy, but this time it came through gritted teeth. A pair of balled fists stood at her side to punctuate the remark. "Ain't enough to just get to the big leagues off the back of someone else's wallet, huh? Gotta keep the other guys down too."

She wasn't talking to the audience anymore. She wasn't trying to gloat over her victory. She was just giving a promise to the woman in front of her. "Get on your fuckin' knees and beg me to let you apologize, or I swear to God, Masina, I'll put you down right here."

Something had changed. Teuila could practically feel the change in tension that was already present in the air. It had gone from intense and ready to blow up at any moment to almost calm, yet with even more intensity. Like if the wrong step was taken it would lead to more than just an explosion, but a near total annihilation. Clearly what Teuila had said had gotten to Tanner, if for no one else it was obvious to her since the Samoan was standing across from Tanner and could see the now seething fury in Tanner's eyes.

'Good.' Was all Teuila could think to herself, not a semblance of fear, intimidation or remorse in her eyes as she looked into Tanner's. Ready to face the woman down regardless of the consequences. Of course Tanner wasn't willing to let what Teuila said go without anything back and soon the Floridian would shoot back with her own reply, something that made Teuila tempted to strike out at the woman. 'Does she think it was that fucking easy! This bitch has no idea how hard we all worked!' Teuila thought to herself with a near snarl on her face as she took a step closer to the woman across from her.

Rather than try and make another biting retort though Teuila took a different route. Rather she stepped closer, pressing her chest against Tanner's own, prompting the ref from the match and security to gradually get closer to the ring, knowing a brawl may very well break out at any moment from the two hot headed lionesses. "Bring. It. On." Teuila ground out with a biting, barely audible town bogged down with barely contained fury towards her opponent, who would likely be the only person capable of hearing her challenging words.

Truth be told, Tanner didn't give a shit about working hard to "climb up the LAW ladder" or whatever it was the chucklefucks around here said. She was just here to make some big bucks while beating chicks up and banging them out. Tanner was open about all that, and she honestly didn't even care if other people were more ambitious. Sure, she laughed at them for being easy marks in ridiculous spandex, but as long as they stayed out of her way, there wasn't any reason for beef.

That was Teuila's problem. She just couldn't shut up about "Shadow Fortress" this and "next LAW superstar" that. Even worse, she thought that sucking up to some MILF in leopard print made her better than everyone around her. Not just better at wrestling, no, but better as a person. Above them. More than them.

That was why Teuila was so ready to talk her shit here in this ring, and that was why she stepped up to Tanner instead of continuing their war of words. She thought she was fucking bulletproof just because she could press her fat tits into someone else's. Tanner was glad to show her otherwise. Even if, through her sudden snarl, she didn't look the part.

"Rrr... RAAGH!" She lashed out bestially, clasping her hands and swinging both up as if with a kettlebell! Regardless of whether that up-swing hit, Tanner would then let off a roar of exertion as she brought the dual hammerfist down -- a wild attack aimed at the top of Teuila's skull!

Teuila positively despised Tanner despite the relatively small amount of time she had spent with her. In that time however Teuila found Tanner to be rude, judgemental, derisive, not to mention completely disrespectful to anyone that wasn't her! Really it just irked Teuila to no end, wondering where the Floridian got off, acting so high and mighty, like she was already a veteran just because she spent some time on a shitty wrestling show.

That was Teuila's problem with Tanner. This damn woman thought that just cause she had some spotlight and a hard life that she was entitled to everything and could walk all over anyone else. It was just the sort of attitude Teuila had grown to hate, and just thinking about it made Teuila grit her teeth in fury as she glared at Tanner.

One glance outside the ropes and seeing the still hurt Nico being attended too only caused that rage to burst higher and higher. 'So selfish and cruel. She hurt Nico, ruined this moment, just to make a point! Ugh I can't stand her!' Teuila thought to herself ready to throw the first punch, as shown by her shoving against Tanner.

Despite that however Teuila wasn't the one to throw the first punch, Tanner was. Or rather punches. Because rather than a traditional blow she rose both hands up from under Teuila, bashing into her chin and knocking her back! "Ugh!" Groaning in pain as her head was rocked backwards her head would just get knocked right back down from Tanner's hammer blow! "Gahhh!" Yelling in pain again Teuila growl softly before charging forward. "GRAHHHH!" Roaring as she did so Teuila crashed herself into Tanner and launched right into a fight!

There was nothing more satisfying to Tanner Del Rio than feeling the one-two smacks of her hammerfist across Teuila's skull. For a moment, she almost hoped that the blows would beat some sense into the girl. Then she decided against that wish, not only because it was damn near impossible for Samoa Blow to grow a second brain cell but also because this was way more fun.

"What's wrong, dumbass?" she taunted her rival. "Can't take a hit? No wonder I kicked your -- WHOA!" Suddenly, she was interrupted by an equally-angry Teuila! Ordinarily, she would have laughed at the dumb girl rushing at her, all red in the face. She didn't have time to celebrate, though, not with Teuila bearing down on her fast!

Tanner snarled as she was taken to the ground! One hand quickly found Teuila's curly locks and tugged it to the side, while the other laid a burst of glancing, odd-angled hits into Teuila's toned abs. She growled the whole time, threatening her hated foe. "Oh, it's fuckin' on," she growled. "An' I'm gonna kill you, Masina-!"

Teuila had been caught off guard by the speed of Tanner's sudden attack, despite knowing it was coming, but that was fine because she was all too ready to press onwards! Charging forward and taking Tanner's legs out from under her Teuila brought the woman down onto the mat and immediately mounted her, in turn prompting Tanner to grab a handful of Teuila's hair in retaliation while screaming her violent intentions at the Samoan!

"Gahhh grrr." Yelping in pain from the hair pull before growling in determination Teuila would grab a handful of Tanner's own hair to keep herself in place. "Ngh! Agh! I... Ngh! I'M GONNA TURN YOU INTO A PAIR OF BOOTS!" Teuila screamed right back in between grunts of pain from punches peppering her belly.

In contrast to her opponent however Teuila opted for a different strategy to a fast and furious flurry of strikes, instead she reared her arm back and sent it hurtling down for a single but powerful punch aimed right at Tanner's jaw!

Their little confrontation had boiled over now, and Tanner and Teuila were going at it in the middle of the ring. Not as opponents, not as rivals, but as hated foes. Tanner was gonna put Teuila into the ground if it was the last thing she did! Threats and worse were snarled back and forth, and the catty tactics made it clear that sporting was far from the focus. Each woman wanted to hurt the other -- bad. It didn't matter to the crowd, though. Free action was free action!

"GAHH!" And action was exactly what they got as Teuila's fist cracked across her jaw! The hinged bone swung in its spot, dragging Tanner's face to the side and sending spittle flying across the canvas. Her grip on Teuila's bushy hair slipped, and that arm fell slack. The Floridian's world spun, and when she managed to recenter her head, Tanner was greeted by a spinning image of Teuila Masina. "Gyehh... Gonna... fk'ya'p!" She reached for that blur but found herself pawing at only air!

Teuila was tired, hurting from her match with Nico, but more than anything right now, she was pissed as hell. So despite all the signs from her body to ease up she rushed Tanner, going through some more pain in the process, but managing to crack Tanner in jaw perfectly that seemed to stun the gator girl! "Hah!" Teuila said victoriously as she pulled her hair free from Tanner's grab, just in time to miss a haphazard punch aimed at her face.

Still that didn't stop Tanner from firing back with another hateful barb thrown Teuila's way, but at this point the Samoan was done with such taunts. "Grrr.. SHUT UP!" The Samoan girl would roar as she tried to bring her head down with a headbut aimed at Tanner's skull to further discombobulate and hurt the Floridian before she could recover!
