Belts and Bellies - Lillian Byrne & Kyoko Akan

It was a rare day that LAW's Middleweight champion would be out and about within the LAW arena itself, with no official business of any kind to attend to, but today was in fact one of those such days, as Lillian Byrne walked along, the middleweight championship displayed proudly around her waist. It was a symbol of her dominance, and her reign at the top of her division was something that was unquestioned, as every single challenger that she had met in the ring she had put down and further ensured everyone knew that she was the best of the best!

But while it was very clear that Lillian was a dominant champion, there was no shortage of women who took issue with her, and many who had already clashed with the middleweight champion before. One of whom she would encounter again today...

Pushing past anyone who was in front of her, Lillian's journey took her through the hallways and past the gymnasium, before she would eventually find her way to catering, a spot where she had once had a backstage brawl with legendary heavyweight Alaina, which led to her title match with Tina Armstrong. It was ironic that she had ended up back in this location, considering what was about to take place, as the champion would unknowingly brush past someone that she was all too familiar with, and no doubt took special interest in Lillian, and more importantly, that big sparky belt that was wrapped around her waist!

Kyoko was fresh off her encounter at her home with Rose Gold and needless to say she was in a better mood then usual with all the good things going her way at the moment. Of course things were going to keep going her way in her mind as she planned to get her hands on some prizes and she wasnt too picky about which one she would go for first. She had a few plans but all of them were forgotten when she got a proper look at who was in catering as well, namely one with a title belt who had a bit of history with the Queen herself.

"Well if it isn't my good friend Lillian Byrne, and here I thought you were never going to show your face around me." Kyoko said with a smirk walking towards the champ, but mostly focusing on her belt as if the women herself was beneath her attention.

Brushing her way past those who stood backstage, there was zero chance in Lillian's mind that she would run into anyone who had any problems with the current champion, a voice calling out to Lillian would stop her in her tracks, as someone would call out to the champion in a tone that was none too friendly! The idea that Lillian was too afraid of someone to show her face was enough to piss the brunette off already, and when she wheeled around to find who was bold enough to make such a claim within earshot, she would be met with somebody that she was quite familiar with, her eyes narrowing into a dangerous glare as Kyoko Akan approached her!

"You... I oughta take your head clean off, you know that?" Lillian hissed, rage burning in her eyes as she watched Kyoko, though she noted that the purple haired woman's gaze was fixed solely on her belt, and not her! Still, she wasn't afraid of Kyoko in the slightest, and the last time the two had met Kyoko had ambushed Lillian with a group at her side, but now the two were one on one, and Lillian was more than ready to demonstrate that without a group, Kyoko was fucked.

Lillian of course probably assumed that without help she was someone she should be afraid of which in itself was a silly notion for her since Kyoko wasnt exactly knocking people off with the help of an army. She beat up Lillian because she felt like it and wouldnt need help to do it again, but if the brunette wanted to try and test her she would gladly prove her wrong. Of course she was more then happy to just taunt the brunette so long as Lillian kept her filthy hands to herself.

"Take my head off? For what? What have I done that you wouldn't do in a heartbeat? Don't be a baby because you were handed an opening after I helped you beat down the champ and then didnt immediately name me as your next challenger. I am the only one worthy of said opportunity." Kyoko said watching the brunette for any signs of anger on her part and how she would react to the whole thing.

The anger that was sparked from her sudden meeting with Kyoko had Lillian nearly ready to boil over, but for the time being, she kept herself from losing her cool and attacking Kyoko, not looking to start a brawl with the purple haired wrestler... at least, not yet. However, Kyoko's words seemed like they were only there to fuel the fire that Lillian felt, and as she continued to go on, the brunette tilted her head to the side, utterly baffled by Kyoko's comments, but no less angry than before!

"You... you really think I'd name YOU as a challenger? HAH!" Lillian let out a sharp laugh, before turning her gaze back to Kyoko, now far more intent to her high and mighty attitude down a peg! "I'd have named literally anyone a contender before you. You really think you would ever have a chance to get MY belt? You pranced around with a fake one for so long because you wanted to feel like a real champion, and you couldn't even keep that. So do me a favor and curb your delusions, or I'll give you exactly what you think it is you want, that being the ass kicking of a lifetime... 'Champ.'" Lillian would taunt, punctuating her final statement by reaching out and jabbing a finger into Kyoko's forehead, a none too gentle gesture filled with disrespect!

Lillian's face went through a tornado of emotions, first anger then confusion, laughter, then smug but it was clear her disgust for Kyoko had not faded with time. Her dressing down served to piss Kyoko off and in that regard was a complete success as Kyoko responded with the poke to her head that ended it with a look that was not at all pleased before she shoved the hand away. She had to not fall into whatever trap this was, and instead make Lillian fall into hers.

"Of course you'd name anyone else but me. The thought of me taking that title keeps you up at night, or else you'd have already dealt with me." She said knowing she could anger Lillian this way if nothing else, she'd be damned if she let this bimbo outclass her. "Afterall, the beating I gave you before is probably still fresh and maybe you get scared at what I'd do to those abs of yours, if you can call those abs anyway. Seems like I could punch right through them." Kyoko leaned in getting in Lillian's face as her smile returned. "It must be terrifying to live in fear that the challengers you duck will eventually get there moment. You cling to that belt like its your lifeline it would be so fun to see how you react when its finally pulled from you." Kyoko's hand would reach out and poke the belt, her finger running across the name plate where Lillian currently had it.

Kyoko's angry reaction made it clear that Lillian's dismissive tone and jabbing of her forehead was quite upsetting to her, and the champion couldn't help but feel like she had gained the upper hand already in this encounter, despite Kyoko continuing on shortly after! The threats from the Belly Queen didn't seem to phase Lillian much, as the champion would look down at her abs and flash a smirk at her opponent, but the second that Kyoko reached out to touch the middleweight title, Lillian reacted harshly!

"The reason that I haven't fought you is because you don't deserve it! You're better off making up fake belts to give yourself fake achievements because there's not a fucking CHANCE you'd take my belt from me!" Lillian hissed, this time taking a step forwards and sticking a hand out, giving Kyoko's face a hard shove to send her backwards, Lillian creating some distance between herself and the angry Kyoko, her actions escalating things by yet another level!

Kyoko was getting ready to see just how she could goad Lillian, but honestly at this point she would be happy just beating her up like she did last time. Of course if she could do so in a match it would make it better so her mind was set on getting her to finally stop ducking her and say yes to a match. When she started to lay into her Kyoko just stared before Lillian tried to shove her again and force her back, but this time Kyoko didn't just let it happen bringing her hand up and forcing the arm away as she stepped in towards Lillian.

"And Karen Meadows deserved one? Please, you pick anyone you want to or people you feel like you can safely beat rather then actual opponents worth anyone's time. All you can do is talk about my belt and ignore I beat other girls just fine without those matches, and would beat you down easier then anyone else. Or girls who's butts in your face excite you like Tracey." Kyoko mocked as she pushed Lillian's chest. While her intent was to rile her she didnt want her that close before fists started flying and made sure to be on her guard given the rising tension in the room.

With verbal jabs continuing to fly between the two women, any third party would have been able to see that the level of physical interactions between the pair was escalating as well, with Kyoko and Lillian both making moves to make the other angrier! However, Kyoko was able to dodge the shove to her face, further pissing off Lillian as she continued to talk trash, coming after Lillian's former title defenses as well as targeting the champion's relationship with the one woman to have beaten her prior to her run, Tracy Canon!

"You'd best watch how you're talking, or you're going to get exactly what you're asking for. And if I ever meet you in the ring with you trying to get your grubby hands on my belt, I'll fuck you up worse than you could imagine, you little bitch!" Lillian hissed, punctuating her statement with a sudden and violent shove, both hands reaching out to slam into Kyoko's shoulders and send her reeling, the aggression between the two seemingly finally boiling over as Lillian was the first to get physical!

It seemed that there was no way for the two of them to resolve this without a physical altercation. Not that either of them was willing to at this point both were a second away from punching each others lights out for any eyes to see with Kyoko ready to go right now but Lillian finally snapped first throwing her hands out and pushing Kyoko as hard as she could forcing Kyoko a few back with the power behind it. And that broke the dam between verbal jabs and physical ones.

"You'll barely be able to walk after I'm done if you ever met me in the ring, title or not!" Kyoko said running back at Lillian and this time going to push her as well, both hands to her chest to see if she could knock her down, but she wouldnt give her a chance to try again, instead she would be ready for a fight if Lillian actually tried to put her hands on her.
