"I am gonna be ready to flatten that dumb broad Lillian, I can feel it!" Tina said as she stepped out of the locker room next to Alaina. The young middleweight champion was clad in black spandex shorts and a matching sports bra along with some sneakers on. She smiled as she looked over at Alaina whom appeared much more serious.

"She is vile and I can tell you that she is unlike anyone you have faced in a title match." Alaina said, clad in a black one piece swimsuit and pair of wrestling boots. "I thought I had her in our little brawl backstage but she nailed me from behind and put me through the ringer. You need to be sure that you are ready for this one." Alaina reminded Tina, cautioning her about her upcoming title match against Lillian Byrne.

The two women made their way out into the gym, heading to the ring to get in some mat work and endurance training for the day. It was going to be a rough go at the gym but days like this brought victory in the ring. The pair was fairly recognizable given Tina's fast rise to the top of the middleweight ranks as well as Alaina's status as a hall of famer who came back from retirement a couple years ago compiling an impressive record especially for a 44 year old mother of twin 7 year olds.

Tsumi after coming of a two win winning streak decided it was time to warm things up for herself. After her last two wins she was upset, mainly due to the fact that her opponents were too easy. She didn't have a challenge and went to management demanding that she better start being put in matches with tough opponents. While wins built up her resume but quick one hit KO wins would start people saying she doesn't deserve to be at the top, that she was given easy opponents to boost up her record. Tsumi didn't like that, not one bit, she didn't want it to start so she made it clear she wants tougher opponents.

Tsumi was wearing a black and gold sports bra, with black and gold spandex shorts, with kick black training kick pads on her shins and black wrestling shoes. She would look at the heavy bag that was in front of her and starts working on some punching and kicking setups. With every kick a loud as her leg would meet with the bag. That was when she turned to face her sparring partner who was wearing headgear and some pads on them to try and cushion the blows from Tsumi. Even though this was a spar Tsumi needed to go full contact which is why she recommends people wear it.

Tsumi looks at her sparring partner and nods as they would slide into the ring. Tsumi starts stretching out a bit before before they would start to circle each other in the ring. Tsumi wanting to see how it would do against someone wearing full pads but at the same time wanted to give them a chance. Tsumi would soon shout out, "Quick draw to the head!" Tsumi then spins on her heel as her partner would prepare to block the oncoming attack as Tsumi hits her with her finisher the Iaijutsu! With a loud smack of the pad and Tsumi's quick kick able to reach her sparring partner's head and connecting hard as the poor girl collapses and is knocked out. Tsumi looks at her partner and lets out a sigh, she really should've asked Nana to come spar with her. The girl soon comes to as Tsumi sat next to her making sure the girl was okay, luckily she was so Tsumi had nothing to worry about. She thanks the girl for her time though.

The women saw a surprise in the ring as it was occupied when they approached. Tina ran off to top off her water bottle while Alaina sat back and watched. She saw the kick hammer some poor girl in the head and knock her out. Alaina raised an eyebrow and had a few things going through her mind. First off was that style reminded her of someone she had a few matches with years ago during her first run in the ring, second was that little faux pas that had just happened.

While waiting for them to clear out Alaina walked up and leaned on the apron. "That was impressive, it reminds me of someone I fought a bit over a decade ago now. You don't have any family in wrestling at all do you?" Alaina asked watching the girl in pads for a few moments. She waited quietly for the kickers answer, very curious about the answer. "Also, I want to ask ya another question. Obviously you are good. however you do realize trying to lay out your sparring partner or put them at risk in a practice ring is a bit of a taboo right?"

Tsumi lets out a sigh as she was about to turn away from the girl as she nodded and exited the ring. I was holding back for her...Ugh. I'll never find a good sparring partner. Tsumi was about to go get her bottle of water that was off to the side of the ring. Thinking if she couldn't spar that she would go do some weight training at the very least. But that is when a woman would approach the ring wearing a simple black swimsuit and wrestling boots. She blinked for a few minutes and nodded before exiting the ring to speak with her.

It would seem that she is a veteran of the ring, she must be here for training a rookie or someone. That was when she would talk as if she has seen her style before, that it was familiar to her. "Yes, my mother is Natsumi Yoshida and my father is Minrou Yoshida. You might have fought against my mother. My name is Tsumi Yoshida and its nice to meet you." Tsumi said as she bowed but then she heard Alaina's comment and walks over to the bag and says, "I was holding back, when I said I needed a sparring partner I needed someone who can take a hit...People say I have the hardest kick in Japan..." Just to prove her point she does the same kick to the heavy bag, but she would hit it much harder than she did her sparring partner. "See, this is usually why I train with my family...But no one is available. So thats why I said I needed someone who can take a hit and had pads...Still didn't help." Tsumi said letting out a frustrated sigh.

Oh yeah, Alaina knew who this was. At least she was indeed familiar with her mother having had a few matches against the elder Yoshida. Alaina grinned having taken quite a few kicks from the bigger woman. "I see. I understand that you are quite the kicker obviously but you know that if you treat a sparring partner exactly like a punching bag you won't get the same workout as you would otherwise, not to mention its a bit safer for all involved." Alaina said with a shrug. The champ was still in the locker room and Alaina smiled, walking up to the ring and leaning against the apron. She had a proposition for young Tsumi. Thankfully Tsumai didn't seem to know who she was either, she probably just say an over-the-hill big old lady who still hit the gym chastising her.

"What if I stepped in as your sparring partner? I've been around the block a time or two and just may surprise you." Alaina said hoping that Tsumi accepted the offer. Alaina was more or less incognito at this point and she doubted that Tsumi saw much of anything in Alaina especially not mobility given her age as well as her frame.

Tsumi rolled her eyes as Alaina taking it as if Alaina was talking down to her. Tsumi shakes her head annoyed at the comment she was saying. She knew this all to well, which was why she trained with her sister's usually as they usually train hard like Tsumi does and had full contact sparring sessions from time to time. "Yes I understand that but like I said, I normally don't train with other's who aren't ready to take my kicks. Mom had us take full contacts kicks from her before. We don't do it all the time, its just today is the day we are supposed to." Tsumi said frustrated with Alaina who didn't seem to get the point that she was looking for full contact today anyway. But Tsumi would stop looking annoyed just so she could speak with this woman. That was when Alaina would lean against the the apron of the ring. Was she interested in sparring against her?

Tsumi smiled at this and even though she didn't really know Alaina she knew she couldn't just go for her finisher like she usually did. She would need to cut her down to size. But out of everything this would be a new look for her and honestly that is what excited Tsumi about this. Tsumi nodded towards Alaina and quickly slides into the ring. "I would be alright with this. I'll try my best to not to kick too hard just for you." Tsumi said with a smirk on her face as she would bounce on her feet warming up a bit before they would start.

Alaina just smiled and nodded. She was young once too and in her youth she was pretty cocky herself. "Well thank you, that is very kind." Alaina said as she climbed up into the ring, standing in the center. She knew this was going to be a fast, aggressive, hard hitting style employed against her. She fought against others that she called "one kick woman" because that was their main form of offense. It was smart really, if you are good at something and it proves highly effective you would be crazy not to do it as often as possible.

Keeping her eyes on Tsumi the old hall of famer in disguise... or at least not her usual ring attire... motioned over towards the bell. "Ding ding ding.... ready!" Alaina said as she held her arms up, circling Tsumi. She could only guess that Tsumi was going to underestimate the large 187 lb 44 year old but Alaina knew full well that Tsumi was someone she had to treat with the same respect she treated her wrestling mother. Alaina was no slouch with strikes either but she also knew exposing her head would be a horrible mistake. Instead she readied herself for Tsumi to make the first move.

Tsumi looks at Alaina and knew that Alaina would be looking for Tsumi's hard kicks so why not showoff the other side of her. Tsumi looks at the strong woman and as she motioned to the bell Tsumi would nod and starts circling Alaina. Normally Tsumi would be quick to strike but this time she would work on cutting down the heavyweight. As they would circle each other Tsumi would keep her eyes on Alaina's body trying to see how she would move so Tsumi would attempt to counter.


But Tsumi saw that Alaina was sitting back getting ready for Tsumi to attack her. Tsumi would take a step forward and would move her hips as if she was about to send a roundhouse kick. But Tsumi would drop down to the mat shooting forward towards Alaina's leg, trying to scoop it up and run into it for a single leg take down... If she was able to take Alaina down she would then send a kick to the knee of the leg she grabbed and would back out after, mainly because she knew she needed to work Alaina over before attempting to try any submissions.

Tsumi lunged in and Alaina tried to get low but she was a bit too slow! She landed hard on her back and felt Tsumi kick her knee leaving her to wince in pain! "Nggghhhhh!" Alaina groaned as she used her hands to help push herself up as Tsumi wisely backed out, preventing Alaina from attempting to yank her in with a bodyscissor hold or something akin to that. Alaina now had to try something to throw Tsumi off now. She lunged in with her arms but would attempt to drop down low and swing her legs out trying to smack Tsumi in the back of her own legs with a leg sweep take down!

Tsumi looked at Alaina who was just getting up from being taken down. She needed to remain on her toes for now, not leave anything open. Tsumi watched as Alaina would rise up to her feet, by paying attention to Alaina's body when Alaina would drop down and swing her lets out Tsumi would hop over the leg sweep attempt but because she hopped that meant Tsumi couldn't strike Alaina's head with her legs. But that was alright because instead Tsumi would send a open palm strike to Alaina's head as she came back down.

When she landed back down to the ground she looks at Alaina with a stern look and decided to ask her, "How did you do against my mother? When did you two wrestle?" Even though they were sparring Tsumi was interested in learning about Alaina and her mom wrestling against each other. She never really got to meet people who have faced her mother before. So it would be a learning experience to say the least.
