Yukiko Shinsaki walked into the LAW gym, one of many scattered throughout Japan, with an emotion on her mind she hadn't felt in a long time, nervousness. After the collapse of the Wrestle Angels organization, Yukiko had been working for promotion after promotion on the Japanese independent scene, working and hoping for a chance to break into the international scene once more. When an official from an upstart promotion known as LAW, which was already attracting big names from all across the world, offered her a contract, she quickly and enthusiastically accepted. Now that she was here, standing in an LAW gym, she couldn't help but realize the weight of the situation. Yukiko had made a name for herself as "Blazing Ace" Mighty Yukiko in Wrestle Angels, but with Wrestle Angels long gone she now had to prove herself once again on an even grander stage against the best athletes in the world today.

"Not now Yukiko," the young Japanese woman thought to herself, "Now's the time for training!"

Dressed in a plain white T-Shirt with tight black athletic shorts which had a blue stripe running down both sides, Yukiko streched her arms above her pink haired head as she walked over to the main area of the gym, the ring. She didn't have a sparring partner, or even a debut match to prepare for at the moment, but she wanted to get a feel for the LAW ring, from the tightness of the ropes to the quality of the canvas. As she moved closer, however, she noticed two female figures already in the ring, one of whom struck Yukiko as familiar despite her being sure she never seen either of the women in person before.

"HA! Gotcha now amazon!" Tina Armstrong shouted as she bounced off the ropes at her older, bigger training partner. Clad in a pair of black boots, black kneepads, white briefs and a white sports bra the 5'6" 143lb woman jumped up flying through the air at Alaina with a cross body block!

However, just because Alaina was down didn't mean the amazon was out! As she staggered up, clad in a leopard print one piece swimsuit and matching kneepads, the barefoot 5'8" 167lb Alaina stood her ground, catching the tigress in mid-air! "Don't get too cocky Tina!" Alaina shouted as she turned Tina's cross body block into a hard powerslam!

After planting Tina, Alaina got up to her feet and helped the energetic 19 year old up. At 42 now with husband and twin 5 year olds Alaina was trying to get back in the swing of things. She retired in 2012, starting her comeback in early 2017. To her, Tina was more like a younger sister than anything else. In turn, Tina viewed her tag partner like an older sister.

Tina got up and looked over at the pink haired woman. "Yo Allie, check it out! I think that's Mighty Yukiko!" Tina said with a grin. Alaina may have been her favorite wrestler in her youth, but Wrestle Angels was her favorite promotion, with Yukiko being one of her favorites there. Tina immediately scrambled from the ring rushing to her duffle bag for her phone.

The amazon took a more measures response, rolling under the ropes and approaching with a smile. She knew Mighty Yukiko' s body of work and it was highly impressive. "Hey there, I am Alaina Sanders-Haines wrestling soccer mom." Alai a said, extending her hand.

Yukiko stood there watching the two as the smaller one, blond haired and well built, charged at the much taller one with long brown hair and similar shape only to get caught with a thunderous powerslam that caused Yukiko to jump back a little! A powerslam like that couldn't be delivered by some rookie! After being helped to her feet by her partner, the tanned and energetic girl looked over and saw Yukiko, excitedly namedropping her ring name and quickly exiting the ring to her duffel bag. The other woman turned around to see what her partner's excitement was about, and Yuikio's heart skipped a beat.

The face... the attire... the body... it couldn't be! Here? In LAW? There was no way!

But there was a way as the barefoot woman exited the ring and walked over to Yukiko with a smile on her face, introducing herself as Alaina Sanders-Haines. It really was the Amazon, looking as great as ever years after her supposed retirement! Growing up, Yukiko idolized the American, as she was one of the few "gaijins", or foreigners, to be respected in Japan. Most foreigners were treated as either heels to be despised or invaders looking to take over the world of Japanese wrestling, but Alaina was seen as one of the best wrestlers on the planet, a bragging right she backed up with her dominance. She remembered watching Alaina's matches in awe as a child, trying to follow her intense training program during her first years as a wrestler, and legitimately crying when she heard the news of her idol's retirement. But now the Amazon stood before her, looking as if she beat father time himself.

"I... I'm Yukiko Shinzaki, wrestling curry enthusiast," she stammered, trying to keep her composure as she shook the hand of her childhood hero. A firm and strong grip, not one of a long retired champion. "Why... it's just... I thought you retired,"

Alaina smiled and shook Yukiko's hand. "I know who you are, you have wrestled some of the best matches I have ever seen! I wish I could have been in Wrestle Angels at its height when I was in my prime years ago." Alaina said with a sigh, her hands on her hips. "Yeah, I did retire. After nearly 16 years of a solid career I guess you could call it. I have twins now, and a husband but last year I felt the itch to come back and earlier this year.. well... here I am, back in the ring. I am not quite what I used to be but not too shabby for 42 years old." Alaina said with a smile. "But damn. THE Mighty Yukiko! It is an honor to meet you." Alaina added with a genuine smile.

As Alaina finished talking Tina ran up behind the two of them, her arms around their shoulders pulling them both in as she held her phone up! "Ohmygawd! Legend selfie!" Tina shouted as she smiled. Alaina was accustomed to Tina and able to smile as best she could hoping Tina didn't scare Yukiko too much. "You are awesome, you know that?" Tina shouted excitedly to Yukiko. "Oh, I am 'the tigress' Tina Armstrong, Alaina's tag partner and future champion in the making!" Tina said with a grin, pointing a thumb at her own chest.

"Hey, without you I wouldn't have been in Wrestle Angels," Yukiko said, the high praise and casual tone from Alaina having calmed her down, "I remember all those years ago when I was just a child, glued to the television as you did what no other wrestler had or has done since, defeat four women in one night! Looking at you now, six years since your last match back in America, it seems you haven't skipped a beat from those days!"

Yukiko then felt the energetic embrace of the young rookie Alaina was sparring with around her shoulders as she held up a phone in the air, obviously looking for a selfie. Yukiko smiled and even did a little peace sign as the girl took the picture. The enthusiasm of this woman brought a smile to Yukiko's face, and seeing someone as young as her, just out of her teens from the looks of it, training with a legend like Alaina brought a smile to Yukiko's face. It showed that Alaina cared about the future of the industry.

"Nice to meet you Tina." Yukiko grinned back at the tigress, "I definitely see a future champion in you, especially with Alaina as your mentor,"

Alaina chuckled a bit as Yukiko spoke. "Thanks but I was lucky to win all those matches that night and I couldn't move for a month." Alaina said recalling that night Yukiko mentioned. "I am flattered that you say that about not being in Wrestle Angels though, you are amazing inside the ropes and if I somehow had anything to do with it I am honored." Alaina added before looking down at herself. "I have tried to stay as close to my old wrestling shape as I could but I'm not what I used to be."

Tina grinned ear to ear as she heard Yukiko call her a future champ. She stepped back and smiled. "What brings you to LAW? Are ya gonna try your luck against us sometime?" Tina asked, standing tall and trying to show off her figure to Yukiko who was just slightly smaller than she was. "I hope ya brought some of the other angels too, I'd love to try my luck agains them." Tina said, staring off into space a bit as she was fantasizing about herself having matches against other women she watched growing up.

After Tina spoke Alaina did raise an eyebrow. "Have you had any matches in LAW yet? I think I would have heard about it and seen it happen if you did..." Alaina said, stroking her chin.

Yukiko smiled as she listened to Alaina and Tina. The fact a legend like Alaina was so high on her in ring work was an honor to Yukiko.

"I can't make any promises, but knowing my fellow Angels it won't be long until a good amount of them show up here!" Yukiko said to the excited Tina. Yukiko remembered feeling just like Tina when she was younger. However, Alaina's question got Yukiko thinking. She hadn't had her debut match set up yet, but she wanted to debut as soon as possible! As Yukiko looked up at her childhood hero, a thought went through her mind. "Maybe I should ask Alaina to be my debut opponent,"

Most people wouldn't want someone with as much experience, power, and skill as Alaina to be their debut opponent, but Yukiko was different. She knew that with the Wrestle Angels federation gone she had to prove to both the LAW fans and the locker room that she matched up with the reputation that preceded her, and what a better way to do that by defeating a legend of the business like Alaina? Yukiko also had always wanted to face The Amazon in a match, and where else would she get this chance besides right here and right now?

"I haven't made my debut yet..." Yukiko paused for a bit as she once more asked herself if she should do this, "But I'm always looking for a challenge, and it would be an honor if you could be my debut opponent Alaina."

Yukiko had butterflies in her stomach. Would Alaina say yes?

Tina sat back and clapped, excited about the match up possibility between US wrestling hall of fame and Japanese Wrestle Angel legend! "DO IT! Get in the ring with her!" Tina called out in Alaina's ear, so excited that Alaina jumped a bit.

Alaina smiled and looked at Yukiko nodding her head. "Sure thing, but just because you are a fan of mine don't think I will go easy on you. You also better not go easy on me either." Alaina added with a grin.

Yukiko smiled. If she didn't have self control she probably would begin jumping up and down; Alaina said yes! The dream match was going to happen!

"I'm going to give it everything that I got!" Yukiko said determinedly, "You know, I came down here to get myself used to the ring. It's a bit bigger than the Wrestle Angels set up; mind if I train with you guys?"

Alaina nodded, and looked over to Tina who gave her a thumbs up. "Sure you can, did ya want to face someone in a spar or just kinda go through some rope running with us?" Alaina asked, up for whatever it was that Yukiko wanted to do.

"Oh lord, different ring sizes sucks. I know women comin' over and using a four sided ring instead of a smaller 8 sided ring. One hell of an adjustment there too. You will be fine though I bet!" Tina said with a smile.
