Christina taking a break?

(An aftermath story to Which will break first? Christina Perez vs Helen Andronike, Extreme Rules Match )

Christina was out of the hospital after a couple days but it was safe to say that she would be taking a long break from wrestling. She posted it out in her social media post that she would be out for maybe a month or two and the Filipina wrestler just left it at that. There were some speculation that her back was completely destroyed or that she was scared to come back to the ring but the truth is this past year that she had been in L.A.W. it was work non-stop and she thought this was a good time to take a little break from all the slamming, fighting and body damage she had been taking.

Completely ignoring the social media world for right now she decided to just have a nice day outside and take a walk around Japan. She had texted her relatives and brothers about her trip to the Philippines and wondered if any wanted to go. To her excitement her brothers wanted to all go and have some time with there little sister which warms her heart.

"Hmm...I wonder what Emma and Hiro would do without me...maybe I should invite them too..." Christina thought as she was conveniently walking by the gym area where Helen so happened to be as she was perfectly fine and healthy.

Helen was getting ready to go for an ice bath. Despite her appearance, Helen was sore as hell from her Extreme Rules battle with her arch-nemesis Christina Perez. Helen might have dealt more damage with weapons, but Christina's submissions hurt and Helen's neck was especially sore from being guillotine choked for as long as she was. Helen was on her way to the athletic trainer's room when she saw Christina and stopped in her tracks.

The two women locked eyes and had a staredown. Helen anticipated a fight, or at least a shouting match, but she was secretly glad Christina was on her feet after going through that table. Figuring she'd get this over with, Helen approached Christina. "Got something you want to say?"

When Christina so happened to see Helen they would stare at each other but instead of showing up strong and courageous Christina kinda just looked away not wanting to deal with her rival right now.

"No...I don't...I've beaten you and I avenged Emma...there is nothing I want to say to you..."

It seemed like Christina wanted to duck Helen as many people would love to see another match since the two are technically one to one and a third would satisfy some fans but for some strange reason Christina is scared of another match with her.

"Listen...I'm trying to plan a mini vacation so don't expect to see me anytime soon." Christina looked back at her rival hoping she would just leave.

"No. I need her. Would people care about me if I didn't have an enemy worth fighting?"

"We're not done. We're even now and not in an ideal way either. I want a rematch. You fought me in a match I'm good at and won. I should return the favor. I'll fight you in a steel cage. No weapons. An environment you know well."

Helen hoped that would entice her rival. "Is she really leaving? How long would she be gone? I thought she always wanted to pound my skull in?" These questions swirled in Helen's mind. She only grew more anxious and wore that all over her face.

Christina call tell by just looking at her face that she wanted another match for her which made the Filipina sigh.

Ever since the two wrestled Christina was getting more and more eyes on her and she had to admit that Helen made her career worth watching. It took a few moment of silence and seeing the anxiousness of her rival Christina made her decision. Before she could speak there were some people who had there phones out as they recognized the two wrestlers.

'Perfect' Christina had an idea as she went to Helen and slapped her across the face.

"Ya think I'll wrestle with a loser like you again? All I want is a break and here you are bothering me for another match...how pathetic...but fine you do got a point...we are even and I should be obligated to have one more match with you..."

Christina wanted to make sure more people are watching outside the gym.

"You made a poor choice into challenging me to a Steel Cage match..." she got closer to Helen with her face so close to her's

"You and I both know you don't stand a chance...so if you want an early retirement go ahead and face me next week...but if your not ready for it then I suggest you go back home and never bother me again..." Christina stared at Helen waiting for her reply.

Helen took the slap and returned the staredown. She also got within inches of her rival's face. "Oh we're doing this. And I won't be escaping the cage to win. I'll be standing over your body," she said loudly for the passerbys to hear. She still couldn't help but notice something seemed off with Christina. Under her breath, she whispered "We need to talk. Meet me at your Iron Titans gym in an hour. And fucking be there."

Christina only nodded when Helen whispered in her ear before moving away.

"Not gonna happen! I'll see your ass next week and for all these people that are recording...mark my words this bitch is going down!" Christina gave a mean mug as she left the area. She knew Helen was coming to her gym so she made sure it was only a private talk with just the two alone as Christina got to her Motorcycle and rode back to the gym awaiting her rival. She was in the front of the gym just waiting for her.

'I Wonder what this is going to be about...' Christina wondered

Helen went back into the locker room and changed into more inconspicuous clothing. She did not have a motorcycle, so she had to take the subway. Greece had nothing like the Japanese subway system or bullet trains. Doubly so for her since she grew up in a small town. It still impressed her. She found her way to the Iron Titans gym an hour later and approached her rival in front of the gym. "Good, you didn't flake out. Let's go inside before anyone sees us."

If the two went inside, Helen would start. "How's your injury?"

When Christina saw Helen the two went inside as Christina locked the doors so the two would chat up.

"I'm fine...how's your neck?" Christina crosses her arms and leaned on the wall. She didn't have time for small talk as she wanted to know why Helen would want to speak to her privately.

"Sore as hell. Thanks for that," Helen groaned. "Nice gym. Seems sparsely populated at the moment." She paced around for a bit, trying to find the right words. "Something felt off earlier. So, really, how are you?"
