Never Too Late (for Bare)

[Pegasus]

Cody relented on his flirting as the waiter started passing out the dishes to their owners. Cody took the steak and thanked the waiter as the food worker also threw out some extra packets of salt as well as bringing some breadsticks for good attention. Cody unfolded his utensils and started adding some salt to his steak as he looked up at Drasna.

“Is your food to your liking?” Cody asked his date with a warm smile.

Anything further Drasna could say was soon cut off as the waiter arrived with her and Cody's food making the woman smile at him. "Why thank you!" Drasna said politely, taking her pasta dish and started off with a quick fork full before taking a bite, humming in approval at the taste. Looking up at Cody as he asked how it was she would swallow before smiling sweetly. "Lovely. How about you're steak?" Drasna asked right back with a smile.

“It’s very good. It’s nice to have such a beautiful view to enjoy it,” Cody complimented Drasna on her looks.

Cody never viewed himself as much of a ladies man, but he was always respectful when it came to anyone. It helped touch up his public image even when he was playing a heel in America and Mexico during his career. He also liked Drasna and how forward she was willing to be with him. It seems when you hit your elder years, there is no such thing as the need for build up. You already know so much and what you want.

Drasna chuckled a bit as she heard what her date said. Admittedly it was a little bit corny but she didn't mind. If anything she found it rather charming despite the campy nature of it and she rather liked it.

"Well happy to provide it for you handsome." She shot right back to him with a smile as she continued eating her meal and after a few minutes was nearly done.

"Mhmmm lovely. I dunno about you, but whenever you're ready I'm fine with leaving whenever you are." She said to him with a wink, very much implying and reminding him of what she wanted to have in store for him when they were in private.

Cody started digging in to his steak and eating piece by piece savoring the meat. He did his best not to be a full carnivore in front of his date, but he also had to admit that the kitchen staff cooked his steak to a lot more than perfection. Cody would have to leave a nice tip for this time around and come back. Cody nodded to Drasna ready to leave as he asked for the check and paid some yen before helping Drasna up holding her by the hand as he led them out of the restaurant. Cody called for a taxi as he didn’t want to make them walk all the way to Drasna’s place and so he opened the door for her before getting in the seat beside her. Cody handed the driver some more yen as he would let Drasna explain their destination.

Drasna smiled a bit as she stood up and grabbed hold of Cody's hand, falling in step with him as the two began to make their way out of the restaurant. Approaching the cab Drasna would smile and step in. "3-chōme-34 Tokumaru, Itabashi City." Drasna said readily to the driver who nodded and plugged her address into the GPS before taking off. Smiling Drasna would scoot towards Cody, wrapping her arms around his own and leaning her head on his shoulder, nuzzling her head against his cheek for a moment. "Thank you for an unexpectedly lovely day Cody. it was truly wonderful." Drasna to him with a smile.

Cody smiled as Drasna made herself comfortable near him. Drasna was very much different than most other women Cody met and he liked how straightforward and mature she was. She wasn’t one of these women out for money when she clearly had a job that already made her well off and she didn’t thrive off attention. Drasna was looking for a deeper connection and it felt real with Cody. At least the start of something beautiful that they could co-create.

“You’re welcome. It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to get out like this. I’m glad to spend it with such a kind soul,” Cody stated.

Drasna giggled slightly as she leaned on Cody's arm, nodding to him as she heard him speak. "As am I. It was such a fun night, and with someone so mature and handsome.. hehe its been a while since I can say I've done something like this." Drasna said happily before lifting her head up slightly and using a hand to gently grab Cody's chin, turning his head in her direction while she leaned close, kissing him fully on the lips to truly show her appreciation for him and the night he treated her too.

Cody smiled as Drasna stated that she had a great time with him and it made Cody feel prouder about the evening. It started off with a light-hearted spar and Drasna felt he was worthy enough to date. Maybe this is something that could last a long time for the future if they played their cards right. However, Drasna showed a card from her hand and it was a pretty bold one as she gave Cody one of his first kisses in a long time. Cody closed his eyes as he sank into the kiss and he wrapped his free hand under Drasna’s chin to steady her as they enjoyed their imitate moment.

Cuddled up on Cody and kissing him deeply to pass time in the car Drasna felt comfortable calling this date a success and she was definitely looking forward to continuing things even further with the man. Plus given the way he was cupping her chin she had a feeling that he was feeling the exact same way. Soon enough thought Drasna would look up at feeling the car stop and realized they were at her house. "Perfect timing. I was just getting ready to spice things up." She said as she pulled away, grabbing Cody by his tie and practically dragging him out of the car with her, leading him into her home with a sway to her hips for his enjoyment while leading the way, literally and figuratively to a long, long night filled with fun together.
