First time around the gym

He seemed less and less interested in this conversation the more it continued. Probably didn't take to her rather dry mood at the moment and wanted out. Either way his dismissive tone seemed to be guarding something as he tried to walk out as quickly as possible which she tried to put a stop too. "Hey! Its rude to just walk away from someone talking to you still!"

Standing up finally she stretched her back for a second. Then looked at the rather nervous Blaise. "What scared I'm gonna bite your head off or something? I was just curious is all." She said a bit calmer then she had been talking prior.

Nothing in that conversation had gone well - certainly not in any direction that'd suggest furthering it would be good for either of them. And optimistic and upbeat as he might be, Blaise doesn't care for awkward situations when there's really nothing to be gained from them. Judging from how things have been insofar, he's pretty sure she'd agree.

Only she doesn't. She's chastising him now for trying to let her get back to her day. There's no winning with this chick!

"Maybe?," he replies with a fatigued shrug. Tiptoeing around diplomacy hasn't been working at all; bluntness will have to do. "It's not important. And I get the feeling I'm really in the way with you, and that's not somethin' I wanna do, or had any intention of doing."

"If you were in the way, I would have said 'your in the way, fuck off' I haven't said that so you can rest assured that your not in the way." Kyoko said just as bluntly, though by this point she could tell that she had unnerved the dude, which would explain his skittishness and trying to back up from the whole conversation.

"Besides If you hadn't noticed I was done with that workout anyway, moving on to something else and I'm still asking you questions. So with that in mind, you said you weren't a trainer. So does that mean your a wrestler here and just...relaxing or training her for something else. I'm just trying to figure out what your doing here out of curiosity. Its not personal is it?"

There's no getting out of it without being super rude; bordering on mean, in fact. And that just isn't Blaise. He's resigned to his fate, for better or worse. "I'm a wrestler with a federation in Japan, yeah," he nods. He thinks he mentioned that before, but it's worth clarifying again. "I'm here training. Or was about to start. Haven't really gotten into it yet today."

His hands lace together behind his neck, body pulling taut. "So what're you planning to do at this point?"

Kyoko nodded her head in understanding. "Just not at LAW it seems." She says though her voice calm. Him saying he hadn't gotten into his own workout yet made her think about how she could squeeze something out of this, working out worked but a sparring partner was more useful to her in the moment. Plus its not like she hadn't wrestled guys before.

"Alright well then why don't we have a mutual little thing. Since I'm still working out and your trying to get started we could break the ice with some sparring." She said putting her hands on her hips. "That might be slightly less awkward for you then standing here shouldn't it?"

"Right," confirms Blaise with a bob of his head.

Okay, this tangent of conversation isn't as cringe-worthy. If things can keep in this vein, it won't be so bad. So he allows himself to settle a little, and be a bit less on the skittish and defensive side.

"Really now? Not too worn out or anything?," he asks. A spar could be fun! And that's what his trainer would insist on anyway, so he'd get to give a positive report later. Plus, it gives them something to do other than make weird smalltalk. "I could be down for that."

"Nope. More pumped up to work out then anything else actually. That was my warm up set." She said pointing at the barbell behind her. "I kinda put that trainer through the last session so I promised to not ask anything too strenuous of her today. I figured shes earned a day off if I can get a spar from you instead."

Walking towards the ring when he seemed interested she gesturing him to follow her. "Going to warn you though, I don't hold back in a spar. No point in my mind."

Blaise is following, no problem there. And in preparation, he's even tugging off the loose gray tanktop to hang over his shoulder, leaving his toned upper-body bare. "'Course. Unless, I mean, you were gonna wrestle tomorrow or something, and things got really rough, and you wound up injured and unable to perform. That'd suck." After a beat, he adds, "You're not wrestling tomorrow, right?"

Once they reach the ring, he tosses the tanktop onto the apron carelessly, then hops up after it. Grabbing onto the top rope, he springs to land his boots beside his hands. The rope's elasticity assists a bounding leap into the ring proper, flowing into a graceful roll and ending upright on his feet again. Sure, they have no audience to play to; that's more for the fun of it.

Kyoko looked at him. "No. I wouldn't be sparing if I was, training is for the days leading up, not the day of a match. I assure you I'm fine and certainly don't need you to hold back on me." Kyoko said as she stretches herself out in the middle if the ring and start to bounce around on her side of the ring.

When he has his rather showboating entrance to the ring Kyoko watches him and moves in. "So nothing too extreme we can go for a few minutes or until one of us gives up or is pinned. No fast counts though, not saying you will just fair warning I don't roll that way." She said offering her hand for a handshake.

His momentum brings him to stand near the center of the ring, bobbing on the balls of his feet. His head tilts a bit at her, but he doesn't give voice to his confusion. He didn't mean would she be wrestling today, that'd just be crazy. But she says she's fine, and he's equally fine with taking her at her word. And the invitation to not hold back is one he'll be happy to oblige-

Wait. Nothing too extreme? Finally, he cracks a smile and lets slip a little laugh. "Alright, I won't hold back on you and curb my extremeness at the same time," he muses to her, voice lilting with tease. At least he's relaxed enough to verbally jab at her now. The ring usually has that effect on him; life is always way simpler between the ropes.

Blaise takes the few steps closer to her. "Not that I would, but even if I did? Nothing stopping you from just diving right back in." He takes another step, this time to deliberately bump his pecs against her breasts. Normally a scowl or staredown would accompany something like this, but Blaise isn't even attempting to be sincerely intimidating. He's letting himself have a little fun with her. "No ref'."
