Student-Teacher Workout

[Devastated]

Candy Cane had been caught by that headlock, but she was currently on top and could try and fight her way out of it, which was exactly what the redhead decided to do! She pressed down against Muriel Spencer and brought her hands up to try and push those arms of her teacher off her head! A brief struggle ensued between the two former Roses....until finally Muriel decided to throw her body to the side, freed from Miss Spencer's grip Candy Cane would pull away and roll to create some distance.

The Punk-rocker would try to push herself up to her feet, throwing her gaze towards Miss Spencer as she saw her starting to rise up. Becky tried to get on her feet faster though and quickly rushed forward! Trying to catch Muriel off guard with her speed, as she would try and move in and jump up! Candy Cane was after all a high-flyer at heart and figured she should give her old teacher a taste of that! Jumping up, Candy Cane would try to shoot her legs forward and try to drive her boots into Miss Spencer's generous chest for a running drop kick!

As ever, Ms. Welsh was the picture of vibrant energy, difficult to pin down in even the best of circumstances. On one hand, Muriel was glad to see that her erstwhile student had kept the same energy that had made her a joy during her young days, the reckless enthusiasm that could run circles around anyone in the ring. On the other, she couldn't help but worry that the redhead might be sticking to a style that her body could keep up with. Age wore down on the best of bodies, a fact she was painfully aware of…

In the here and now, though, that wasn’t the concern. Now, her thoughts returned to nostalgia as she parted ways with Ms. Welsh and tried to rise before her opponent could do the same. In this, she failed - as always, speed was her domain, and she was on point, rising fast and moving in for that kill.

Experience saved Muriel here, as she could get her arms up in defense. But there was only so much that two arms could against two legs, and the impact was enough to knock her flat on her back. Stunned, she rolled away and got to her feet near the turnbuckle, pressing her back against it as she recovered and nodded her approval.

Candy Cane had always had a rather headstrong and reckless style of wrestling, while it might not be the safest of styles she had no desire at all to fight in any other way. If she was going to do this, she would put her body on the line, because she wanted to give it her all as long as she was fighting for something...She went in for that dropkick, nailing her teacher right in the chest, or so she thought. Muriel had been able to bring her arms up and guard herself against the strike but it had been enough to at least knock her down flat onto her back.

Becky dropped onto her side, braced by her arm as she quickly rolled back up to her feet. She would huff out as she saw the older blonde woman rise up to her feet, leaning against the corner. As Muriel gave her a nod, Candy Cane decided to do the same, all before she decided to charge after Ms. Spencer. Full throttle run towards her, as the redhead would jump up and try and go in for a running corner splash! Trying to throw herself body first right into Muriel Spencer and try to flatten her teacher against the corner!

It did Muriel well to see that her student had not been lax in her training since they parted ways. While she might have disapproved of Ms. Welsh’s mannerisms and general attitude, there was no denying that she was a competent, spirited wrestler with a considerable amount of talent.

But Muriel hadn't slacked off, either, and as her opponent moved in to deliver the coup de grace, her instincts kicked in. Ms. Welsh was always headstrong, always eager to press her advantage, and while that sort of impetuous fighting could serve her well, it could be turned against her, as well. Like so…

Muriel waited until the last second, then slid out of the way as Ms. Welsh came in and leaped towards her for the splash, giving her nothing but pads to smack into. She made her way behind her opponent as she bounced off, wrapped her arms around the younger woman’s waist, lifted her up, and proceeded to bring her down hard on her shoulders with a German Suplex, making sure to post up with her legs after the impact to go for a pinfall.

Becky ran at full speed towards the corner, fully intent on crushing her teacher against the corner post and her own body, as usual the Punk-rocker was putting her own body on the line, using every bit of it as a weapon...or in this case the full brunt of it. Charging forward at great speed, she jumped up and just as it was too late for her to do anything different, to stop herself or to change trajectory in any way. Muriel Spencer used her ring wherewithal to duck out of the way! Sliding away from the impact only to let Candy Cane crash chest first into the corner turnbuckles! "Gwuh!" She gasped out, releasing a heavy huff of air as she collided with the corner.

Her body bounced away from it as she was sent stumbling on her own too legs. Only to end up stumbling into the arms of Miss Spencer! Those arms held her firmly from behind around her waist. " T-teach?!" Candy Cane managed to yelp out as she was flung up and over, her shoulders were hammered into the canvas for a quick and skillfully executed German Suplex! "Grrgh!" She grunted through gritted teeth as she was slammed down.

The redhead released a pained groan as she was posted up, legs folded over herself as her body was kept in this pinfall like position. She would squirm and shift, had there been a ref no doubt they'd have gotten to a two count, before Candy Cane would buck and attempt to kick out of the pinning attempt!

Muriel had forgotten how good Ms. Welsh’s body felt. It had been too long she had the woman wrapped up for a suplex, and the moment she pulled her in for the German, a wealth of memories came flooding back, thinking back to all the times she had sent the redhead flying. Her body was perfect for it, fitting well with her own, light enough to be easily pulled up and flung away without a single problem.

She deposited Ms. Welsh onto the canvas, posted up and pinned her. WIth no referee, the burden was her to count, and she did so with little hesitation, even as she strained to maintain the hold. ”1…2…”

Three never came, as Ms. Welsh was quick to squirm out and make a hasty escape. Always so hard to hold down, this one.

Instead of rushing back on the offensive, Muriel rose to her feet and allowed her student to readjust, circling her once more with arms raised. ”Careful, Ms. Welsh.” She chided her student with a sly wink. ”Fools rush in.”

Candy Cane really hadn't expected that suplex and what was worse she hadn't anticipated the pin! Though instinct alone propelled her to buck and kick out after what would be a two count. She had been a wrestler for a few years now and she had stepped into the ring with some of the best wrestlers around! Still, her Teach was one of those great wrestlers. She managed to kick out of the pin, flopping down onto her front as she would huff out, pressing her palms down against the canvas as she'd push up to her hands and knees.

Hearing Muriel's chiding remarks, Becky would click her tongue...she'd push up to her feet and release a rather annoyed huff. "Whatever~" She would remark, as without skipping a beat after rising to her feet....Candy Cane rushed right in! Full speed ahead she'd try to run at her teach to close the distance between them and at the last moment try to dive in between Muriel's legs! She would aim to pop up to her feet behind her former teacher and try to grab onto her head from behind, with a jerk she sought to drive Muriel down onto her back with a Sitout rear mat slam!

It was good to see that, although time had passed, certain things remained constant in their lives. Ms. Welsh might have matured somewhat, but a fire that burned as bright as hers would not be so easily dimmed. There was still and would always be an impetuous streak to her, a need to rebel, and Muriel knew precisely how to bring that out.

It was why she wasn’t surprised by what came her way next. Sure enough, the woman came rushing her way, taking her head on. With a sly smile, Muriel raised her hands, ready to meet her.

Only that wasn’t Ms. Welsh’s plan. Instead, she went low and slipped through her legs, adroitly making her way behind her with a deft maneuver. Before Muriel could spin around, a pair of dextrous hands seized her head, and she found herself getting slammed into the mat with an expertly executed rear mat slam.

”Impressive…” She had to concede through her groans, as she rolled over and tried to push her way back up.

Becky's swift action earned her a chance to show up her former teacher a little bit. As she slipped in between the legs of Muriel, before popping up onto her feet and latching her fingers onto those shoulders of the older woman. She then jerked and yanked backwards as she downed Miss Spencer with that sitout rear mat-slam! She was seated and released a heavy huff as she heard the little comment from the blonde woman. A slight smirk appeared on Candy Cane's face, as she would push up to her knees...

As Muriel rolled over onto her front, Candy Cane would try to move in next to her. She tried to take a hold of the slightly bigger woman's arm to guide her up to a stand. She would try to slip her head in under Miss Spencer's armpit as she sought to wrap her arms around that waist of her teacher's. Bending her legs to gather the strength necessary for her to try to lift and throw Muriel Spencer backwards as she sought to nail her with a backdrop suplex!

Ms. Welsh had always been fleet of foot, but Muriel didn’t recall her being much of a power wrestler in their time together. She had always gone with more of a brawling style, preferring to trade fists instead of slams, especially when dealing with opponents who were bigger than her - which applied to everyone on the Roses roster, except for Makoto and Aigle.

Muriel did not expect her student to evolve in such a grand fashion, but she continued to be surprised. Instead of pouncing on her while she was down, Ms. Welsh waited for her to rise, then moved in for the attack. Her eyes widened as she was lifted off the ground, and while she recognized the move as a backdrop suplex - and a well-executed one at that - there was precious little she could do about it, aside from bracing for the impact.

Down she came crashing on the small of her back, and rolling off of it. Muriel popped to her feet, but that hardly meant she came away undamaged, as this was more of a reflex than anything. She wound up staggering into the corner and leaning up against the pads, and that was where she stayed while she caught her breath and struggled to regain her composure.
