Ryukyu flashed a confident smile. "Of course. In fact, I'm eager to return the favor someday. I hope you'll be there to see it," the Japanese woman said. Garlim crossed her arms, trying to gather her thoughts, which Ryukyu immediately noticed. "Hey, you tried to challenge her, huh?" Ryukyu asked.

"No, actually, she was the one who challenged me." Garlim sounded a little annoyed about this, but tried to relax. Ryukyu knew exactly what the outcome would be after hearing that. Garlim had been her mentor at the same time the Dutch woman was going through her worst moment. So she fully understood what she was going through.

"I understand... Uhm, Miss Alaina. It really is an honor to see you again, and I apologize if my mentor has upset you in any way... But she's in no condition to fully confront you. She's suffering from severe complexes, and fighting against older women like you is sending her into a crisis. Garlim can't put up a good Match even if she wants to... Believe me, she's been working on this for a long time; she's been treating this in therapy for a while," Ryukyu clarified.

The blonde goddess couldn't help but feel embarrassed about it while Ryukyu clarified the situation. Her reaction was to lower her gaze to try not to look anyone in the eye.

Alaina listened and assumed that Ryukyu may have been standing to the side listening to what the two were saying. No way she blurted that info out first thing out of the blue in a regular conversation. Alaina still smiled and nodded to Ryukyu. Regardless she was happy to see this woman and knowing that she was doing well now made Alaina feel good. "I see. Well listen it was great to see you again and I understand a little more now." Alaina said.

While Alaina understood the mental block of not wanting to step in the ring with older women it didn't excuse Garlim saying what she did about wrestlers or wrestling as a whole. That wasn't therapy that was arrogance. However, Alaina did feel like with the better understanding her frustration and low key anger at Garlim was subsiding.

Ryukyu's smile softened, and she nodded understandingly. "I'm glad I could help clear things up for you, Alaina," she said softly. "Garlim can be a little... rough around the edges sometimes." Ryukyu glanced at Garlim, who still had her gaze lowered, her expression somewhere between embarrassed and defensive. "I think we all have our own difficulties, don't we?" Ryukyu continued, returning her gaze to Alaina. "But it's good that you're willing to listen and understand Garlim's position."

Garlim looked slowly at Alaina, a slightly defensive tone in her eyes. "I... didn't mean it," Garlim said, softening her voice slightly. "It's not just pride or arrogance." Garlim took a step forward and stared at Alaina. "The truth is, I accepted your proposal to test our strength. Because you've always been a true competitor.. If I rejected you, I wouldn't want to look in the mirror again..." Ryukyu watched the exchange with interest, a slight smile on her lips.

It was clear the blonde goddess still had her competitive spirit, but she no longer had the motivation.

Alaina's stance on Garlim was softening up the more she found out and she was disappointed in herself for judging her so harshly at the outset of things. "It is all good, and I really am flattered you feel that way about me. Once you get into groove you are going to be tough to stop in that ring. I really hope to see big things from you in LAW I know you are very capable, you have the potential there to really make a big mark here." Alaina said trying to encourage Garlim.

Garlim's expression remained the same for a few seconds. "You think so, huh?" Garlim said, her tone a little softer. "... Honestly, I'm not sure, I can-... No, I'm not sure I want to adapt to wrestling..." Garlim took a step closer to Alaina, staring at her, their foreheads about to collide. "But, if I do. I hope you're not the first I'll have to face... Because I'm glad that despite how difficult it is for you to understand your opponents, you still bother to lend me your support... Take care." Garlim's gaze shifted before she walked off to her desk.

Ryukyu wanted to stay and talk with Alaina a little longer, but she hadn't come to the gym today for that. She had something important to tell Garlim, something about her adoptive sister. So she simply gave her a cute smile of approval as she followed the blonde goddess.

Who was now simply thinking about what to do to aim her career.
