Meeting your heroes

"Me? I was... well, I guess I am still a DJ, at least part time. Always had the time to keep in shape though, granted I really hit the weights and cardio once I decided I was going to become a wrestler." Eve explained with a smile, letting out a sigh as she was finally put down.
"I was attacked after one of my big gigs once, two guys tried to kidnap me. They did me in pretty good, but I managed to hold my own against them... well, a little more than that, I did kick their arses as it happened. Realising I wasn't too bad at fighting I found a thirst for it you know? Not in any malice kind of way but you know... the thrill of it. Wrestling seemed like the natural step to take." Eve further explained with a smile, telling Alaina why she was in the business.

Alaina listened and nodded keeping eye contact as Eve spoke. "It is good to see ya in the ring, and more importantly I am glad you are all right after that attack." Alaina said.

"I would love to go out but I think Tina or my nephew Dan would fit in more than myself or my husband would. We're too old.... we scream 'mom and dad in a club' ya know?" Alaina siad with a loud laugh.

"Hey... you're never too old to do anything. Besides, you're like in your 30's aren't you? That's not even old at all." Eve mentioned. She knew well that Alaina was in her 40's, but she wanted to compliment her. Though in all honestly Alaina looked amazing for her age and could easily be mistaken for being in her 30's, she was still in amazing shape, so her statement was not unfounded.

"I can bring you guys to one of my shows sometime if you want? You can bring everyone. Even if it isn't one of my shows I'm pretty well known on the block, I can get us into anywhere if you fancy a little party night. VIP passes and the works. It would be the least I can do, after all, you've shown me a lot today." Eve further explained, playing down her own fame as she had toured worldwide and had massive acclaim for her shows.

Alaina laughed at the suggestion that she was 30 something. She shook her head and looked over at Eve. "I am 43, the twins are 6 now. I really appreciate the offer and flattery Eve. I just may take ya up on that sometime." Alaina said with a grin.

She looked around anxiously a moment before her attention turned back to Even. "I just feel too old to fit in like I would stick out terribly at a club. I have mom style and not young lady current trend style." The amazon added, nearly laughing again this time at her own expense.

"I don't believe you, but if it will make you feel more comfortable, how about you head to my place? I might be able to help you find a nice look you will feel good in. Bring some friends, we can make a night out of it." Eve suggested with a pleasant smile still ever present on her beautiful face.

"I tell you what, worse case scenario, we could just stay at mine and have our own little girly night in." Eve suggested further, her smile growing at the prospect of a potential night with Aliana whether it was out in the city or even a gathering at her own apartment.

Alaina smiled at the thought of being able to go out. Generally if she wasn't doing something wrestling related she was doing something family related. A third option was mind blowing in its appeal. "Okay, we'll do that. I can try to talk to Tina and see what she thinks although she will be more than happy to go out. "I will call you and let you know when I get a chance to talk Charlie or Dan into watching the twins and we'll be all set. Sound good to you?" Alaina asked, hoping Eve could work around that arrangement.

"Sounds good." Eve spoke with a smile in her eye. "Then its a night out... or in if you prefer, you just let me know when your ready and I'll tell you guys where to meet." Eve further spoke with a little giggle, getting excited at the prospect. She gave Alaina a playful nudge on the arm before she slid out of the ring to collect her things and get ready to leave. Before she did so she wrote down her contact number for Alaina so she could keep in touch with her, leaving it with the older wrestler.
"I'll see you soon then yeah?" Eve spoke out, giving a final wave before she departed.
