It seems that Zira did recognize the goddess of war after all, or at least moderately. Perhaps in that they were both on the same page, although with the various questions Zira raised... Garlim didn't know where to begin to answer her. They were difficult questions for her, so she let out a sigh before answering. "Indeed, it's a long story. But the truth is that yes, I am broke, this gym you see here, is just one of the 3 properties I still have left after that incident happened, before I was banned from participating in any circuit." Garlim wasn't sure if Zira had any knowledge about what happened to her to make her quit MMA for life, but all in all she just spilled the beans.

"This place is the only place I can come and clear my thoughts with peace of mind, although since I've been at LAW it's been a little more restless. You see, if I'm in LAW it's for money, I really don't want to lose everything I have, I got my debut there thanks to the favor of an old friend of mine who is a very well known professional wrestler in China. She told me that if I join, maybe I can stand out easily and look for a way to improve my image.... But the truth is that this beginning has been a complete torture, in all the letters." Garlim expressed, feeling ashamed and humiliated after all that had happened in her very brief career as a wrestler.

Zira hummed softly as she listened to what Garlim said. It was a tough predicament to be in admittedly. Banned from any MMA circuits and without a penny to start your own. Loans were a option but could be risky, so Zira did understand the issue there but none the less. "Torture how? Like you were beaten really badly? Or its just not what you were expecting? I know some people who transition from MMA to wrestling can have a hard time with the change in mindset." Zira said with a raised eyebrow while waiting for a response, her arms crossed under her chest as she waited for a answer.

Garlim laughed at Zira's comment, a curious contrast indeed. “Well, if by change of mentality you mean going from things like gouging someone's eye out, blowing off arms or beating your opponents even when they're unconscious.... To basically dressing weird, making ridiculous speeches and subduing someone by sticking a sock in their mouth... Hahaha! Well that's quite a change heh. You know, sometimes I miss waking up in the morning and realizing that my eye is still bleeding.... Yeah, it's been a rough start. I was trained by an ex-military guy who taught me a different system, I didn't think I would actually have to use that one day for a freak show... Heh, that damn old man would be making fun of me now, I can even hear him say” Garlim took on the demeanor of his trainer to mimic him ”DAMN GARLIM! I TRAINED YOU TO BE A KILLING MACHINE, NOT A CARNIVAL ATTRACTION! Hehehe, yeah something like that.... And how does your son behave?” She ask with some curiosity.

Zira raised a eyebrow as Garlim spoke. Yeah she was definitely a more brutal type of fighter, even more so than herself in a way and admittedly she was starting to see why the woman was banned from MMA circuits but at the same time... "You know there's hardcore matches here yeah? Matches where all the things you talked about can certainly happen and be contested with less rules than either MMA or Wrestling. Sounds like that's your calling more than anything." Zira said with a shrug before raising another brow at the topic change. "Wouldn't know. My daughter is about as well behaved as a toddler can be though." Zira said cheekily with a smirk on her face in response.

Garlim listened with some interest to Zira's proposal, did she mean something like street fights? She had participated in one of them for a personal matter a couple of years ago, but she had not thought of dedicating herself to them. Maybe it could be interesting, although at the moment she wasn't in the mood to accept proposals like that, maybe her old friend wouldn't like to know that. Besides, it sounded juicier to talk about other topics “Hah, it sounds like your daughter is going to be a fighter like you someday. Be very careful, in my experience, things with nepotism usually end badly. You can be the best fighter in the world, but that doesn't mean that boys are born with the same hunger for glory and need to excel” Garlim said based on some cases she knows ”I once faced an extremely strong fighter, considered one of the most important fighters of the last century. It happened about 4 years ago, and I must say that despite her age she was hitting pretty hard, and she said that her daughter would one day be as strong as her. She gave her all the tools, she gave her all the luxuries that anyone could ask for. But when it was my turn to face her daughter a couple of years ago, well. You could say that she had the talent, but she lacked something very important, and that's grit. It only took me a couple of punches to destroy her, leaving her face down on the canvas completely bloody. That same day, she retired."

Garlim took a brief pause as she recalled that experience in her mind, she could perfectly remember the red painted canvas “After that, her mother sued me and now look where I am.... And sometimes they ask me why I did that, why I didn't stop hitting her. Why I destroyed her life, and the truth is I don't know. All I remember is seeing everything black before I stopped, but if there's one thing I have to point out, it's that that girl had such an inordinate ego, that she dared to make fun of me on a subject she had no business making fun of...” There was an awkward silence that filled the air “I am not a mother, but I simply want to say that the worst mistake anyone can make. It is to instill our dreams to someone who does not have the opportunity to decide her destiny, and I hope that regardless of what your daughter wants to be, she knows how to recognize and admire your figure without it clouding her world.”
