First day at work

What Sophia needed most was a moment to breathe as the relentless series of throws left her in a sorry state. Before she could get that however she found herself tuning towards the ropes and bouncing back. Dan, however, instead of following her went to rebound off of the ropes himself and that gave her precious seconds to decide what to do. The momentum was still too foreign for her to put it to good use and so instead she would try to slow down and duck under the lariat. At the same time, she would extend her own arm across Dan's chest to try and push him back and down onto her knee with a backbreaker. If successful she would stagger back to the ropes, trying to catch her breath.

Dan saw Sophia duck and raise her arm up hitting him across the upper abdomen but his forward momentum carried him forward! "Oomph!" Dan groaned as he stumbled forward turning around. She knocked the wind out of him a bit but he stood at the ready trying to prepare himself for anything that may have been coming his way. "Damn.... you hit really hard.... wow...." Dan said as he was doing his best to stagger back up through the pain.

Seeing how Dan stood, Sophia slumped against the ropes, breathed heavily and chuckled. "That from a man who gave me some first-rate flying lessons? How about we call it a draw before we break that ring or beat each other soo much we can't show up for work tomorrow?" She said with a smile, hoping Dan would be satisfied with calling it even for as much as she did not want to continue, she knew herself enough to know she would not back down either if he wanted to go on.

"Yeah... whew... that is fine with me. I don't know how much more punishment I can take you were really giving it to me." Dan said with a smile. "So welcome aboard, and hopefully soon we can do some more training some time." Dan said with a nod. "I think you are gonna do really well here Sophia." Dan said. Calling the spar was the right call as both of them would be needing to save energy for any clients they had coming up.

"Yeah, that was good, wouldn't mind doing it again sometime. Though I'm gonna need a breather, you are really goddamn strong" Sophia replied with a smile, lowering herself to the mat and taking a break. She still had her first day ahead of her and she already felt like she run a marathon. At least fro now it seemed to be quiet she was sure though that she would need some of her strength yet.

"Right back at ya!" Dan said catching his breath. "I have some clients that are here for strength training only early so thankfully I don't think I have any in-ring work with clients today. Good thing too." Dan said with a smile. "Well, welcome to the LAW gym."

Dan was happy to have another trainer here who knew what they were doing. Quite a few of them were good at their jobs hence how they got hired in the first place. Sophia seemed like she would be a great fit here though and for that Dan was very thankful.
