Blaise grunts in response to her offering to just let him win. That's no win at all! Doesn't count!

And then she lays on him.

Oh, hello. That's not an altogether unwelcome feeling. Beautiful, sassy Irish lassy, lying corner to corner over him? His hands instinctively lift to rest at her waist, trying to settle for what few seconds she grants him. But the moment ends, and Blaise tries to remind himself that he's salty with her and the previous levels of disrespect; feminine wiles, right? Getting him to focus instead on the feel of her skin against his?

Hoisted onto her shoulders, Blaise desperately tries to not think of their positioning! His hands weave through her locks, bracing at the back of her head. The rhetorical question is answered with a panicked yelp! His back collides with the mat in a thunderous BOOM of an impact! His body ricochets a little off the mat, limbs spasming out before he simply lies on his back before her, spreadeagle, mouth hung open and abs rising and falling heavily with each labored breath. His eyes open to dim halves, staring up at the overhead lights.

Erin slammed Blaise down hard as was apparent by the loud thud he made against the ground. The redhead looked down and was quite satisfied with her work. It didn't look like her sparring partner was getting up anytime soon. She just felt bad that he would likely be feeling this for the next few days. To be fair though Erin had to admit that she was pretty tired herself. Lifting Blaise was no easy task. Done enough times it was enough to cause quite a sweat.

The redhead took a seat on Blaise's stomach and turned to face him. "I think I got you." She said with a smile, starting to find her comment perhaps a bit more humorous than it was. "Anywayyyy...ONE!" Erin finally said before sticking out her tongue at Blaise. She was pretty sure that this time the teen was down for the count. She would be impressed if he even tried to put up a fight now.

She'll have to settle for being unimpressed. Blaise is beaten and supine beneath her, his eyes shut, but not unconscious. He gives no retort, no comeback; he only lies there, finally accepting his fate. He's pretty disappointed in this outcome. Sure, he shoots to win every match he's in, but this time it felt a little different.

And all this is externalized in only a vague puff of a sigh.

"Twoooo...and three." Erin counted, grinning as she finished. It wasn't long before the redhead stood up and wiped the sweat from her forehead. She'd then reach a hand down to Blaise to help the teen get up. "That was way more of a workout than I expected." she commented. She had bee surprised that Blaise had been able to last so long. He even gave her a run for her money at some points.

"Now come on, let's get you up. You owe me a drink after all." Erin teased, not forgetting about their earlier bet. If Blaise was too slow to grab her hand then she would just have to grab him and pull him up to his feet herself before letting him rest against the ropes. "Although...maybe I'll take an IOU on that. Ya kinda look beat." The redhead continued, looking over the exhausted teen. "Maybe next time I see you around." Erin said with a smile, now getting ready to head out of the ring.

The third count. He feels a little numb. Blaise is rarely not a dynamo of energy, even when losing. But this.. he was really invested! Dang it.

When she gets off of him and offers a hand, he puts on a small smile and takes the hand. It's not his typical vibrant smile, but it's not altogether unpleasant. It's just north of neutral flavored with disappointment. "Neh. I'm fine," he dismisses her concerns. "Anyway, yeah, I owe you a drink. It's nothing for me to get it now..."

But she's already taking her leave. A little stumped, he staggers after her and slips between the ropes, ultimately dropping to a wobble on the ground.
