Alice Gaster vs Kyo Akamatsu

Kyo held his breath as he held Alice up in the elevated bow and arrow hold, testing her flexibility to its limits. He wouldn't deny, Alice had been giving him a tough match, and had had him on the defensive for most of it. Now, though, he had Alice right where he wanted her, and all he really needed to do was keep stretching at her until she tapped out.

That was the plan, at least, but it seemed Alice was way better at escapes than Kyo had anticipated. With a sharp twist, Alice managed to roll over, getting her leg free and droping down so she was lying across Kyo's front in a sudden pin! Gasping in surprise, Kyo twisted sharply, trying to get a shoulder up in time, and rolled against Alice, trying to roll the two of them over so that he caught her in a sudden pin in turn!

Alice wanted to use the sudden pin to try and buy some time, just a few milliseconds to catch her breath…but despite the suddenness of her manuever, Kyo would react appropriately, not just kicking out in time, but rolling Alice up for a counter-pin of his own!

”Crap!”

”ONE!”

“TWO!”

“TH-NO!”

With her body still aching, Alice needed a moment to collect her strength, before she pressed her arms against the canvas…in order to prop her body up, trying to kick Kyo away to break up the pinfall!

Kyo's counter-pin had almost worked. Almost. Alice, however, had managed to kick out at the last possible second, managing to get a shoulder up. Knowing that he couldn't afford to waste any time, Kyo spun back up to his knees, ready to take the fight to the British girl once more. This fast paced, brutal match was taking its toll on the both of them, and so Kyo knew he would have to end this soon.

As Clara rolled back up to her feet, Kyo would immediately run at her, leaping forwards to try to nail her with a drop kick that would hopefully nail her in the chest or head-- either way, he wanted to incapacitate her a bit further before he tried to hit her with a finisher!

Alice groaned as she tried to find her way back to her feet. Kyo managed to match her pacing…that was a problem. As she rose, she could feel how heavy her body felt. After rushing for quick, fast strikes for so long in the match, she was getting tired. She had to find a way to get an advantage against Kyo…or else she would lose!

As she rose, she could hear Kyo’s footsteps…and would immediately drop down and roll to the side to avoid Kyo’s dropkick! What Alice didn’t realize…was that the ref was standing right beside her, with no time to dodge the attack!

Alice seemed somewhat out of it as she staggered back up to her feet. So far, so good, he thought to himself: one decisive drop kick to the chest or, more preferably, head, would probably take the wind out of her sails and open the door to a match-ending pinfall. And so, as Alice staggered to her feet, Kyo lunched right at her, leaping forward for a drop kick...

...only for Alice to drop and roll out of the way...leaving the ref exposed to the attack instead, to Kyo's horror.

Kyo's dropkick slammed hard into the ref's head, dropping them to the mat like a sack of potatoes, the crowd immediately going into an uproar. Hitting the mat as well, Kyo immediately crawled over to the stricken ref to check them over, horrified that he had just accidentally knocked the ref out!

As Alice checked to the side, she realized she heard ref’s cry…and turning around, she saw Kyo pushing himself off the floor…

…and smiled a cheeky grin.

With ref out, neither competitor could be officially disqualified now. Anything and everything Alice could do was legal! As much as she respected Kyo, he accidentally gave her a way to turn the tables in the match…and she wouldn’t let that go to waste!

As Kyo and Alice rose back up, the Lightweight would jump her rival, trying to ram her boot into his jaw for a powerful, skull-rattling Superkick!

For a brief moment, Kyo had forgotten about the match. Internally, he was panicking after having just accidentally hit the ref; the last thing he had ever wanted was to break the rules of the match, intentionally or not, but because of his clumsiness the referee might have just been knocked out! Staggering to his feet, he was about to walk over to the ref girl and check on her, and hopefully rouse her awake...

...when Alice came leaping into his field of view, boot outstretched. Then pain exploded in his jaw; his head snapped back as colours darted across his vision, and he crumpled onto his back, utterly dazed.

And here came the jeers.

”BOOOOOOOOO!!!”, the crowd let Alice know their displeasure…all the while the Pale Rider wore the biggest grin she could muster at the moment:

”Oh come on…you’ll guys keep quiet that I’m cheating, won’t you?”, she’d tell to the crowd, elliciting some snickers…and some louder jeers her way.

Shrugging her shoulders, Alice would sneak from under the ropes of the ring…and quickly snatched her signature Kendo Stick! The crowd’s jeers got louder and louder as Alice got back inside, aiming her Kendo Stick at the head of her rival:

”Nothing personal, Kyo! Hope you understand!”, she would say, swinging her stick right down for her rival’s head!

The thunder of boos filled the arena; at first, lying on his back, Kyo thought they were booing him for having accidentally hit the ref. Then he realized they were isntead booing the reason why Kyo was now lying flat on his back-- namely the fact that Alice had just blindsided him from out of nowhere. Normally, he would have been furious with such tactics, but right now he was too dazed to be angry; he twitched his jaw, trying to regain some feeling as he slowly tried to push himself upright.

Slowly, achingly, he managed to roll over onto his hands and knees, then start to push himself upright. He was on his knees when he saw Alice's boots before him. The English girl was standing before him, brandishing that bokken she had entered the arena with...and was preparing to swing it down hard into Kyo's skull!

He reacted instinctively as Alice brought the blade down. Years of kendo practice caused him to suddenly snap both his arms up, slapping his hands along either side of the descending wooden blade...and if he caught it, he would barely manage to halt its descent, mere inches from its head.

"That's...not...how you handle...a bokken," he growled. Alice's heelish tactics were now sparking a fury in him: with the bokken still caught between his hands, he would stand up and lash out with a heavy boot, aiming to kick Alice in her bare midsection and make her release the blade!

It felt good to be the bad guy on the occasion, Alice thought. Fans booing her, her opponents angry at her…but ultimately, she found tactics like this a chaotic fun.

She swung the Kendo Stick down…

…

”W-what?”

Alice’s eyes were wide in surprise, as Kyo caught her stick, as if he was catching a sword from mid-air in a movie! His next words reminded her of a key fact about him: he was actually a Kendo practitioner!

For forgetting the key fact, she got punished, as Kyo pushed his leg upwards, nailing the Pale Rider in her stomach!

”AAAAAUFF!!!”, Alice screamed, letting go of her weapon, as she doubled over, holding her kicked midsection!
