A Cold Confrontation

Enrieta left the ring and headed backstage having defeated Ruby Rose somewhat satisfied. Sure, she had to cheat to win by nailing her with a brass knuckle punch to her thigh, which naturally tarnished her victory, but at the end of the dsy, a win in the books was win regardless of how it can and Ruby's pained scream after the punch was its own reward.

While she could have simpl headed straight to the locjer room, the Flying snake was in now rush. She'd just take a seat on a folding chair in the backstage to cool off some.

Ruby was not blessed with a god given body unlike anyone else. Ruby was not blessed with being tactically savvy than other people. Ruby was blessed in the fact that she had so many people supporting her. Weiss being one of her main supporters. Not that she would ever admit it, but Weiss cared about Ruby’s career. So she would cheer along with Ruby and every move she made. Getting closer and closer to victory. Against an opponent who seemed like they wanted this match to be hardcore and bloody. Good on Ruby for trying her best to keep things clean. Enrieta was not of the same mindset, grabbing the brass knuckles and using them on Ruby’s leg. Something that everyone knew was the source of her offense. Making things even worse, Weiss saw Enrieta double down and beat on Ruby after the fact. Angry beyond belief, Weiss went to Ruby’s side as she was carted off, having a hard time walking it off herself.

Now in the medical room the pair were arguing over how the match ended. But she cheated!! Weiss let out angrily over the results of the match. Agh…OUCH…Yup she sure did Ruby said wincing in pain as the medical officials tended to her. How can you be so relaxed about this. Not only were you cheated out of a loss. She really could’ve hurt you. Weiss said with a more calm anger behind her voice. I try to focus on one thing at a time Ruby said trying to defuse the situation. Okay then…match over with. What if she took that brass knuckle and hit you in the jaw, chest or even worse! Weiss said as it was getting harder to hide her emotion. Ruby didn’t have a good answer for Weiss, or at least one that would satisfy her. Lets just be glad that didn’t happen Ruby said with a sigh as she laid back on the table. “Lets just be glad that didn’t happen” she says. Okay you focus on getting better I will figure this out Weiss said as she stormed out the room, looking for Enrieta. Weiss wait!! Ruby said trying to reach out to Weiss but can’t because of her injury.

Enrieta sat somewhat comfortable backstage, nut only somewhat. She was not was tired as she had been when first leaving the ring, That was certain, but the soreness all her body that the match had left behind was still there. For what it was worth, Ruby hit pretty hard.

There were girl that were lightweights because they were small and girls that were lightweights because were, well, light. Ruby was very clearly in the latter. She probably could pack back more muscle on her frame without sacrificing her speed and simply be a stocky and fast middleweight, which would make Ruby quite a threat if she ever wanted revenge on Enrieta.

The Romanian Viper, having now caught her breathe, was still feeling a quite parched. She'd get up from where she sat, make her way to nearby water fountain and bend over for a drink.

While Ruby was left to recover with the medical officials. Weiss was on her mission to find Enrieta. Weiss, unlike Ruby’s sister Yang had more control over her temper. So while angry, Weiss was not going to come in swinging like her. No Weiss would temper herself and had some choice words for Ruby’s opponent.

It wouldn’t be too hard to find the woman. Weiss knew what she looked like and she couldn’t be that far away. Unless Enrieta went for the exit immediately after the match. Assuming there way any truth behind her words. Enrieta as a violence seeking barbarian would still be in the arena.

Looking all over, Weiss’s search would end as she sees Enrieta so casually drinking water from a fountain. Walking over to her, unknowingly Weiss walked with heavy steps as if to tell everyone who was here. Approaching the woman she was searching for Weiss would cross her arms. So you are Enrieta Rosu, my what a match you just had. Weiss said as she crossed her arm, feigning ignorance. Not that Enrieta would know what her relationship with Ruby was.

Enrieta pulled her jead up from the water fountain as she heard a voice address her, mentioning her match. The romanian did not recognize the white-haired woman, but she had a haughty air to her that gave her pause. The fact that she had her arms crossed didn't hrlp either. Whatever was was, this woman fid not look happy.

"Oh sure. It was brutal. Unfortunately had to get a little creative at the end to get the win, but I think you already saw that. Mind telling me who you are?"

Whatever was was, this woman did not seem particularly happy.

From the way Enrieta had looked at Weiss and responded to her. It was plain to see that she didn’t know who Weiss was. This would be one of the few times that is a good thing. At least Weiss could discern something’s about Enrieta on her own first. That being said hearing Enrieta talk about the match in the way that she did. It did very little to quell Weiss’s anger.

Oh yeah brutal for sure. Especially that bit where you cheated to win. The ref was none the wiser. Weiss said doing her best to hide her intent. Still fake complimenting Enrieta to prod intentions further. I’m Weiss Schnee. If you don’t recognize me then you probably live under a rock. Looking at you that might fit. But that hardly matters now.

At first Enrieta didn't know what to think of how the woman spoke of her cheating. She simply recounted the fact of what she did, without any clear judgement. But once she accused her of living under a rock for not knowing who she was, two posdibilitues came yo mind.

One, thus woman simply the typical arrogant win at all cost type, who while didn't see a problem with cheating, held those who dudn't know her in contempt.

The other was that she was angry that she cheated and for one reason or another, was trying to hide it. Her last comment was especially cryptic, though. Why did it hardly matter now?

"Excuse me? Why would I know you? I don't think you're a champion, or a tournament winner, nor do I think you've had notable run-ins with anyone who was. You're no different than the dozens of other 5 and a half foot pretty girls with a gym membership in LAW." Enrieta responded, dismissively.

Weiss already made her judgement on Enrieta even before meeting the woman. The match with Ruby was enough to tell Weiss how detestable Enrieta was. This whole thing was all just to confirm Weiss’s thinking. Otherwise Ruby’s optimistic thinking may win out. But the more she spoke, it was hard to think Enrieta was any type of kind person. As Weiss said her name, Enrieta made it clear she didn’t hear of Weiss. Only caring about what sort of combat accolades Weiss may have.

Her response just disappointed Weiss. Ah, so under a rock it is. You only know people based on some wrestling accolades? You certainly must be some fighting starved dolt. Weiss said waving Enrieta off dismissively. Now that things were all clear in Weiss’s head she would press against the woman in front of her. Looking her dead in the eyes and not backing down. I’m close to Ruby, you know. The girl you cheated out of a win and nearly brutalized her.

Enrieta could tell where this was going, a backstage confrontation by someone that was close to who she'd just beaten, this girl had come to beat her up while she was still tired and hurt from the match. But Enrieta wasn't going to apologize or backdown.


"First, yeah, I'd only recognize you wrestling accolades. We're wrestlers, duh and its not like you've done anything notable outside of wrestling for me to know about either." Enrieta said, with weiss in her face.

"Second, even as someone close to ruby you can only say I nearly brutalized. When I had those brass knuckles in hand, I hit the girl in the one place she'd mostly easily recover from. Sure I 'cheated' but I wasn't going to do something seriously harmful in a match she didn't expect that in." In contrast to Ruby, she coukd tell Weiss wasn't trying to hude a willingness to hurt people behind a veneer.

"However, if you touch me, Weiss, expect that I will try to seriously hurt you." Enrieta was right up close to weiss. As tired as she was, the romanian couldn't help how wonderful it'd look to see Weiss' white hair contrast with a face covered in her own blood.
